Everything was great except for the smell inside our room.
More food stalls inside the resort.
It's really relaxing. Wonderful view. A home away from home.
The facilities are clean, our room is bigger than we expect, very accommodating.
Not as great as it used to be, room items are incomplete. tried to call hotel service to replace busted light but no one came.
Everything was great except the room when we arrive not set up toilet was dirty lot of hair on the floor, beady for toilet was licking. We call and request to clean but no one show up in the next morning I went to the reception Jeun the receptionist was very helpful he send a housekeeping to set up our room and someone who fixed the licking water. The rest of our stay was very good the food was great thank you for food and beverage manager and the team. Big thanks to Jeun and Michel in housekeeping department.
My husband and I had a great time in Canyon Cove. Thank you so much for a wonderful service.
It's was amazing experience with my boyfriend from the staff in front desk, very approachable, big thanks to him and also to the food and drink manager and the housekeeper.
It was a nice stay. Pool was a bit dirty due to a lot of guests though. Appreciate if outside food can be brought as the choices in the restaurant is limited, lots of items in their menu was not available. But nevertheless, it was fun.
Almost perfect. My son really love the beach and the pool.

Poor Service, Need a Renovation
Place & Facility is good & nice. Good to stay forl a long weekend. Room Service? Too POOR. Request for a bucket of ice, it took 1-1/2 hrs to deliver to our room. We followed up many times, but maybe the operator in the kitchen don't relay immediately the info. Next day we ask to deliver some plates to our room, took 2-1/2 hrs! That's unacceptable! So we just decided to buy outside for a disposable plates. We had our lunch already, plates never came. Until we followed up again, then that was the time they deliver. But no use already. We're done eating..Need also a renovation. Toilet bowls is yellowish. Not that clean. Too may ants. Towels, color dirty white. They need to change it over used already. We ordered toilet tissue, until we checked out never came! That's how bad service is. One advice, if u wanna order, please call 3hrs ahead fro the time. Food? Expensive. Staff? Good Price? Fair.

Everything but the food...
It was a Holy Week getaway with the gang. we got around 5 rooms. parking space is good. check in was of course a bit slow because it was peak season. but the very nice front desk people made the wait bearable. i must say that their standard rooms are impressive. beds are big, not soft, but good enough. the toilets are spacious. there's a veranda in every room so you have a great view of the beach. I think all rooms are facing the beach. there is a tv in the room, but with bad cable reception. but then again, i didn't really need it. I love their extra beds. it is fixed into a small square area in the room. I call it the kids bed. it is bordered by 3 walls so there is only one way to access it. which makes it quite safe for small kids and even babies. but it is big enough for two adults to fit in comfortably. the pool is big and just the right depth at around 5ft. I think it's also heated as the water is very relaxing in the evening. the baby pool is also big enough for a lot of kids. the beach area is long. there are lots of cabanas that you can use for free (first come, first served though). the water is clean and there are some corals which is nice for some snorkeling activity. we brought some bread so we were able to have some fish feeding action. also they placed some wave breakers out front which added to the safety of the swimming area. we did not try the inflatable play area, the price seems reasonable. they could maybe try to make it bigger. cannot be compared to the one in Subic yet. The restaurant was located at the lower ground area. We thought that they were still in partnership with a popular local chicken restaurant. so we were thinking that the food will be good. unfortunately, they already ended their partnership. so... the chicken was not really good. the binagoongan was served cold. like it just came from the ref. so obviously it was not cooked on the day. the bulalo was disappointing at around P500. it contained only a few pieces of beef. not bigger than a man's fist in total. so for 6 people, it means only a small finger-sized portion for each. they even have a surcharge for room service! i think it's 25% on top of the regular food price in the restaurant. breakfast is served ala carte. which is generously portioned (doesn't look appetizing though). but we chose to upgrade our breakfast, so we went to the executive lounge. which serves buffet breakfast. comfortable and not crowded. I really recommend doing this! we actually ended up going out of the resort to have lunch & dinner. which is a lot better and cheaper. the saving grace from the food experience was the very accommodating restaurant staff. actually everyone in the resort was very accommodating. even the security guards! will we come back? yes we will! but hopefully the food becomes better, otherwise we will have to go out of the resort again to visit the Bee & the Clown for lunch & dinner

