Stayed there for 2 nights and it was nice. We loved the swimming pool while enjoyed the sunset view. Would come back again.
The food was tasty with affordable price. Good service from all the staff. Thanks!
What I liked the most is the swimming area in Cavanico. It's good to hang out and relaxing.
A whole experience was great in Cavanico. The pool was awesome, it's clean and well-maintained. Loved it!
Overall, it's nice place to relax. Clean and well-kept surrounding and the beach is also nearby.
Fantastic pool, friendly staff, and delicious food. Overall, we had an amazing short stay.

Not such a gem!
Well having viewed their facebook page it was enough to convince me and the wife to go along as it was a short journey for us. Upon arrival all looked nice friendly staff at reception 250 peso per adult which we thought was a bit much, anyway after paying we went in and it looked real nice clean well presented pools all land scaped and then it all went wrong. We went for a stroll through the rest of tje resort having seen a lovely beech on fb and guess what it was none existant it was pretty poor and habing paid such a higj entrance fee i felt like i had been robbed. There were lots of wooden parssoles free to use but biting ants and mosquitos made it quite unpleasant not very clean and drinks and food expensive also water sports way over the top.they have over night accomadation also expensive heard locals complaining that air con didnt work amd also toilets, so was really very dissapointed that we went and will definatly will mot ne going back.

Escape from the city
This place is worth to visit, but don't expect too much. The price is very reasonable especially for groups. From food, accommodations, even the activity fees like kayaking, scuba diving, etc. It was like a paradise for everyone. I love how the rooms are made, very local. Here's some of my side comments during our trip: Front desk agents are not that much approachable and accommodating. Waited for almost an hour for the keys but it's fine because the place is good. (room is ready but they lost the key itself and trying to find the duplicate). I think the agents need to improve their communication skills especially the tone of their voice when talking especially to the guests. The kino's bar is really good, everyone was very attentive and always smiling. Every requests was granted. Overall, it was a good experience.

Feels like you're in a high-end resort for a very affordable price!
We opted this place and Punta del sol to celebrate our 5th anniversary. We stayed overnight in a bamboo room. Php2,200 for two. The Room The room was small but nice. It has a veranda-type of space outside the door where we hung out and chill out for a bit, and also used the space to hang our wet swimming clothes. Somehow the design of the room and CR is a bit off. Shower facing the door? The socket a bit far from the electrical appliances like the tv and electric fan. Small issues nevertheless. I quite liked the room. The Beach The beach was nice, too. Looks like a massive pool. However in the areas near the platforms, the water can be quite itchy. On the deeper waters it wasnt itchy at all. However, far from the beach, there were lots of what looked like sea snakes, but we were told that they only stay on the sand and are not venomous. Still creepy at first. In the end i totally disregarded them and swam as much as I could 😂 Tide can be very low or very high. I loved the design of the space wherein everything is designed to be just above the water when the tide is at its highest. Haha. I was afraid that the restaurant will be hit by water. But it didnt! Whoo. The mangrove area is perfect for your photo ops 😎 The entire beach area is fenced with net over the edges that keeps floating garbage at bay. Amenities Their pool is epic. The lights change almost every second. So beautiful at night. They also have a jacuzzi that is so amazing, overlooking Davao City lights at night. Super romantic. Their cottages are amazing as well. The designs are high-end. Bar and restaurant are nice as well. Kainis lang yung pianista nila na biased when it comes to choosing the next song. He doesnt mind requests of other guests, only those of the tables that seemed to be the majority. Pls take note of this, management. Pwede namang per table ang pag grant ng request diba? Perfect na sana ang stay namin dun, sya lang ang nakasira. i would've given this resort 5 stars, pero 4 lang, sya ung bawas na isa. Food Food is great -- breakfast comes with the payment. Nicely served Pinoy breakfast with slices of fruits and a glass of juice perfect for a sea-side brekky. Other items on the menu are a bit but not pricey (just fine with the ambience), but worth it. For dinner, we had the best chopsuey we ever tasted for Php230, good for two. Beer was reasonably priced at Php50.00 each for San Mig Light. Aqua Sports I def recommend Kayaking! Php250.00 only for two/hour. Cheaper than other resorts who are way more inferior that Cavanico. We were able to dive and see more underwater views because we paddled as far away from the beach with our Kayak. Service Nice and accommodating staff! Hello to Sharie! From the lobby, we were serviced by a cart (?) that looks like a golf car to our room. Nice 😂 Also there was a free shuttle service to the barge that we didnt avail because we had our own service. Overall -- a highly recommended place. Well-maintained. Nice for overnight stay or more. Kids-friendly, too. Im recommending this to my friends. 😁

Good Service
The place has a nice sea view and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. The beach is not as good as expected but it may be perfect for those who love to relax and feel the sea breeze. We had a great experience trying their banana boat ride and jet-ski activities. Overall, we had a good stay there.

Excellent as expected
The place is what it's expected to be. Not for A market but way too good for B and C market.Facilities are well maintained, Every morning there are dedicated staff to clean the shore and the whole surroundings. Pool water is very clean and equipped with top of the line filter system. Rooms are great but can still be improved if shower and small ref is included, although not necessary. Food and drinks are very reasonably priced. Waiters are very polite and helpful. There's enough water activities to choose from. Weekends are the best with their fire dance, zumba and acoustic jams. Rooms are reasonably priced as well. The whole place is wonderfully designed for relaxation and getaway.Best of all, the owner himself and Ted the consultant were very accommodating. You can easily approached them and talk to them like you know them for so long. I highly recommend this place. It's so relaxing especially in the morning. It was my first time in the place and I will never forget the experience. Keep it up.
