Good place to stay. they do have spacious beds.
Nice and clean pool. staff are accommodating the breakfast buffet has limited choices but it's fine for the room rates.
Great and helpful staffs. The room was great.
The resort was beautiful. They also have clean, spacious and comfortable bedroom. The only downside was the free breakfast buffet. They only had One viand. I think it's hamonado longganisa and it's not yummy too.
Our stay at Dumaluan was okay. Room (specifically the bath tub) We arrived there at almost 3pm and when we went to our room, the mattresses were still at the balcony being prepared. Considering that their check-in time was 2pm, they should have prepared our room beforehand. Next was the bath tub. What made the Deluxe room different from the others was that this room had a bathtub making this room more expensive but the thing is, we never got to use it because it did not have a stopper. We reported it and the front desk receptionist said she’ll send someone to fix it. When the staff arrived, I thought they were going to bring a spare stopper or something but instead, they brought in a rubber cutout from a slipper. to serve as a stopper!! I did not pay extra for a bath tub with a DIY stopper from a slipper! I don’t know if it was new or used but it is very unsanitary to use something like that. Now that the issue with the stopper was “fixed”, we went ahead and filled up the tub. Now, when it was halfway full, we saw that the overflow faceplate was broken! Looking at the broken overflow faceplate, it seemed like it had rust and dirt inside so we did not bother using the tub at all. Had we known that the tub could not be used, we would not have booked this room and booked the cheaper rooms instead. Feel like we wasted our money on this room. Food Don’t get me wrong. The food was okay but I wish they’d change the menu everyday so that people who stay for more the 2days won’t get to eat the same food every single day. Went to Dumaluan when I was 23 and when I came back last month, they still served the same menu. Also, they should not display food that are not part of the buffet. When we ate there, we thought that the mangoes, bananas etc. were part of the buffet. Nobody bothered to tell us. We were shocked when the waitress showed us our bill. She then informed us that the mango and the banana we took were not part of the buffet. It would help if Dumaluan placed a sign or something or better yet, not put food that is not part of the buffet at all as to not confuse people. My comment is just for the buffet. Food at the restaurant was very good. For some reason, the "paid" garlic rice tasted better than the free one from the buffet. Overall, my experience was great even though I encountered the issues I mentioned above. I like the fact that the beach area was very very clean (even better than the more expensive resorts nearby), the pool was clean, the resort was clean, the food was delicious (not the buffet though, sorry) and the location was also very accessible. I hope Dumaluan continues to clean their beach area because I think that’s what sets them apart from the other resorts.
The room we stayed was good, spotless and spacious. It also cleaned daily. Nice place!
It's good place with very nice beach and sand. So serene and peaceful ambience.
It's perfect place to relax and unwind. Very peaceful and quite.
Clean and large room, well-kept place, and great location right on Dumaluan Beach.
Awesome view and the room was so clean and spacious. Value for money!

Frustrating WIFI and more (read carefully)
Pros: -Best customer service -Nice garden arrangements Cons: -Rooms are expensive but not worth the price. -Frustrating internet connection. If you are working while traveling PLEASE DON'T GO to this place. -Weird stuff!! No free drinking water (they don't accept request free pitcher of water inside the room). Service desk is only until 12am, make sure you drink eater at their kitchen before they closed out. -Key card bracelet/door key/door sensor not functioning well. I have to use all kind sof key just to open the damn door (see pictures below) -Items listed on online booking is not in the room during upon arrival. You have to request it multiple times before they can provide -Very limited breakfast buffet menu and expect that they will repeat the same menu the next day. Changing only 1 dish from the 3 dishes they serve in the breakfast buffet. - No remote for AC -ANTS on the bed -Safety box is not functioning -Toiletries upon request

Awesome beach location, fail reservation procedure
We've reserved months ahead just to have everything ready, but when we arrived, they said that it is already fully booked and the room that we have reserved/fully paid way back is not available. So of course we got pissed as that is not what we expected. So after an hour of waiting and explaining, showing proofs that reservation was acknowledged, they gave us the Kamalig Beach front room to compensate the hassle we had. So kudos for the management for that. Free buffet breakfast food is good. They have good band performers at night to cap off your day.

A complete nightmare
Awesome location on the beach, but unacceptable condition of the rooms. Felt like a sewer rat in our room due to the intensive canal-like smell coming from the bathroom. Rusty, calcified and broken mountings in the bathroom, and the hot water wasn't working. Dirty water coming out of the spigot (brown and salty smell). The room was quite dark, too and the aircon was loud and had a foul smell. The breakfast in the restaurant was ok, bot nothing special. The dinner was quite good, but rather expensive. After one night in this nightmare of a room, we immediately transferred to another hotel, because of the unbearable condition of our room. Quite a pity, because we really liked the beach there. We will never ever go back to this place again. You have been warned.

Basic resort, Beautiful beach
Resort staff are helpful and accommodating however the resort shows age and lacks some of the basic amenities. The room rate could provide a better room along Alona beach, food was just okay. Breakfast buffet took time to replenish. TV was old and small. There was no double lock in the room.

The beach is still amazing but NOT the resort
We stayed here for 3 nights last Feb 2017.. We got a family room 206. My negative feedback are: 1) The shower knob was destroyed. You can use it though. The hot and cold water is not good. It is either too hot or too cold. The shower became so hot after few minutes and you have to switch it to a colder direction but it became cold that you have to switch it back a little bit to hotter but instead of getting warmer water it became too hot again. 2) There is no phone inside the room. The building were the family rooms are located has only one phone per floor but sadly the one at the second floor was also broken so we have to go up to the 3rd floor to call the house keeping or front desk. 3) Water from faucet is salty buy were fine. 4) You have to pay 25 pesos to ask for a pitcher of hot water. But the succeeding request is already free. Im not sure for cold water we havent tried though. 5) No bedroom slipper provided, 6) ALL TOWELS have lints. It will be scattered all over your body when you use. 7) You need to go to their restaurant to ask for the water.. Positive feedback. 1) The housekeeping staff were nice to bring everything we asked. Like extra blanket, laundry plastics, extra bathroom/floor rug. We even borrowed a broom. 2) Their pool was clean. The beach was so nice and so clear. 3) Food is good (ala carte). Breakfast were fine. This is the second time we stayed in this resort. The first one was at their superior room. And for 4 years that has been passed, it seems that their service has not changed.