Location & surroundings are beautiful BUT a big BUT......
The staff are all friendly and accommodating BUT : - ROOM : when we arrived the door was open. They said it was bcoz they made a final check if everything was ok, but it was not & a lot of the amenities were missing so we had to call the reception again&again. Towels, bathrobes, toilet paper, mineral water were missing. Garbage bin was not emptied. The toilet was not flushing :-(. The pipes were leaking under the lavabo resulting in wet floor all the time. - RESTAURANT : the food served was nice, however the waiting time was terrible!! After ordering, you have to calculate MINIMUM 30mins before your food is served. Once it even took 50mins before an extra 2 cups of rice to come!! Their breakfast is always not served complete (for example, fruits is missing or not available or they would serve over riped fruits!). The restaurant staff have to be more attentive in cleaning and clearing the tables immediately after the previous guests leave. One always enters in the restaurant seeing tables that are not cleared out and cleaned. Summary : the Hotel needs a lot of renovation especially in the rooms. Air conditions are noisy too. The BEACH and pool and the garden were well maintained and very nice.

Great pool and beach, 1/2 a day from Metro Manila
Well, being that this was going to be my first trip to Philippines from USA to meet my girlfriend, I let her choose some fun and interesting places we could visit while I was there. Canyon Cove was the first stop on my Philippine adventure, and me, me Pinay GF, and 6 members of her family all packed into a big SUV, and her brother expertly navigated us to the resort after a 4 hour drive. (All her brothers drive jeepneys for a living) I'll start with the positive elements of our trip. The beach is very clean and nice and we spent a lot of time in the water there. We didn't go Island Hopping, or sailing, but it was still nice. The pool was definitely a highlight of the resort It's huge, and creatively designed with palm trees all around, and we used it a lot. It was very spectacular in the evening, but light off - everyone out seemed to happen too soon every night. I my future niece loved swimming and posing for photos, and the deck-side furniture was nice, but they could use a few more pieces, because they get commandeered fast. The bar in the resort was pretty nice. It had views of the beach and ocean and pool, and the bartenders kept up with all of our orders pretty well. So that was fun, and we all went to bed happy and pretty buzzed lol. Now for the not so good stuff: This resort has a strict "No outside food allowed policy" We were so nervous sneaking in a few bags of snacks past the security guard, who counts the number of people in your vehicle and issues a pass that must be shown upon check-in. Phew we made past that point, we had to wait a while to check-in for some reason, and when it was our turn, It was quickly discovered that the 2 rooms I had booked with extra cots were not next to each other, even though I had requested that in making the reservation. My GF said since you're an American they will listen to you more than us, and I tried my best poker and negotiating skills on them, but I kept getting stonewalled with my request. Now mind you, I did not reserve these rooms with the popular Metrodeals, but paid full price., luckily our rooms were on opposite ends of a corner bend and we could go out on our mini-decks and talk to each other about 15 feet apart. Other inexcusable issue. No free Wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby area. Well, forget that, I just used my data to check things online, but still. The best (or worst) part of the dinner experience was that since we were a group of 8 people, we thought the standard servings wouldn't be enough, so I paid extra for a full roast chicken. They brought out a mini-chicken about 1/4 the size of a normal chicken. It's a family joke now. When we need a good laugh, someone will mention the mini-chicken at Canyon Cove. Overall, our rooms were pretty nice, not super modern, but not filthy as some other reviewers here have stated. And it was still a great family bonding experience that allowed me to get introduced to my future Fiancees family. And it was my first time in the South China Sea, which is in the news practically every day here in USA over China's expansionist desires.

It was a kinda frustrating stay..
Too bad we came with such a bad timing - a tropical storm ended up being a typhoon hence it was raining all the time and we were not able to explore the beach and the pool.. Food was so..so.. since it was raining we ended up having a dinner in the resort and 75% of what's in the menu is not available.. same with the fruit shakes... so it was really not our day.. We went to the bar after dinner and they also don't have frozen margarita - they don't have. Blender I was told.. Morning came, our check out day.. despite of having the "do not disturb" sign on our door - there was a very loud knock on the door - when we opened it, we were told he wants to check the bloody mini bar!!! He just basically disturbed us in our sleep..no apologies was extended either

Greetings from Canyon Woods Resort Club & Homeowners Association!

We would like to inform you, that, the re-opening of one lane of the bridge
to light vehicles before Christmas

which was scheduled by DPWH will not materialize. The rain has hampered and
delayed the rehabilitation works.

They are also considering the application of a "new technology" (erecting
metal / PVC 'Sheet Piles'), In order to

apply this technology ,there is a need to re-design the rehab plan.

We would also like to take this opportunity to inform you, that we are
continually coordinating and requesting the

Project Engineer for a weekly update on the progress of their work. We have
also sent letters and made

representations to the DPWH Secretary to open a portion of the bridge and
pleaded to expedite its' construction, as soon as, humanely possible.
