Wonderful Seaview
Most of the rooms are with fantastic seaview. There are not many facilitites, but clean and neat rooms . Good for those who hate housekeeping service. All upon your request, so you may enjoy the peace of the island. The only complaint I would like to file is the tap water/shower water which is saltier than the one in other resorts. However, I believe that will never be improved since this is only a budget resort with excellent view and reasonable price.

the perfect choice
After shearching around we found Daños. We liked because of the situation. very near the dive centers but in a quiet place. The views are awesome and the price is correct. Breakfast is included, not awesome but fine. The only thing we didn't like is that there is no wi-fi. Staff friendly and they clean the room if you ask them.

All you need and in front of the sea
We stayed for an entire week in August 2014 in Malapascua, and the cheapest option we found was Daño houses. When in the Pines you read Resort, don't take it wrong, it can only be just few simple one room houses spread in a small area. They have something like small cottages for two or three, with bathroom inside. Furniture is simple but you have all you need, beds, drawers and chairs. Best thing is the combination of a very good price with being few meters far from the sea, as the houses are actually almost on the beach.

Good value for money in a becah front room.
We spend a week there last November. After checking the cheapest places in the island we decided to stay at Daño and pay the little difference. All their rooms are very simple but clean and they change your bed clothes and towels every time you ask for it. Beach front rooms with fan. Some have sdouble bed some have 2 sibgles beds and some have A/C. No hot water though but it ain't really necessary. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only 2 "cons" are they don't have any wifi and that they come every 2 days asking you to pay them the alst 2 nights as if you were planing to run away the net morning. But i guess it's a cultural thing. I'd repeat with them if I ever go back to Malapasscua.

The view! Nothing more.
Stayed for 3 nights at Daño because I did the advanced open water course at Devocean (want to dive? Read my review of them!). I got a hut closest to the beach (Photo's from my porch at sunrise) and located farthest away from the local homes inland (where the roasters crows 24/7). The hut itself was not nice but since I just slept there it was not much of a concern. There was no toilet seat and they said they didn't have one for me so after a day I went with the cleaning lady to a empty hut and "borrowed" it's. Toilet stopped flushing one day so had to fill up a bucket from the shower (that only has cold water but you don't need hot water here). The tap was broken and started to leak as hell in the middle of the night so I had to run outside to turn of all the water to my hut before I could fix it. Ants everywhere, especially in the bathroom. No soap, no trashcan. Was it worth 900 pesos/night incl small breakfast? No. Did I care when I sat 5 o'clock in the morning with a first row seat to the sunrise? Nope :-)
