Great weekend escape
My partner and I travelled to Taytay for the weekend from Puerto Princesa City. Casa Rosa was recommended to me by one of my colleagues and it did not disappoint. We stayed in the room closest to the restaurant. It was a decent-sized room with a double bed, private bathroom and ceiling fan. Not fancy, but perfect to sleep comfortably. We loved dining at the restaurant. The food is great and the view is spectacular. We ate all of our meals there. Casa Rosa offers several tours for their guests. Egie will likely be your guide. He's super helpful and genuinely wants his guests to enjoy themselves. We went on the island hopping tour. Much quieter than tours in El Nido and Honda Bay. Egie let us know that a new snorkelling spot at a nearby fish sanctuary might be open to the public soon. Be sure to ask if it's included in the island hopping tour - it sounds magical. Fort Santa Isabel was the main draw card to Taytay for us. It was only 5 minutes walk away hill from Casa Rosa.

Best place ever!
Beautiful nice little houses overlooking the bay of Taytay and the sea. The restaurant has great options, the owner is an amazing cook. And her family is in and around this place ensuring a great experience. Must do is the island hoping, best one we ever did!

Taytay Palawan's glory recreated
I stayed here thrice already and each time the place exudes the same exceptional service and facilities combined! Food is fantastic, view is matchless and service is like Home! Sheets are clean, i couldn't say more. By far- this is the best place to stay when in Taytay Palawan!

Nice place, cheap and beautiful
We stayed 2 nights in Casa Rosa, and we had a nice experience. We had one of the double rooms; it was clean and the bed was big and very confortable. We had private bathroom in the room, with a big shower. We didn't have the adapter for the electricity and the workers kindly found one for us, for free. It is not expensive for the quality. The have a restaurant inside the hotel, but the prices are a little bit high comparing with another restaurants in the area. The view from the reception/restaurant was the best! It is located downtown, in front of the main highlight of the city, in a very calm area. We recomend it!

Generally a good place.
We stayed two nights in Casa Rosa. The place is clean and tidy and there is an efficiency that we found lacking in many places we stayed over three weeks in Palawan. Check in was fine though we had to wait till 1.30 which was fair enough. On the first night we stayed in one of the big room cottages and this was lovely. The room was large and there were nice seating areas in the room and on the terrace outside. The bathroom was dated but clean. We had to move to a standard room the next night. This was small and quite dark and a lot less desirable than the cottage. It was clean but basic and no dedicated outside seating area. There was a concreted area outside but you could find somewhere nicer up by the restaurant. There is no view. The basic rooms are also close to the kitchens and restaurant. Not really a problem other than one young group stayed in the restaurant area till gone midnight and were very noisy. There is no doubt in our mind that the cottage is well worth the extra money and is better value by a margin. The restaurant in well set out and a great view over the fort and sea. Food was ok but rather uninspiring. The boat trip to the islands was excellent and we thought rather undersold by Casa Rosa. You visit their private island with good coral and a brilliant lagoon later in the day. Perhaps our biggest sorrow was that in a nice accomodation there was an absence of smiles and genuine interest and enthusiasm from the staff. On check out we asked if they could get us a tricycle to the terminal. We were told there were plenty down on the road. Shame that this a bit summed up the staf who while efficient enough lacked warmth, humour or interest. Still the best option we saw in Taytay which is well worth a visit.
