Cute Cottages
We’ve booked 3 nights there and decided to extend our stay. Cottages were so cute and clean. We had a sea view with a little terrace. Very quiet place. 8 minutes walking distance from the center which is very nice if you want to be far from the city noise. Staff were so friendly!! We would like to thanks especially BRYAN the receptionist by night who gave us lot of very good recommendations. If you stay there ask him he can arrange motorbike, tickets or tour. Many thanks Bryan again !

Lovely stay
We loved our stay in the viewdeck cottages! The cottages are lovely and the view is very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The included breakfast has something for everyone, it's simple but good. We extended our stay there.

We were staying in 2 different rooms in El Nido viewdeck cottages. Overall experience was OK. When staying in Sea View Bungalow we had stunning views and had complete privacy as the cottage is located all the way up on the hill. The weather is so hot and to get up there, you need to be in a good shape. The terrace chairs are hard and do not offer comfortable seating. Internet is rarely working. Breakfast area is located close to reception and honestly speaking I was disappointed. Having lovely breakfast is so important to me and gives me that relaxing holiday feeling and makes me feel 'holidayish'. This breakfast area was basic room without any idea or atmosphere. We were there in april but there were still christmas decoration hanging from the ceiling. The view from breakfast area window was onto piles of garbage and construction. The breakfast itself was very simple. When paying 100 EUR/night, I expect much more.

Hospitality found
Booked for 6 nights and ended up cancelling next hotel and staying a further 4 nights!! This should speak volumes. After travelling around the Philippines for over 3 months we have tried budget through to luxury, and unfortunately we have also come across; clean to dirty and friendly to darn right rude! Rudy the owner and his staff run this hotel incorporating all of the above mentioned positives. The rooms are well thought out with storage space (with hanging rail!!!), comfy bed, typical open shower (standard for Philippines) but most importantly clean, clean, clean. The restaurant serves fresh, large wholesome breakfasts and again everything is so clean. Pick your room wisely, all rooms are great, we had 3, but the higher rooms are fantastic but lots of steps. Rudy runs the hotel by example; he is honest, caring and professional. He listens to his customers and adapts accordingly. Thank you Rudy and good luck and best wishes to you and your family. Wonderful breakfast
We stayed in an air con room, near to reception so didn't involve too much climbing stairs. Enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was the best choice we've had so far in the philippines! Loved the thick wholemeal toast! (They only serve breakfast) We stayed in a lower room facing the road but it wasn't noisy at all. We had a good nights sleep here! (Compared to the Swiftlets Inn next door where we also stayed and it was awful) The room wasn't massive but it was comfortable and clean with a powerful hot shower. We could pick up the wifi in our room and it was pretty quick. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was great value here compared to the other hotel we moved to because viewdeck were full. Definitely recommend :) It is a bit pricey but everywhere in the Philippines is. Also, the wifi in the whole of El Nido is terrible.
