Family vacation
Our stay was amazing! We were a bit skeptical since the hallways to the rooms were a bit run down but when we reached our room we were pleasantly surprised. The Deluxe room was huge! though the walls and the bathroom needs to be renovated but it was clean. The beds were comfortable and most importantly the hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

No toothpaste provided (even a small one), which should be included in the toiletries placed in the bathroom. It should be ready for use upon check in.

Front desk personnel was not paying attention and kept guests waiting for status and feedback regarding check in and check out. They kept on talking among themselves noisily. While checking out, we were asked to wait while they check the rooms. We patiently waited as we do not want to rush them while doing the room check. When we seemed to have waited for so long already, almost for 30minutes for just a room check out, we followed up the front desk "Miss, okay na po ba yung room check?" only to receive a unapologetic, "ay sir okay na po pala." Then she started humming/singing to herself. Food provider should improve their menu and quality of served food items. Some carinderia can easily serve better food than the ones in the El Cielito Makati branch. There was also a huge crowd eating with us in the breakfast area. This crowd were not hotel guests but just availed the hotel breakfast so they can have a place to hold their seminar or their meeting. They were so noisy. Almost to the point that we thought they were arguing. It changed the morning-breakfast mood from a supposedly serene and relaxed ambience to a rather noisy and almost-deafening room. We didn't even finish all of our food so we can already go back to our room. The inferior and not well-maintained compared to other numerous same class hotel we have stayed at in the past. The room was big though. Too big you can hear the echo of your voice. It was big but sort of empty. No bedroom slippers were provided. The only good thing about the hotel is the location. Nothing else.

The location, breakfast buffet and service is superb however the facilities needs a complete renovation. The rooms looks old and dusty.

Business travel
The receptionist is not accommodating. Complete toiletries were not readily provided. We were told that ihose are not part of the perks. True these are not because those were supposedly there already that are ready to be used like toothpaste and toothbrush, shampoo and slippers. No trash can inside the CR. Also, the two (2) bottle water was not provided. The receptionist told us that it was not part of the perks. It was a very different experience with El Cielito Hotel Sta. Rosa where we enjoyed our stay.

El Cielito Hotel-Makati understands every business traveler’s need to relax and recharge after a hard day’s work. The hotel has spacious and inviting rooms designed to give guests a pleasant stay. It is also conveniently located close to the city’s key commercial centers and establishments.
Four accommodation types are available for the guests: Deluxe, Single Standard, Double Standard, and Twin Standard. In-room facilities include an air conditioner, a television with cable channels, a refrigerator, and a working desk. The private bathrooms have a shower stall and a bathtub as well. Free WiFi can also be accessed from any room. Guests may also use the WiFi in public areas for a fee.
The hotel has four fully equipped function rooms ideal for business conferences and meetings. There is also a business center that offers various services such as printing and photocopying. Guests may also use its projector.
There is a restaurant inside the property where guests may order breakfast, lunch, and dinner sets. An on-site cafeteria called the Kaffenena Coffee Shop serves delectable pastries, light snacks, as well as aromatic beverages and cold drinks.
Those looking for a moment of invigoration may request a massage service. Foreign exchange, travel arrangements, airport transfers, and laundry services are also offered. A friendly receptionist is available in the lobby should a guest have a particular concern.
