My stay in the hotel was good however I have experienced things that can't forget...like this was the first time that the pillow in the hotel that I stayed with had a foul smell because they are washing their pillow cases, comforters, and bed sheets manually that results of having bad smell. Also the rooms were not child-friendly all of their standard room was in upper level though we have kids that's what it was not fit for us. The dim light of the room that we stayed is not working as well. We ended up sleeping having turn the lights on. Please let them know that they need to make sure that those things were being monitored and needs to be enhanced.

DISAPPOINTED!!!
Visited this Buddha Resort over the long weekend because my daughter has been asking us if we can go swimming. My husband and I decided to book a room for 6. (NOTE: Buddha Resort was not our first choice, every hotel and/or resort that we were eyeing in Subic, Bantangas, La Union was fully booked). We found Buddha Resort through Traveloka and we booked immediately. Let me give you some disappointments we experienced: 1. We travelled from Manila to Pangasinan. Traffic was okay but we were really tired. When we arrived, we were greeted with friendly staffs but I was shocked to see the room. It was so small and 4 persons could barely even fit in. I naturally have to go to the frontdesk to complain. One of the front office personnel called their supervisor. But the supervisor said it was the room we booked. I said "No i booked a room for 6 persons. That room is not for 6 people. And that was not a family room. I booked a family room!" She stood firm that it ws the room we booked until my voice got a little loud, enough for people to hear but not too rowdy to disturb other guests. The supervisor eventually transfered us to a bigger room, which was apparently the real 'family room'. 2. Room does not have doormats. So after you take a bath and go out, the floor outside the bathroom is wet. We had to ask for a doormat -- but isnt it a basic amenity in a rented room?? 3. Our room door has a few inch gap from the wall. It's very easy for anyone to run a card in the door lock and open our room. Also, if someone peaks, someone from the outside could see what we're doing inside. 4. The walls are obviously very thin. We coud hear other quests having drinks in their room and laughing like normal people. It was so hard to sleep with all the noise. 5. Pool is big enough to hold overnight guests and day tour ones. But the water is so unclear, our gopro cannot even capture images from a few feet away. Pool tiles are white and its so easy to see green molds on it. 6. There are guests staying overnight (including us) and would have loved to take a morning dip in the pool. But no. Pool does not open until 9am, which is already pretty late! 7. 2nd night we ordered pancit. It was very sweet! I felt like i was eating dessert! 8. I believe it was the owner because we see her everywhere overseeing everyone. We were eating lunch on our 2nd day when i requested one staff to turn on the electricfan because it was too hot (yes, restaurant area does not have AC). a few minutes later, the owner walked by and changed the direction of the electricfan. THAT WAS SO RUDE. Giving 2 stars because im extra nice today, plus the staff are very friendly. Our disappoitments are mainly on MANAGEMENT and resort RULES. It wasnt one for the books, and we will not visit again.

Nice get-away place for the summer heat but m
The best part is the very accommodating staff. However, they can only do so much. Room is a bit-pricey esp. the family room we stayed in. The extra mattress given to us is way thin, you will feel the floor when you sleep on it. The amenities in the room also needs furbishing. And the food, I wish they can make it more palatable.

Overpriced Place To Stay
Did a recent trip to the Province and had a chance to spend the night at the Buddha Inn and Resorts. Made the reservations via phone. The pricing is deceiving because they charge for 12 or 24 hour rate. The rooms are basic and bare and are extremely overpriced. I checked in around 11am and was told that I needed to check out by 8am the following morning. I raised the question that it was only 21 hours and you are charging an additional p200 per hour if I need to stay longer. Well, if you give me 24 hours as advertised, I will not need the extra two hours. I guess the clerk saw that I was pissed and an hour later the manager saw me and told me that my checkout was changed to 11am with no charge. It should have been that from the start! The rooms have absolutely nothing. Just a bed with two sheets and a cr that does not even have a mirror. No closet, no fridge, no microwave. The tv reception was terrible and the wifi did not work in the room as advertised. The restaurant was ok, but why did you put mayonnaise on my salad in the morning and when I tell you I am allergic to mayonnaise, you just remove the salad but do not give me a fresh one? Overall, the restaurant was the one bright spot as the food was very reasonably priced. I do not like to write negative reports, but nothing really good to say about this place.
