D-Zone Backpacker's Inn: For Backpackers indeed!
Here’s our review on D-Zone Backpacker’s Inn. Me and my boyfie stayed there last January 02-03, 2017. 1. Place & Room Accommodation The place is accessible; the directions given were easy to follow. The place is just right for the amount we paid for an overnight stay (Php888 for 2 pax) – promo in metrodeal. Actually, the stay is good for 23 hours (check in time: 1pm onwards; check out time: 12nn). We came from an afternoon wedding in Tagaytay, we checked in at around 10pm. The room and the bed is big enough for 2 persons. The room is air conditioned (manual but still works properly). The room is equipped with table and chairs and another table for charging of cell phones and gadgets. The room has also wall mounted television. Since it was just categorized as backpacker’s inn, the comfort room is common, but just a few steps from our room. And we are the only guest during our stay. The comfort room is ok, equipped with shower (hot & cold).  They also have rooms with CR, you only have to add Php500. There’s also a lounging area on front of our room. Wifi is available but we haven’t tried if working. The place is also strategically located, malapit sa convenience stores and bus stops. The only down side is medyo maingay since tabing kalsada lang yung place. But I didn’t mind, being dead tired, I had a good sleep.  Tip: Choose some rooms na hindi malapit sa kalsada, I think the noise is lesser. 2. Security The place is secured, somehow yes, but not fully secured in a way. The main door is always locked (near the lobby/receptionist). The doors on the rooms are double locked. But there’s no security guard on duty. Fire escape route is visible on the room, though. 3. Food Our accommodation comes with free breakfast for two. On the signage, it says that the inn has a mini pantry/kitchen and breakfast is from 8:00am – 10:00am only. Ours was served and delivered on our room.  We had tocino/sinangag/egg for breakfast. 4. Reservation and Inquiry Reservation is fast. But inquiry, takes time to answer either on FB, email or cell phone. If you want affordable accommodation, this is for you! Pasok sa budget. Just please don’t expect much since this is a budget friendly accommodation. If you are on a tight budget and you plan on going to Tagaytay para gumala during day time, and you only need space or room for an overnight stay, try this. They also offer big discounts for big groups and they give discount card you can use on your next visit.

We stayed for few hours after riding to Tagaytay to take some rest. The staff on duty was so friendly and patient with our questions. They also have this notice on the walls that you can "ask anything, as in anything" from them.

Really for Backpackers!
My partner and I decided to go for a very quick vacay on weekend. We decided to go to Tagaytay since its just a few hours drive from Manila. Since I am the kind of person who always take advantage of the discounts posted from different sites like Metrodeal, Cash Cash Pinoy, Ensogo and the likes. Fortunately, D-zone Backpackers Inn was first on the list. They offered 50% OFF for an overnight stay - w/c is good as we only need a place to spend the night. Rest of the day is just to roam around Tagaytay. D-zone Backpackers Inn is just what I expected. From their name "Backpackers Inn" - it's not for people who are into grand facilities as the hotel is just for people who are on a tight budget and people who are not "maarte". Backpackers Inn is just like your dormitory in college where in you have your own room but share toilets with other students. There is an air-conditioning unit in the room, and I can say that the room we got is spacious enough for the 2 of us. There is also free WIFI (Just ask for the password from the attendant). There is no guard downstairs at the main entrance w/c made us worry, but I think the place is safe (because nothing happened to us, and our things were safe too!) There is a little space for parking. Maybe just good for 1-2 cars. They don't offer food, but there is a 24-hour store infront and some carinderias in the area. I suggest for you not to expect that much. Backpackers Inn is just mainly for backpackers. :)

"Not advisable for family"
We went here in this hotel just this July 30,2016 and we are very disappointed w/ the customer service, the room itself and even w/ the comfort room. When we get there there is no anyone in the reception we wait for almost 20mins and my kids getting irritated already since we are all tired. We said we are booked on line and the Boy give me a form to fill up, he said that I have to pay additional for my 19 yrs old son, well in fact I already discuss it already before we get there that if we will not ask additional bed and breakfast no need to add any but the boy still insist even if I have shown him the my conversation w/ his manager. When I see the deluxe room that they have reserved it was very small, the light is dim and there is no window and the worst is the bathroom is for sharing. I insist I want to talked to the manager but almost 4hrs still there is no manager to talk, I paid for 2 days and 1 night but since we are very disappointed w/ everything we just decided to go the other hotels.
