Citadines Bay City Manila

During my recent stay at Citadines Bay City Manila, I was impressed by the overall experience. The hotel boasts a modern design and a convenient location, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Check-in was efficient, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth arrival. My room was well-appointed, featuring comfortable furnishings, a fully-equipped kitchenette, and a clean, spacious bathroom. The amenities, including the fitness center and swimming pool, were well-maintained and added value to my stay. The proximity to shopping centers and dining options was a significant advantage, allowing easy access to local attractions. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which provided a relaxing environment after a busy day. Overall, Citadines Bay City Manila exceeded my expectations, and I would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Highly recommended quality hotel with a central location and very accommodating staff. The pool area was relaxing and somewhat private with a kids section and a bar available. I dont exactly remember the breakfast but I think it was good. You stay right by the bay and mall of Asia. There is also a ferris wheel in walking distance🎡

James the concierge was most helpful in many ways he made our stay there a great pleasure and because of his hard work and the way he helped us while we were there when I returned back to the Philippines I would definitely be staying at your establishment so I give him an a+

Surprisingly nice, and very reasonable

All the staff I encountered, from security, door man, reception, cafe and conference staff were all friendly and helpful. Top marks there. The room was generally well appointed in terms of the size of the bed, the sofa and the desk and chair. However this was let down by the many broken room items: one of the two plug sockets by the desk did not work. The ‘service room’ button did not work, the window was locked slightly open causing vehicle noise to enter the room, particularly in the very early morning. The curtains worked but one side was very stiff - risking them getting broken. The hairdryer had an exposed electrical wires containing the mains power! The wifi did not work when I first arrived - it transpired my IP address to be white listed. My colleague in another room had the same problem. I tried to call reception only to find the room phone did not work either! I lost a lot of productive time that evening. Staff at reception resolved the wifi and phone issues promptly but for the price paid I would expect services to work first time. The hotel pool was nice and a good place to spend some time outside the room. The conference facilities were good. The hotel has a water container system to reduce plastic bottles in the room. Seems like a good initiative but a bit tricky to use without making a mess on the floor. I was also disappointed to see the security guard kick a plastic drink bottle into the street. The hotel does not provide any recycling that I could see.

I always have a pleasent stay at the Citadines. Friendly staff and fantastic restaurant. Will always stay there when i travel that way.

Citadines provided us with a delightful and comfortable stay in a convenient spot close to numerous shops. Also they allowed us to check out late for half the price which is amazing! Highly recommendable!

Friendly and attentive personnel. Quiet and safe area of the city. Close proximity to shopping, dining, entertainment and the ocean.

Quick walk to MOA near grocery store

Excellent service and location. Got the Expedia VIP room upgrade for free and the room was quite nice - spacious enough for my partner and I. Breakfast buffet was delicious albeit a little limited on options. Got a in-room massage for a reasonable price (they provide 24 hours service just call ahead of time). Lobby is gorgeous and front desk staffed all hours with security out front. Only real complaint is bathroom shower drain design was such that the water puddles and drains quite slowly. Convenience/ pharmacy and W-Mall are all in walking distance (less than 2 blocks). Definitely check out the nearby Gala Food Park. This large indoor food court is a unexpected hidden gem where you can dress up in a Japanese yukata, grab very Instagrammable pics, and eat/drink cheap but yummy Asian cuisine (such as Japanese, Thai, Taiwanese, Hong Kong Chinese, Viet & Filipino) or "Western" foods.

Unsure about the VIP treatment is said it was un upgrade but seems like no upgrade same as any other room. The only positive comment I would have about this place is the dining area staff were very nice out off the amenities here they were the only ones that spoke and try to connect.

At first we stayed in an average 1 bedroom (729). There's a big TV in the living area that wasn't working, so they have to call someone to fixed it and put a limited channels. The bed has bugs, i woke up with 2 bites on my ankle. We called on the front desk and they immediately moved us to different room, which was a bit brighter with a pool view. We stayed for 4 nights, it was a good experience and enjoyed it with our family.
