I've notice that disposable slippers is better at Richmonde Ortigas than Eastwood
The mattress and pillow were so comfortable.. staff were great!
Cool, cozy place that you will want to just stay on bed the whole day. Their pool is good as well!
great experience, relaxed and accessible
The one-bedroom suite is just perfect for our family of 4. Our kids enjoyed our stay so much that they want to go back again! We absolutely love that the hotel is connected to the mall, perfect for when you forgot something at home or just want to let the kids run around and look at toys. I particularly love that they take note of your previous stays and preferences. We have this favorite breakfast dish, their vegetable lasagna, but they didn't serve it when we had the breakfast buffet during our stay. But I'm definitely coming back again!
Good service! Improvement on elevators and more spacious and private dining area
Its nice stay though our room was not given on the same time I checked in.. but they offered some drinks while waiting
Smooth check in and out with complimentary parking. Room was big enough for two guest. I love ERH since it is very accessible to restaurants and malls.

i love the location of the hotel. near the mall nd supermarket. it is also near at padre pio. The only thing that i didn't like was the pool area. food was nice as well. planning to check in again nx year.

Budget hotel good location
It’s great for you if your office is in Eastwood ... it’s bang in the middle and inside the mall. With smoking banned in most areas we actually felt more convenient to walk into my colleagues room and smoke there (I actually never lived here). For vegetarians there are not many dining options so that a big issue and property felt run down and very average budget hotel types.

Halloween Kiddie Party
Went to their haunted halloween Kiddie Party which was priced at 850nett. This included a snack buffet, haunted house entrance multiple, magic show with games, 1 popcorn, 1 cotton candy, 1 loot bag, 1 game station and photo booth and 1 cupcake. Toddler was free. Place is a bit rundown. May need some renovation. Service staff is inconsistent. Some staff are very friendly while some seems distracted. Compared to other Hotel Event Kiddie Parties we've been to, it's average. But we love the haunted house!! Scary!!!! For the Price, it was okay.

Trip Ruined Right From Arrival!
This was my 1st trip to Manila to attend a friend's wedding and she booked us a room here as this hotel was near to her wedding venue. She arranged airport pickup via the hotel for me. However, my trip was ruined right from the start. Upon arrival at the airport, I couldn't locate any staff from the hotel who was supposed to be waiting at the arrival hall with the signboard stating the hotel or my name. After searching for 15-20 minutes, I contacted my friend who then checked with the hotel's concierge. Apparently, the driver left without me. There was supposed to be 4 of us in total. He managed to locate the other 3 guests who were on the same flight as me. Instead of waiting for me to ensure he picked up the 4 guests that he was supposed to fetch, he just drove off without even attempting to locate me. I was thus left stranded at the airport & so happened that it was already approaching 5pm, the peak hour in Manila. My colleague who was travelling together with me then tried to help me find alternative solution to get to the hotel. After what seemed like eternity, somebody holding the hotel's signboard finally appeared. When asked about the service shortfall, he just bluntly claimed that it was a miscommunication. This was despite the fact that my name was indicated on the signboard, together with the names of the 3 other guests who I assumed left with the driver. So the hotel's staff called the driver to ask if he can U-turn to pick me up but seems like the other passengers were reluctant to do so and the driver just selfishly left me behind, stranded at the airport on my very 1st trip to the country. Thanks so much for a very warm welcome. Whoa, just great. The staff who appeared out of nowhere didn't do much to provide any solution to the problem & just told me to take a taxi to the hotel myself and the hotel will reimburse my fare. So i boarded the taxi, scared and worried not knowing what will happen. It took me almost 3 freaking hours to reach the hotel as I was stuck in a massive traffic jam, with no wifi or roaming data. I don't even have the slightest idea where i was and how far was i from the hotel. Thank goodness, the taxi driver was honest and he even provided words of comfort knowing how worried I was & reassured me he'll get me to the hotel. Finally, i reached the hotel and was so glad to see my friend waiting for me at the driveway. I was checked in by the Front Office Manager, who asked me how my journey was. When i complained about how they missed my transfer and nobody did much to provide any alternative solutions, she just bluntly showed a :( face and moved on with the check in process. Not a single word of apology to apologise for the service shortfall. Not a single word or any sign of empathy shown after a disastrous 'welcome' experience and a tired journey. This is totally unacceptable. For someone who's from the hospitality industry as well, this is absolutely unprofessional. It's shocking to know that this hotel doesn't even care a slightest bit about their guests at all. This was despite the fact that they actually screwed up the arrival transfer and created much inconvenience to the guest yet no apology given, neither was there any service recovery done. Amazing hospitality! Tired and left with minimal energy after the ordeal, i just took the key and went up to the room. Room was located right at the end of a corridor, dimly lighted and had a musky smell. Room was average however, internet connectivity was extremely unstable. It's frustrating that I can't even get proper internet access when all i wanted was to faster connect with family to let them know i finally arrived at the hotel safely. Aircon was making a lot of noise throughout the night as well.TV had limited international channels and were mainly showing local channels instead. I had breakfast at the restaurant next morning. Worst breakfast experience at a hotel so far. Variety was limited, food presentation was poor. Egg station looked stale, coffee served luke warm and tasted much like drain water. All in all, an absolute disaster. If it wasn't due to proximity to the wedding venue of my friend, i'd probably stay in the CBD area where all the international chain hotels were located. At least, i'll be assured that the hotel takes care of their guests. My advice to this hotel is, if guest's satisfaction and well being is not your priority, rethink why you're even in the hospitality industry. Definitely, not coming back here again and not recommending this to anybody else.

Worst Hotel Conference Service
I attended the Philippine Research Conference on Tourism and Hospitality. Aside from the subpar food that was served genrally cold or obviously reheated, the service from the food and beverage staff assigned to us was absolutely horrible. 1. None of them paid attention to us, I actually had eye contact with some of them and they looked away and pretended to be busy elsewhere. They werent friendly at all, didnt smile or greet any of us. They were too preoccupied with bussing out tables and gave me the impression that they didnt want us there. 2. It was not automatic for them to refill the water goblets of the whole table, each one of us had to individually ask for water. In addition to this, whenever theyd have to return to a table because they didnt refill everyone's glass in the first place, sila pa yung galit. 3. The staff seem disoriented and lack training - they dont even know where certain rooms are and dont know how to respond to guest inquiries. They didnt answer questions such as what the wifi password was, or the orientation of the Ballrooms 1, 2 and 3. Upon further investigation, I found out that apparently they didnt want to give the wifi out freely because it couldnt accomodate the volume of guests at the conference so they decided to limit it to certain people only. I wouldve appreciated it if they said that there was no wifi instead of publicizing Richmonde as a wifi area. 4. I asked for hot sauce during lunch and the staff didnt seem to know what it was so he said there wasnt any. Later on, he slammed a bottle of Tabasco on our table and walked away without saying anything. Im sure it was just because he didnt want to apologize for not knowing what I was asking for. Unfortunately, only some of those wearing nametags were doing any good work. I really felt that the amount of money that I paid was simply wasted on such bad service. I will NOT recommend this hotel to my contacts because of this experience.
