- Backpacking
There's a spider web inside the cr that makes me wonder when is the last time it was used by a customer? When is the last time they clean the room?. No WiFi (available at the lobby only). There's a small cable TV. It becomes a habit to me not to turn of the TV every time I go checkin, even if I'll go outside, take a shower and go to sleep. When I woke up around 4AM the TV was turned off. I asked my friends if they turned of the TV but they didn't! Glad we only stay there for one night. breakfast choices is good (jollibee meals) however we need to leave at 5am that's why we're not able to claim our food.
- Family vacation
A quite place to stay and secured hotel. All of the staff are so good
- Family vacation
Staffs were very accommodating.
- Shopping & Culinary
The hotel is at the center of Jaro, very clean, staff are courteous and nice. I just don't like the breakfast, which is ordered at a fast food establishment.
- Backpacking
Very accommodating and friendly staff. Breakfast served was Jollibee meal.
The location of the hotel was actually good. But what disappoints me is sleeping with bed bugs. My partner didn't find time to complain since its just a 2 days stay and we have to roam around the city fast. And another it was posted that they have unlimited coffee, but coffee is nowhere to be found. And the air condition seems unable to maintain the coldness of the room. (Maybe the a/c is not the proper size for the room) Staffs are somehow accommodating.
- Backpacking
Clean and comfortable. staff were nice.
- Backpacking
Not satisfied of everything but I can see that they are trying the best especially the staff
- Family vacation
Stress free, no pressure, comfy place to stay

Reasonable price
The price is reasonable. The hotel is subject for further improvements: Window Blinds are dirty, room 7 main door needs alignment, while the door knob in the common CR near the lobby, needs replacement. The staff and security guards are friendly, except the one in the reception, she is fine but too slow in issuing receipts etc. TV cable is useless, I cannot find local stations like GMA nor ABS, except radio coverage via TV. No wifi access inside the room..so sad. But overall, the hotel is clean.

Clean , Spacious, Better place to stay in Jaro
Located Jaime st. Just a block away from the newly constructed Robinsons Jaro Mall. (Will open this Sept 2016) Quiet hotel (which is good) Spacious room. Wifi Hot n cold shower Cable tv Unlimited coffee (coffee shop) Housekeepers, Guards, and Front desk officers are nice and friendly. Few staff but when u need them they are always ready. Every 6pm Barbeque and fishball vendors are outside 😀 Near Barmart, Carwash, Miyongs seafood resto, jos inato, chickensarisari etc. Breakfast is Jollibee. x: Windows with blinds only (no curtains) No room telephone No restaurant This hotel is much better than Bavaria, Budget Inn Jaro or Queens Pensionne. (1300 per night w/ free jollibee breakfast) Will be back 😀 -S & J D.

Attentive service, the product was just so so
I arrived early in the morning and requested for early check-in. The front desk staff called someone and asked me to wait for the "manager". When the manager came, I asked if I could check-in early so that I can go on a full-day tour, if there's any available room. It was breakfast hour and their restaurant looked empty. She offered to store my luggage while I go out. That did not do the trick as I needed to rearrange my belonging and get ready for a tour. That hiccup was just the beginning. The security guard was very attentive. He did not fail to open the door for me every time I headed out. I came to know that he was on a 24-hour shift and it was so impressive. Location is not the best, I had to take taxi to go to any shopping mall, spa or dining places. Not recommended for short stay.

Just fine...
We stayed here during Dinagyang Festival. The place is OK, clean and has car park... Can still be improved. The rooms are airconditioned. The place is easy to find. If given a chance I will still stay here...

Could be improved
Stayed here for five nights in January. Choose it because I needed to be in this area of Jaro. I'm not sure why it is called a "private hotel". Essentially, it is a pension house (or quite similar to one) so if you are happy with those types of amenities (i.e., just need a place to sleep with a bathroom) there are cheaper pensionnes in the area. Or for the same rate as El Haciendero you can probably find a better hotel somewhere else in Iloilo if you don't particularly need to be in Jaro. Our room was tidy but could have used a good scrubbing (floors kinda filmy, bathroom could have used a good scrub). Small, basic bathroom facilities which is fine, but the shower pressure was terrible (although the water did get really hot which was nice). It was difficult to wash my hair with the lack of shower pressure. Needed to ask the cleaning staff to turn down the room - they didn't do it routinely each day (which was fine, but why call it a hotel?). Some of the towels we used were gross (stained and frayed). The mattresses are a basic light-medium density foam. I didn't mind them but my husband found them super uncomfortable so after the 5th night we moved to Smallville 21 Hotel (twice the cost but much nicer) . If this place was priced about 20% less (in range with other pensionnes in Jaro) it would have felt like fair value and adequate for the price. Really there is no reason to stay here unless it's for the particular location. Even then there are other similar accommodations in the area, or better value for the money elsewhere in Iloilo. If I go back, I will probably stay at the new Go Hotel in Iloilo. I stayed at one in Manila and it was the perfect combination of value and functionality in a hotel room. Incredibly, their rates are also currently lower than at El Haciendero.
