Whether you are visiting for a short business trip or a longer stay in the city, the property provides the essential amenities required for a productive visit. By choosing to book hotel accommodations here, you gain a reliable base of operations that keeps you connected to the pulse of Metro Manila without the noise of the central business district.

Location and Getting to Dian SUITES 1

Address and Directions

The property is situated at 1720 Dian Street in Barangay Palanan, a vibrant neighborhood that serves as a gateway between the bustling Makati central district and the historic streets of Manila. This location is ideal for those who need to navigate the city frequently, as it sits near major thoroughfares that connect you to the rest of the region. If you are arriving from the airport, you can easily book flight tickets to Ninoy Aquino International Airport and take a Grab car directly to the doorstep for a seamless arrival.

Navigating the area is straightforward for locals and visitors alike. The Gil Puyat LRT Station is located 772 meters away, which is approximately a 10-minute walk or a quick 3-minute tricycle ride. Tricycles are the most common way to navigate the immediate Barangay Palanan area, with short trips typically costing between ₱20 and ₱50 depending on your destination. For longer distances, Grab remains the most reliable and transparent option for travelers who prefer fixed pricing and air-conditioned comfort.

The street itself is well-known to local drivers, making it easy to find via ride-sharing apps. Because the property is located in a residential-commercial mix, you will find that the surrounding streets are active during the day but settle down in the evening. This provides a balanced environment where you can access local eateries and convenience stores within a few minutes of walking, ensuring that your daily needs are met without requiring long commutes.

What's Around Dian SUITES 1

One of the primary benefits of staying here is the proximity to essential landmarks. Jollibee Buendia Taft is located 746 meters away, which is about a 9-minute walk. This is a favorite for many Filipino travelers who want a quick, familiar meal at any hour of the day. Having such a recognizable landmark nearby also makes it incredibly easy to provide directions to delivery drivers or friends meeting you for a quick catch-up.

For those attending events or conferences, the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) is 2.36 kilometers away. By car, this usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes depending on the traffic flow along the coastal roads. It is a major hub for national and international gatherings, and staying at Dian SUITES 1 allows you to reach the venue efficiently while avoiding the higher costs of hotels located directly inside the convention complex.

If you are looking for retail therapy or a place to spend an afternoon, Robinsons Place Manila is 3.00 kilometers away. A short 15-minute drive will bring you to this massive shopping destination where you can find everything from local fashion brands to international dining chains. It is a great spot to book attraction tickets for nearby museums or cinemas, making it a versatile stop for your itinerary.

The area surrounding the property is also rich in local culture. You will find various small businesses, local markets, and street-side vendors that give you a genuine look at life in Metro Manila. Walking through Barangay Palanan allows you to experience the authentic rhythm of the city, far removed from the sterile environment of high-end tourist zones, providing a grounded perspective on the local lifestyle.

Facilities and Amenities at Dian SUITES 1

Highlights You'll Love

The property features a refreshing swimming pool, which serves as an excellent facility for cooling off after a humid day in the city. This outdoor pool provides a space for light exercise or relaxation, ensuring you have a way to unwind without leaving the premises. The presence of an elevator ensures that you can move between floors with your luggage effortlessly, adding a layer of convenience to your daily routine.

Parking is available on-site, which is a significant advantage in a city where finding a secure spot can be challenging. The facility offers limited parking for guests, providing peace of mind for those who choose to rent a car or drive their own vehicle. Additionally, the property provides reliable WiFi, allowing you to stay connected for work or leisure throughout your entire stay, ensuring you never miss an important email or update.

The service apartment is designed to be a smoke-free area, which promotes a cleaner and more comfortable environment for all guests. This commitment to air quality is a key feature that enhances the overall living experience. By maintaining these standards, the property ensures that your stay is focused on comfort and health, making it a preferred choice for travelers who prioritize a well-maintained and professional environment.

Room Comforts and Additional Services

Beyond the popular amenities, the property includes accessible parking, which is a thoughtful addition for guests with specific mobility needs. This ensures that everyone can navigate the property with ease and dignity. The rooms are designed to be functional, providing a quiet space where you can rest after a long day of exploring the city or attending meetings. If you are looking for a cheap hotel that does not compromise on essential services, this is an excellent option.

The service apartment model means you get more space than a standard hotel room, often including areas that feel more like a private residence. This is particularly beneficial for those staying for more than a few days, as it allows you to settle in and organize your belongings properly. The staff is dedicated to maintaining the cleanliness of these spaces, ensuring that your room is always ready for your return.

Whether you are traveling for business or leisure, the combination of these facilities creates a seamless experience. From the moment you arrive until the time you check out, the property is equipped to handle your basic requirements. We encourage you to check the latest availability and secure your room early to take advantage of the best rates, as this property is a popular choice for savvy travelers.

Pet Policy at Dian SUITES 1

Please be advised that Dian SUITES 1 maintains a strict policy regarding animals. Service animals are not allowed on the premises. We recommend that guests who require the assistance of service animals contact the property management directly before booking to discuss any potential accommodations or to seek alternative arrangements that may better suit their specific needs.

Check-in and Check-out at Dian SUITES 1

The check-in process is designed to be efficient, with the front desk welcoming guests between 14:00 and 22:00. We recommend having your valid government-issued ID and your Traveloka booking confirmation ready upon arrival to expedite the registration process. If you anticipate arriving outside of these hours, it is best to contact the property in advance to see if special arrangements can be made for your arrival.

