Traditional house with lots of character
This hotel has a small number of rooms of great character. The decor is original and the furniture is old. It is very pleasing and we were told that people often hold weddings here. The front reception lady was very nice and helpful. She both sorted out the Internet and explained about breakfast. The cleaning lady said that her son saw me drop a 20 Peso note and she offered me the money. I told her to give it to her son. It is very good to find such honest people in an area where many do not have large amounts of cash. The breakfast was pleasant and served in rather grand surroundings. The bedroom was fine: good bed and very quite air conditioning. He took a taxi to Ayala Mall [really quite close] and had evening meal there as the hotel does not do food at night. Overall a good experience:clean, honest and nice surrounds. We would go back.

Old world charm in the heart of a rapidly growing city
Cebu has seen a lot of change and development over the years, and there's been no shortage of big modern shiny glass-and-marble hotels popping up over the years. As such it's nice to find a place that's a little more classic, a little closer to Cebu's roots. The "hotel" is really more of a bed & breakfast, a four-room affair set in an old Spanish-style house. Though the house itself is older, it has clearly been renovated as it has all new fixtures (I'm pretty sure they didn't have Panasonic air conditioners in the 40s). As with Marvin's stay, I pretty much had the place all to myself. Definitely a nice perk, as you're basically winding up with an entire home for peanuts. Between that and the old world feel, this place is a peaceful oasis in the center of Cebu, which can get pretty chaotic. I can also confirm the lack of a restaurant. Breakfast is served in the mornings but beyond that you're on your own for meals. Luckily there are a few restaurants nearby, and a local service delivers food from restaurants that don't do it themselves. Highly recommended. For the location, the amenities, and the service, it's a bargain at twice the price.

Character House
Just like home, serene, four classic yet elegant rooms are available... Our stay was fun coz we were the only guests that evening:) You will have to go to a nearby eatery or fastfood coz they don't have a restaurant though taxi's are readily parked outside. I like their bed, linens, pillows... Ellegant :) A feeling of being brought to the olden times made this place adorable to me, I suggest that guests book earlier .
