Rather expensive for what you get
Let's start with the positives. 1. Very friendly staff 2. Great beach 3. Beautiful surroundings The negatives: 1. Outdated rooms with a leaking sink, a running toilet and the bedroom light that doesn't properly works. Definitely not worth 3000 pesos. 2. The wifi is very very slow. 3. No cellular connection what makes it very difficult to plan the rest of our trip. For those reasons we decided only to stay one night.

Had a nice time peaceful time
Visiting some friends and wife's family under the old management but was a good time. I was looking into the work that's been done but can't tell. One thing I'd say is the price is twice the price when I was there 3 years a go. Not sure if it's TripAdvisor price but wow. The view is nice beach is nice very quit not a type of resort American would enjoy because no night life there or close to anything. But it's clean quit food is good. I just think for the price it's going to have issues with reviews. Made friend with the old staff and we keep in tough. Was thinking about going there in march but for the price there asking I think id enjoy staying in Dumagette . The price is a issue for me what they offer. If you been to the Philippines you would understand. But again I just stayed 10 days there but was nice having my wife's family use the pool and beach.

Great place and food, reasonable price
The new owners Sophie and Tobias are very hands on. Place and food is great. Its a homey place to relax away from stressful city life without getting hungry. Staff are very friendly. It has a long stretch of fine sand for my son to run around. Price is very reasonable. It is around an hour travel from Dumaguete City. We're marking this place, hoping we can go this place again.

Disappointing experience.
We were recommeded this resort so decided to check it out. We took to a motorbike and travelled a fair distance on some difficult roads made worse by mud following heavy rain the night before. On arrival it looked great. The beach in a small west (sunset) facing cove looked inviting. We were approached by a member of staff asking for an entrance fee of P100 each. We explained that we'd ridden there to buy some refreshments, perhaps some snack food and take a look at the accommodation with a view to future rental. The answer was "100 pesos each or no entry". This was quite a shock to us. We left, somewhat angry and thirsty! Now, we absolutely agree with the need to charge entrance to these resorts to prevent hordes of day trippers picnicing and abusing the facilities with limited or no payment to the owners. That is fair. However, staff should be able to differentiate between groups of beach-goers armed with picnic boxes and selfie sticks and a couple of tourists looking to spend money in the resort. We therefore cannot give a good rating for our very brief experience at this resort and we would certainly NOT recommend it to our travelling friends; which is a real shame as it could and should have been enjoyable and the start of more trips to the resort. We wish this resort well but other resorts can take our business. JandS

Needs Thorough Advertising
The place needs further development since it only houses about 7 rooms & most of these rooms were located above or somewhat on a tree top. Disadvantageous to those who have knee problems. 😂😂😂 The location too was a bit of a hideaway. It was enclosed in a somewhat discreet area. The beach theme resembled that of a tiki hut. Their staffs were warm & accommodating as well as the owner's hospitality. The food has limited selections or choices. What stood out among the other resorts nearby is the fine white/somewhat ivory sand.
