Good location, but some things to keep in mind.
Rooms in El Nido are on the pricier side compared to elsewhere in the Philippines. So the low cost was the driving force for me booking a room here. And overall, it was a relatively comfortable stay. Bed is comfortable, AC blows cold, and the breakfasts are varied and filling. The location is fairly central and just about everything in El Nido town center is walkable. But the room is seriously one of the smallest I've ever stayed in with very old furniture. It just wasn't an inviting place to come back to each day. Mind you, we are NOT luxury travelers. We are used to basic accomodations, but this was old and basic on a different level. Having shared bathrooms also added a bit of inconvenience. The windows also do a horrible job of blocking outside noise. We were woken up several times each night by fighting/barking dogs, screaming cats, and roaring tricycles. Also, the wifi connection is intermittent and very very slow (which seems to be the case almost everywhere in the Philippines, but it's still worth noting). With El Nido really growing, I feel that there are better options popping up around town. Overall, I was comfortable, but there were too many downsides for me to recommend it.

Friendly staff and clean rooms
The staff was very friendly and helpful towards all of the guests and we even got upgraded to a bigger room for free! The only downsides was the lack of a proper reception and some power outages (which happens all the time in El Nido). Luckily they have a backup generator which kicked in fairly quick. BNKY is a perfect place to stay for a budget trip and you can easily stay there for a longer period of time if needed.

Good quiet lodging with AC in El Nido
Due to construction this place isn't much to look at from the outside but for the price it's a solid choice. Room was clean and had AC. We were upgraded to one of their new rooms in a newly built building which was appreciated, breakfast was always good and fresh, and location is good for easy access to the busy part of El Nido. It's about a five minute walk to the docks. There might be better places closer to the beach, but this one worked for us.

Very basic room but good location!
We chose BNKY because this one had an overall good reviews. I think they were over rated. We stayed in the old ancestral house which needs a good refurbishing. The newly constructed building looked better. Could not see the inside though. We preferred having a private bathroom but unfortunately it was not available at the time of our booking. The shared bathroom did not look or smelled clean. No soap and shampoo were provided when they are basic amenities and don't cost much. The toilet paper was not replaced regularly so we often had to ask for more rolls. The 3 days we were there the toilet was not cleaned once. The toilet rug was all wet and full of sand and other marks. The toilet bowl had a lot of old and unattractive stains and there was no toilet brush available. For customers cleanliness is a priority. The room was tiny and looked old but bed was comfortable and it had a good airconditioner. The place is quiet at night as you are not too close to restaurants and bars. You will hardly hear roosters or dogs barking. Most of the staff were nice and friendly. Breakfast was good and freshly made and personalised. It is always accompanied with fresh fruit. The wifi worked better in the very early morning (before 8am) or late at night (after 10pm) when not many people are on the internet. I found it was expensive for the amount we paid for ($50 a night) when we had been to other lodgings that were cleaner, bigger, newer and cheaper. They could attract more customers if they would pay attention to the little details, ike providing soap and shampoo. If the owner provides the basic amenities and the rooms and bathrooms are better maintained the customers will be happier and satisfied.

dorm room, but friendly staff
We stayed 3 nights here, unfortunately the room had no windows, only in the bathroom. It was a bit smelling moldy after a day. The staff was friendly, the place is convenient, not far from the busy centre of the town, a few minutes walk and very quiet. Although for this price, it could be a little bit better, but was not unsatisfied at all, just comparing to our hotel in PPS, which was much better and cheaper. But El Nido is like this, I guess. Bottom line, for a few nights it is okay, but try not to choose the room with the bunk beds.
