I will recommend the place for couples who would like to have a time out from the busy office work, the usual crowded resorts or the noisy city they are living. Though stock is limited but I understand the fact that it is a resort located in an island. The room is spacious enough for me and my partner which made the .5hp air-con uncomfortable since it was not able to cool off the place (temp is really hot since it's summer). Also, on our last night the whole resort lost power and it did not have any generator that they can use. The power is still not there even we already left the resort going back to the city.

not worth staying for the price
i'm not here to review the environment because it is breathtaking. now, on to the resort. Pros: 1. beautiful nature 2. friendly staff Cons: 1. not well-maintained 2. food is just okay 3. a little rain will highly cause brownout. no generators 4. no free toiletries 5. water is salty 6. free activities advertised in its website is deceiving. they have 3 old kayaks, 2 paddle boards without paddles, pool without water, unusable billiard table. have not inspected the other amenties 7. in and out of the resort is so expensive (PhP1,500 to ports) 8. really weak wi-fi

Spectacular lagoon
I was in Siargao last month and made a point to inspect this resort as reviews were very mixed on Trip Advisor and I wanted to make up my own mind about it. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it's still being refurbished and looks dated and untidy in some respect but the location more than makes up for it. The lagoon was strikingly beautiful -photos just don't do it justice- and the over-the-water bungalows were spacious, very clean, had a high ceiling, smelt fresh, were perfectly sealed for bugs and there was even a bath-tub with hot water, a fridge and a kettle in the rooms. The balcony was a great bonus too. I had lunch there : everything was very tasty and their buko juice was to die for (I had 3 in a row !). The spa area badly needs revamping but the view from the top is a 'classic'. I was told the resort looks even better at high tide but I'd disagree as there were so many more beautiful patterns at low tide, and far more shades of blue. The paint a the bottom of the pool is flaking but considering you have this jaw-dropping, tantalising lagoon right at your feet, I can't imagine anyone wanting to use the pool. You can snorkel right off the tiny stretch of beach, which kids would enjoy too (lots of fish). I want to re-visit Siargao in 2019 and will definitely stay there next time (instead of Tami Private Cove where I was unfortunately booked, misled by reviews). There isn't a huge choice of accommodation in the South of Siargao but this was the best I could find (we wanted to avoid General Luna because quiet lagoons are more inviting than choppy seas mainly good for surfing). The only reason we didn't stay there this year is because the reviews on TripAdvisor had put my friend off, but I honestly couldn't see a catch. It's very reasonably priced and they mentioned that one can get up to 40% off if you book direct up a few weeks in advance. The resort should be restored to its former glory by summer 2017 (all being well). I was there for 3 hours and went 'wow' for 3 hours... though you'll only see the striking colours in the sun. I did have quite a lot of rain end of March, which is the shoulder month, so next time I'll aim for late April to put the odds in my favour. Siargao is truly spectacular - it's like one massive PhotoShop job as the colours look surreal... It was my 3rd trip to the Phippines and it blew me away. The whole country is spectacular but this is one of the Philippines' best kept secret. The only thing that lets it down, if anything, is that it doesn't compare to Palawan for snorkelling or diving as typhoons have destroyed a lot of the reefs over the years. So, do not expect too much *under* the water or you will be disappointed. But above the water : wow, wow, wow. Final tip: whilst you're in Mindanao, if you can spare 2 days, get to the Enchanted River (nr Bislig), it too exceeded my expectations and the colour was extra-ordinary... I'm very well travelled (76 countries so far) and I can't remember having ever seen anything quite like this before... When I landed in Manila, the Philippines Tourist Board was showing a video clip advertising this very location. I was SO happy to be going there, otherwise I'd have been gutted !!!

Cove Bliss
We enjoyed the facilities and the cove very much! Just remember that this is a very secluded resort thus fresh water is rare. drinking water is very expensive since they have to purchase it from the nearest town (that is, other side of the island).

Don't stay here, instead, just tour this place for free
Dont stay at their resort since it's pricey. What you can do is to stay in Siargao/Surigao and avail of the tour. They offer a stop here in this place where you can swim and take a lot of photos. 😊😊😊
