Excellent friendly and good value option for Sabang.
Capt'n Greggs is right on the water, a two minute walk from the pier. A very friendly, laid back and chilled establishment with a great wooden balcony restaurant overlooking the sea. Rooms are comfortable and very good value for Sabang. The wooden restaurant/bar on a large balcony overlooking the water serves very generous portions with an extensive international and Filipino menu. The house "Gin Juice" is nectar of the gods and needs to be tried. Capt'n Greggs is Sabang's oldest dive shop, situated downstairs. It's also the home of the Puerto Galera Hash House Harriers.

Restaurant review
Went for dinner with friends on our first day in Sabang. Friend suggested this place as she is more familiar with the establishments in the area having visited several times. It was one of those warm and humid nights and the grilling station placed in the dining area did not make the room any more comfy. Tip: try cross ventilation. Friend and I shared 1 order of the barbecued spare ribs (P650) which was big enough for two. It had sides of peas, potato, onion, slice of squash which was served just a few minutes earlier than the ribs. Taste was okay, tender enough. Another friend ordered grilled steak and it was also good. A side dish of German style potato salad and other sides were available at the station. This place would be perfect for carnivores as they offer a wide range of meat dishes decent enough to serve even foreign guests as suggested by a couple of my friends from Denmark and Norway. Value for money is good especially for foreigners. Average meal per person, P450.

Fantastic Value
The place is a 5-min walk from Sabang port so you can easily find it. There also tons of good food places nearby and the place itself has a good restobar. Bedrooms and bathrooms are big enough. The bed is queen-sized. There's AC and there's also fan inside the room. There's TV and a minibar. There is also free wifi. I'm not sure for others but we got free breakfast too. Pick a room upstairs as it has better view. PS. I'm not sure if it's Sabang as a whole but there's like a daily brownout of 1-hr each day.

Perfect
Fantastic value for money, request the top floor with a view the climb up the stairs is worth the effort. Food is generous and value, beer is cold and flowing. Comments about water are true but wait a few minutes and it recovers. Waiting is an important local custom. If you do not get the top floor go to the roof and enjoy.

Nice play to stay but no water in the bathroom
We stayed one night there. The place was nice at a reasonable price (2000 pesos = 40 euros per night). Nice view on the beach at the last floor with balcony. The bed was good, the air conditioning ok. The shower was working when we arrived but there was no water the next day. I dived with them. The dive was OK but the local dive master did not care so much about me. He did not really show me the hidden fishes in the reefs. I had air blocked in my inflatable vest. So I was struggling to stay down. I know I did not tell him my problem during the dive but he did not notice it either and did not help me to solve the problem. The next day I dived at Blue Ribbon and the dive master was much more mindful. The dive was 1400 pesos = 27 euros
