Its rich, savory broth is perfect for the cooler climate. Many local carinderias and restaurants in Tagaytay and nearby towns like Laurel serve excellent versions of this classic dish.

Another local favorite is Sinigang, a sour and savory soup, typically made with pork, fish, or shrimp, and flavored with tamarind, guava, or other souring agents. This is so unacceptable. I felt really bad with their people in resto . I felt the stereotype that their sending to me and to my husband. I came straightly from US to rest with my husband but the service was really bad . Always unattended by the server, sending us like a trainee crew with no knowledge on the menu and worse is shes kind of rude talking with my husband . Raising your one eyebrow because he was just asking regarding on your fish fillet if theres a shellfish allergy on that. WTH? . Even their recreational facilities are damned neglected. Probably not coming back here . We love to travel but this is definitely one of the worst service I ever had.

Location - just search using your navigating app. Not sure if it’s accessible via PUV so I suggest you bring your own car for your convenience. No need to worry about the parkingsince there are many available slots and its for free. Room - is okay. - it is clean. Bathroom essentials are provided. (Shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, bath gel, soap, towels, heater & blower) - has a small ref with 2 bottled water and 2 cofee sticks - mug, drinking, wine glasses (for 2) as well as electric water kettle are available - no microwave as outside food is prohibited. (But snacks is allowed I assume since hotel attendant didn’t bother to check our bags and resto is not 24/7) Facilities - are not well maintained. We were able to walk around. Will give 5/10 as it looks like a ghost town to me. Lots of mosquitoes and insects especially around the lake and out door pool. Team building facilities and playground is dirty. We noticed the hanging bridge signages but since the area is murky, I don’t think it is safe and is longer passable. NOTE: You can bring your car should you wish go around especially if you hate sweating LOL Food - is okay as well but not superB. Restaurant/Cafe is not 24/7 so I advise you bring your OTG food for emergency lol The only thing we enjoyed in their facilities is their indoor heated pool and jacuzzi. Was able to use them for free. Only paid 50 pesos for the hair cap rental. Towels are provided as well though the temperature is a bit low (per hotel staff, they are turning the heater off after weekend). Good thing it was Monday. We were still able to enjoy the water temp. Hotel Staffs - are accommodating and courteous. Our overall stay is okay but not awesome. (Not in the option though so I selected unsatisfying) :D

I was requesting for something and they wasn’t able to give it, they didn’t even inform me that they won’t be able to provide me the thing that I requested. I requested for a bottle opener so I had to go to their restaurant plus the one bed that I requested wasn’t granted as well, they gave me 2 single beds because they said all the room was fully booked plus they let me enter the room at 3pm without even adjusting my check out time.

The check in schedule we book here at app stated 2:00 pm but the front desk at canyon woods insisted that it should be 3:00 pm. Not only that we order bottled water that took an hour to be delivered with a numerous follow up over the phone. Their bar and restaurant is not 24 hours service. Billiards table condition is not good at all and the air conditionting at the gaming area are worst. Often electricity power interruption during our stay.

We spent our New Year’s day here. Me and my family had amazing stay. I booked for overnight only and I can say we had so much fun. My kids love to swim in the indoor pool, we tried also the outdoor pool and it was so freaking cold but so refreshing. We will definitely go back here for 2-3nights stay. Thank you traveloka and canyon woods for such an amazing experience. ❤️

Satellite TV is present. And overall room stay is great. Just don't use waze when going. The resort did not place adequate signage going to the place and you will be really lost when going there

Myself and my family enjoyed our two night stay in the hotel. There are lots of things to do because there are wide range of facilities and amenities available. You will not need to go outside, you will have more than what you need at the resort.

I had the best staycation here at canyon woods! We've been to the canyon cove last year because she has a beach but compared to the service of all the staff here at canyon woods is superb! 👍 from the entrance to the guards who assists and dun the lobby and also to the staff at the coffee shop super bait! We went there as if we were just people because it was a sunday so people left like we were in the place so they didn't have much staff but they were still so accommodating! That's our favorite place to stay. The place is so good. The ambiance of the hotel. The view from the coffee shop. Very comfortable room. No more wifi or netflix but its okay to appreciate the view just outside of the hotel. Good for staycation really. We booked on the same day that we spent quite a bit because it was so lucky to have Traveloka. Thanks!

The room is clean and spacious though there was no provided wifi. But if you would like to have a solitude it is a great place to check in and stay. Food is good as well and reasonably priced. All in all it is a satisfying stay.

During our stay we did not see any other guest at The Peak, although there's this one group that eats same time with us (breakfast and dinner). Their amenities are old, that really needs renovation!! Everything badly needs renovation. Its like a ghost town at night. The room and complimentary are excellent. Its clean and organize. Their staff are very accommodating. Note: l left some clothes in our room but no staff give me a notice about it, maybe the next guest will find it.

They said there's a shuttle from the entrance to the hotel lobby since it is too far for those who doesn't have a car with them unfortunately nothing came when we waited for about 30 mins. Our time was wasted in waiting.

Very expensive food, not yet delicious. Even the drinks 1bottle of can soda will cost 150 pesos😡. no other options restuarant if they are not their restuarant. too far away from some other convenience store. no ATM nearby. The only free breakfast platter, the choice sardines or pure mushroom tosino my god, can be enjoyed. we will not repeat.
