The view was great. But I am dissappointed with our room.
The ambiance is so good. Though there is no service phone inside the room and you have to go down from time to time if you need something. Staff are all approachable.
- Really love the view. Though there were cacroaches inside the room. Also, not enough toiletries (e.g. no tissue available) - Food is bad and very few options from the menu - Staff are nice
Casa alegria was a superb experience, all staff are very accommodating and smiling at you all the time most specially ms. melody and nanay (forgot the name the one who cook food for us she gave me daing her personal food thank you! ) they make us feel very at home. The view takes our breath away, definitely will go back here! I really love the place, next time we will bring a lots of food because food on the menu list are limited most of it is out of stock but still okay because they provide us service when we go out for market.
Satisfied and hopefully to stay there again in the future. Thanks casa alegria.
I would rate the room as 5-star. We stayed in room 6 and 7 and both are overlooking Taal Lake. The view is amazing. This hotel is perfect for romantic vacation or team building. All staffs were friendly too. One minor concern though, their WiFi is very slow.
We arrived late at night around 10 pm, everyone is asleep and there’s only guard on duty, he bring us to the room and the room we’re expecting is not the one on the photo. We asked for the room upgrade for a fee and waited for one hour to transfer. Casa Alegria have a very nice view of Taal, where you can relax and have total privacy, they have good infinity pool. Not advisable to check in late at night.
Perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing leisure. Great place for tourists who live in the city.
This place reminds me on how lucky I am to be a person and living in a world with so many reasons like staying at casa algeria was so great!
Everything is good there actually but the food limited.

Birthday in Tagaytay
Casa Bed & Breakfast Review: Read a lot of reviews regarding this B&B, at first, I was honestly scared to push through this staycation. However, its my husband’s birthday and its already paid. Like last year, we decided to go for a staycation to celebrate my husband’s birthday, its the 1st of November so we expect less hotel guests. Unlike last year, we decided to go for a long drive, from MMNL to Tagaytay. This B&B caught our attention first since its cheaper than the other hotels in Tagaytay, plus, the view was breathtaking, with all my excitement, I logged in my Agoda account and book the place. After booking that’s the only time I decided to read the reviews and I was shocked with all the negative comments, so I decided to write my review to compare to other comments, let me break it down: 1. Water - THERE IS WATER, its not the normal water flow, but there is water people. 2. It is true that they only serve breakfast - real joke there since its Bed and Breakfast hahaha. It is best to have snacks and diner food with you since the place is veri secluded, unless you want to drive right back to city proper. 3. There’s actually free soap and shampoo not sure why there are reviews complaining of getting only 2 free toothbrush, soap and shampoo. Pack your stuff people. And there were clean towels mind you. 4. Its true though that the place is way out of date, major renovation is needed, though the old country style charm is a plus points for me. 5. The staff are limited but very ATTENTIVE and friendly. Maybe I got lucky with the staff they have right now since all of my requests were provided easily and very fast. 6. The pool was CLEAN. Seriously, that’s the first thing I checked since my twins are going for a swim, it is clean. 7. The view, well like all other reviews its a plus plus points. Really nice view, we were literary just staring at Taal Lake like forever. 8. Taste of food and price - the price was higher than what you get, but it served really quick. They do need a lot of breakfast variations, we only got a tapa and longganisa as our breakfast choice. 9. We were booked at Room 1, came in early than the checked in time (2pm) was escorted to our room like less than 10 minutes. Our room was decent though again the smell was like my grandparent’s unused rooms, hahaha. I don’t mind the out dated cabinets though as long as they’re clean and I can store my stuff. 10. There were quite a number of mosquitoes so you might want to pack insect repelent. All in all pur experience was really great, the staff are very friendly and very conversational, not the usual hi, hello and good mornings, they tried their best to put a conversation especially when we were waiting. I’d recommend this place for those who’d like a relaxing day and away from busy streets.

If there is a rating of NO STAR, Id gladly choose that. The photos are too good to be true. I went with my husband, 4 children ages 14,11,4 and 3. We checked in at 730PM and we were welcomed with a surprise that theres no water in our room. They tried fixing it for about 2hours to no avail. I went to follow up and found them sitting right it the not so clean dining, Ive asked the people there that we badly needed water to use. So they provided us with a large water container and a water dipper. We finally had the water supply around 12:45AM. Imagine a very late check in for what we have paid and been supplied with water half a day of our reservation. We ordered food and guess what, the menu is useless as everything else in there is out of stock for the reason that they said "di pa po nakakapamili". SO we ate a soury tapa, we had to ask for catsup and vinegar, theres no drinking water we needed to request and order it. We have requested extra beds who were delivered in their dirtiest condition. The following morning we planned of getting the kids a good sun and a little swim. The pool area is filled with guests who are mixed of adults and children, with their parents drinking alcohol just right were the common area is EARLY IN THE MORNING. We ordered breakfast and just tried to swallow the environment as we are leaving anyway, the food in the menu is still the same, they offered longganisa because tapa is no longer available, left with no choice we agreed. The food arrived almost an hour, with cold fried egg and longganisa that tasted like it has expired already. Again we requested something to drink, the coffee wont even pass through my throat, no milk no creamer. I got really pissed off and told them I need that creamer in our coffee, they told us to wait as they need to buy from a sari sari store. Imagine that?! I was expecting that our short stay in Tagaytay would be something relaxing but it was A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE! The bath tub that we were told to limit the usage of water as they have short supply, floods inside the bathroom from a hole somewhere at the bottom of it even it cant be filled. There came the bill as we checked out, we were charged with Mango Juices we NEVER ordered, the extra beds that cost us Php1947 if Im not mistaken which I thought would be a compensation at least for all the hassle and tragic experience of our shortest stay but NO! I told the acting Manager in a nice way that we shall at least get something in return as complimentary even just a little after all what happened but he STRONGLY SAID NO! Money is not an issue, but Casa Alegria is too greedy for the ROTTEN TRYING HARD HOTEL/VILLA they are managing. IF the rain wasnt pouring hard, we could have gone home and never checked in at all! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! THE WORST OF THE WORST PLACE TO BE! SUCH A NIGHTMARE AND TRAGEDY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poor service!
Although the view from the pool was definitely a thumbs up, however, we were still disappointed of the other facilites and how the staff treated us. One of which was our room, the lights in one area, the TV, and the sink were all not working. The shower as well has poor water pressure. We have reported it several times, but they did not pay attention with our concerns. Imagine the hassle it caused us, a dim room with no TV and has a poor water supply for a 4K price in 1 night! The location also has its downside, steep road and has insufficient parking area. We will not book this again, if not for its picturesque view.

perfect place!
It's an overwhelming place with a unique size of the swimming pool. With overlooking view of Mt. Taal. The place is very well designed for travelers who really want to escape a crowded-polluted place like (Manila).

This hotel enticed me while searching for places to stay in Tagaytay. I checked the location map, it is far from the hi-way giving me an impression of tranquil nature experience. I WAS WRONG. The room assigned to us is at the old side of the property neighboring the new building where the infinity pool is positioned. It’s a spacious room with glass front walls. I discovered that the layout is intended to be a front office eventually converted into a guest room. Place is not as clean as what is presented in the website images. The glass door is similar to a typical establishment entrance that can only be locked at the floor. It was disappointing but we are left with no choice since all the other rooms were full. We initially opted to dine outside but the weather disagreed. The hotel is situated along the zigzag road leading to Talisay Batangas, almost at exact blind curve making it unsafe for rainy night drive. Food is bad and expensive. Dusts and mosquitoes are all over the dining area. I appreciate the efficiency of the staff but it really felt like I wasted time and money.
