The place is PETMALU. Really perfect, cozy and just so great. We'll definitely go back and still choose cabins by eco-hotel when we go back to Tagaytay.

Room was very clean and the bed was comfy. Will stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay here and loved how they conceptualised the entire hotel. Downside: It’d be much appreciated if there are slippers for the guests to wear.
It was great. comfortable bed. cozy room. garden view is a bliss. There's Blue, the dog which makes it feel more homey. If you're travelling w/o a car you must buy all your necessities for the stay as they don't have cafeteria and no nearby convenience store most specially my stay was during the storm signal no.1

I enjoyed my stay in Cabins. The location is very near to Serin Ayala Malls. If you're planning to ride public transportation to go around Tagaytay it won't be a problem.
Good bed, like how the bed sheets smell!
People are accommodating and nice. Good food and wine
Should have offered other menus on the cafeteria. Foods were also pricey. Overall the rooms and the location (near a mall) is okay. Would still recommend.
The room was really small yet cozy. A small ref would've made the experience better. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
I love everything about this place! Two thumbs up.

"I made a right choice.."
Location wise is great, easy access and you can easily track the hotel because it's along the highway unfortunately they do not have enough parking space. The rooms smells clean and over all my husband likes it small yet comfy to sleep though you can hear people talking outside because we got the room near the reception area. The bathroom smells clean and the water heater works well. Breakfast served is delicious, but few choices. The only cons with this hotel, is you have to deposit 1k per room?? we got 3 rooms actually and thinking what if you do not have enough money?? Over all our stay is still great and we get the chance to relax after eating bulalo. :)

Great value for money
This hotel is great value for your money. Location is great, it is in front of Ayala Mall Serin and beside Pamana restaurant. Check-in was fast, and we were greeted by their cutest staff, Blue :) We got the standard room with city view which is a bit noisy because the room is facing the highway.. The room is quite small, no closet to hang your clothes. I believe this room is good for solo or couple travelers only. The bed is comfy though, and the toilet is very clean. There are no toiletries except for the shampoo/shower gel dispenser. The sink's location is kinda weird though because it is beside the bed. They have free wine every night, from 6:30PM to 7:30PM, however we didn't get the chance to experience it because we were outside during those times. They have water dispensers at the ground floor and 2nd floor, which is free for all guests. They have good breakfast as well, though limited options but flavor is good enough. Plus their coffee is really good. And the ambiance is good as well because it is served at the rooftop with great view. We had a bit of an issue though because there was a cockroach during our stay that freaked the hell out of me. Hope they could resolve their bug problem. But no doubt I will definitely stay here again :)

It's just okay.
To be fair, of course I would like to pinpoint what I like about the hotel. The hotel was charming, located directly in front of Ayala Malls Serin and just beside Pamana restaurant. The hotel is designed as an eco-friendly hotel and they lived up to their word. The fancy wooden walls of the room and the marbled tiles of the bathroom looks nice. Green bottles were used as bulb holders and even the hand soap containers were old glass water bottles too. Overall, aesthetics were nice. The staff at the cafe upstairs (oh, they have no restaurant) were nice. The petite girl was always energetic (we stayed there for 2 nights) so we kind of noticed it. Here comes the criticisms part. Hopefully this reaches the management as this is inclined to further improve their facilities and staff. Okay so first, I booked my trip through booking.com. Booking.com already requires credit card confirmation as this is mandatory. I've booked a couple of accommodations through booking.com and yet Eco Hotel required me to send a separate credit card authorization letter for them to be able to charge us of the booking. Okay I get this but first - I am concerned about the security of the card as they required both the numbers in front and back. Also, this is additional effort and hassle from the customer part. Okay then this passed - we badly needed a "staycation" so we just sent their requirement and thinking that they were already able to acknowledge it since they asked if I will be staying (because the card holder is my companion) - I told them, we are both staying. After that - no emails - not until it was the day before our booking! They sent us an email saying that if we have no bank/online transfer, our booking will automatically be cancelled. Of course, initially I was annoyed - what happened to the conversation we had the week before? So then I sent out few emails asking what happened to our conversation that week. Then afterwards they responded that they were confused as to who will be staying - is it me or the other person - because I was the one who booked through booking.com however the card holder is the person who will be with me during the trip. So I said it again - we are both staying at the hotel. There was an apology, I appreciate that but sad to say I wasn't expecting anymore about Eco Hotel. 2 of my friends who stayed at the hotel told me that this was a really nice hotel, everything is perfect and the staff were great, but I wasn't expecting anymore. After arriving, it was okay - no complimentary wine was given (I don't want to ask them directly - "Can you give us the complimentary wine?" this should be asked I believe by them, as part of good customer service. We were placed in Room 3 - few steps away from the reception desk. Okay, the room was nice, sheets were clean. However around 12 midnight we heard people talking! It was the receptionist and the guard. The noise was not so loud but then what if the guests are highly sensitive to noise? So I asked them to tone down their voice and they complied - but we constantly hear guests coming in and out asking for toiletries and asking for questions and stuff liked that - so we asked for an upgrade the next day - lakeview room. The next day, we asked for the lake view room, they were able to agree for the upgrade and paid for the excess amount. However after 30 minutes, they knocked again, saying that the last lake view room was out of order. They offered another garden view room, Room 14. It was okay - however at night time I can clearly hear the noise from the vehicles outside. Omg, what more for the people beside our room who is directly facing the street? The windows are just plain glass and not even soundproofed. Since my companion needs to use to the wifi, she sat outside and later on found out that there were people who checked in on the room wherein they told us that it was "out of order"! I'm confused with the inconsistency and reasons that we were being told during our entire stay. Okay - overall it was good but we expected more from this hotel. I think staff needs more training, they look as if they were saying something different but their eyes mean another. Breakfast needs to be improved. How can it be the same beef tapa or daing na bangus for 2 consecutive days? Internet needs to be improved. Strategically place the wifi routers at some areas and not just one area.

So the rooms are small but pleasant and the staff are friendly. However, I really wish we hadnt stayed here. When we first arrived, we were given a room. When we went to the room, there were insects in the bed. Beatles and some sort of mites? When I explained this to the receptionist we were quickly moved to another room although there was no apology given. The second room seemed better, however on the second night it became apparent the window sills weren't sealed properly as we found a trail of ants over our bed coming from a small hole in the window sill. Also that day, the dog (who is quite cute to be fair) weed on the floor near our room, and instead of this being cleaned up, some paper was just placed over it and it was left this way for the whole day. I didn't mind the size of the rooms too much but lack of storage space made it become cluttered very quickly and there was only one towel provided. All in all I think the staff were kind and accommodating but if you're going to have a hotel with a garden so rich in wildlife, you have to seal the windows and use some sort of insecticide. I got almost no sleep the second night for fear of insects crawling over me. I would not stay here again.

Small but comfortable enough
We stayed in a lake view room (considerably more expensive) but you can always enjoy the view from the rooftop which is free for everyone to go. The bed is small so tall travelers may have a problem. The toilet does not have a ventilation fan..... Breakfast is nice but their coffee sucks. Very nice that they have water dispenser in the lobby and common area. We stayed in three hotels in our trip to the Philippines and this is the only one that provides free drinking water. The hotel is directly opposite a shopping mall with lots of food options.
