- Romantic Vacation
A perfect place for a quick getaway. The infinity pool view is awesome. Overlooks taal. A great place for relaxation.

Honestly, I was a bit skeptical in booking a room here at first because of some of the bad reviews I've read, however there are some good ones as well, plus looking at the pictures of the view of "the" Taal Lake you will get to enjoy and their infinity pool, you just really need to follow your guts and come see for yourself. Yes, fair enough, place is not too new, their not boasting about that. Bit pricey as well, however, all of their room rates come with complimentary Filipino breakfast (their Kapeng Barako was liked and approved by my 100% Batangueño husband :) ). We stayed in room no.1, I think that was their Deluxe Queen Room (the Superior Queen Room was my other option) I chose this because it was near the pool area. Day prior to our visit, I called their office to specifically request for our room to be cleaned thoroughly - yes, because of the reviews I've read concerning cleanliness, Ms.Rose, the one I spoke to politely told me that they will make sure of it, and guess what, when we arrived, the room was clean and sweet smelling. I don't want to exaggerate, it wasn't spotless at all, but it was a passing mark for me. Shower room and toilet, yes with molds here and there, might need more attention in cleaning, it was bearable. No soap holder. But the toilet bowl comes with a smart bidet! How about that? And there's a hand-held one too. Now the view - photos didn't lie, it was there in all its glory, Taal Lake and the rest of it with the resting volcano, simply relaxing, something about looking at it will instantly provide the calming effect. :) The pool - cold water, no heater, but great! It was also clean when we get there, so no complaints. Even my 1 year old boy get to enjoy it in a 20 degree Celcius weather. Plus, there's a cute little sauna just an arms reach beside the pool, when you can no longer stand the cold. Food - bit pricey. So we had our meals elsewhere (lunch - we already had our lunch before we checked-in and dinner - we drove out), but our complimentary breakfasts tasted just fine, enough to satisfy our tastebuds, remember the coffee I mentioned earlier? I repeat, the place is not NEW, not a 5-star, nor 4-star not even 3-star hotel, they call themselves Bed and Breakfast, so manage your expectations. Road going there from the highway is a bit challenging if you're a novice driver, so take extra precaution, steep with few zigzags (think Baguio) especially during night because of lack of lamp posts and it can get really foggy.

The room looked well maintained. The bed and pillows were the best. Cable channels were readily available. Could improve as well since it was classified as a king suite so I was looking for coffee in the room. Could also use some additional power outlets.