Check-out must be completed before 12:00 on your day of departure. This allows the housekeeping team sufficient time to prepare the room for the next guest. If you have a late flight or need to stay in the area longer, you may inquire at the front desk about the possibility of a late check-out, though this is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.

Your Makati Travel Guide

Getting to Makati from Manila and Major Philippine Cities

Reaching Makati is simple thanks to its central location in the National Capital Region. If you are flying in from provinces like Cebu, Davao, or Iloilo, you can book flight options to Manila. Once you land at the airport, you can take a taxi, a Grab car, or the UBE Express bus, which serves major hotels and transit hubs in the Makati area, making your transition from the airport to the city very smooth.

For those traveling by land from nearby provinces, major bus lines operate routes that pass through the Buendia or EDSA terminals. From these terminals, you can easily catch a jeepney or a taxi to reach your destination in Makati. The city is well-connected, and the abundance of public transport options ensures that you can reach your accommodation regardless of your point of origin within the Philippines.

If you are coming from the northern parts of Luzon, the Skyway and various expressways have significantly reduced travel times to Makati. Driving your own car is an option, though parking in the central business district can be competitive. Using public transport or ride-sharing services remains the most stress-free way to navigate the city, allowing you to focus on your itinerary rather than the complexities of Manila traffic.

Best Time to Visit Makati

The best time to visit Makati is during the dry season, which typically runs from November to April. During these months, the weather is cooler and more pleasant, making it ideal for walking around the city and exploring outdoor attractions. This is also the peak season for tourism, so you will find the city vibrant and full of life, with many events and festivals taking place throughout the region.

If you prefer to avoid the crowds and take advantage of lower rates, the shoulder months of May and October can be a great time to visit. While there is a higher chance of rain, the city remains fully operational, and you can enjoy a more relaxed pace. Regardless of when you visit, Makati offers a consistent level of service and excitement that makes it a top destination for travelers year-round.

Food and Dining in Makati — Filipino Must-Tries

No trip to Makati is complete without sampling the local cuisine. Start with Adobo, a savory dish of meat marinated in vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic. You can find this in almost every local eatery, and it is a staple of Filipino comfort food. Another must-try is Sinigang, a sour soup that is perfect for the humid weather, often served with pork or shrimp and a variety of fresh vegetables.

For those with a sweet tooth, Halo-Halo is the ultimate dessert. This shaved ice treat is mixed with evaporated milk, various fruits, beans, and topped with leche flan or ube ice cream. It is the perfect way to cool down after a long day. You should also try Sisig, a sizzling dish made from chopped pork, onions, and chili, which is a popular choice for dinner or as a snack with friends.

If you are looking for something quick, street food like fish balls and kwek-kwek are widely available near transit stations. These are affordable, delicious, and offer a true taste of the local street culture. Makati is home to a diverse range of dining options, from high-end restaurants in the business district to humble carinderias that serve authentic home-cooked meals at very reasonable prices.

Local Culture, Safety and Essential Apps in Makati

Filipinos are known for their hospitality, and you will find that the locals are generally very helpful and friendly. When interacting with others, a polite tone goes a long way. Safety in Makati is generally high, especially in the commercial areas, but it is always wise to keep an eye on your belongings in crowded places and use official transport services when moving around at night.

In case of emergencies, the national emergency hotline is 911. It is a good idea to save this number in your phone. For navigation, Google Maps is highly accurate for finding routes and public transport options. Grab is the essential app for booking rides, as it provides transparent pricing and safety features that are highly recommended for visitors who are not familiar with the local jeepney routes.

Finally, make sure to download the Traveloka app to manage your bookings and discover local deals. Having the app on your phone allows you to quickly check your reservation details, find nearby attractions, and even book last-minute activities. It is a comprehensive tool that simplifies your travel experience, ensuring that you have all the information you need right at your fingertips throughout your stay.

Staff were incredibly accommodating, but the room leaves so much to be desired. There were no power outlets near the sink area, which means the microwave and water are pretty much useless. The floor tiles are loose, and some of them were already broken, which could cause an injury. Everything else is good, the staff are easy to talk to, they helped me when I left an important item in my room, and the location is near most stores if you want to buy food and other personal supplies.

It was so so. I booked a room that's a but bigger than what we stayed at. There was no table and chair to use. Dirty towels. Only 1 shampoo and soap was given when we were 2 pax. What I like was we were able to check in early and it was no hassle checking out. The place is also near quite a number of shops like cash and carry and etc..

I stayed for three nights in Dian. The experience was okay. The room price if you book online is far cheaper compare to walk-in price. My first night in a standard room was okay, however the sink in the bathroom took time to subside so I moved to the executive suite on my second day. The bed was bigger and comfy, microwave and mini fridge are provided but I couldn't use them at the same time because of the limited electric power etc... When I was using the fridge, the microwave just wouldn't work. There's no handheld bidet shower for the toilet use, and the water heater wasn't working during my stay. But still, I'd recommend this place to my friends and to you guys. There's privacy in here as long as the guests are considerate to the other guests and avoid shouting or making loud noises especially at the lobby area. The staffs are friendly too.
