There are still something better.
The place is on the business district itself. Very nice! The people there are super nice and is always smiling. One suggestion though, hot shower is not working.
Not enough generator to power up the hotel during brown outs
It's great with great view also and unlimited free coffee
Worth every peso for a nice, clean and friendly staff hotel. Very near to the shore and establishments so you don’t need to ride public transportation anymore because it’s near to everything. Did I say unlimited free coffee and tea? Oh yes! They even clean our room while island hopping. Thank you Garnet Hotel for a wonderful experience!
Very clean room and kind staffs
Friendly staff and clean surroundings
We arrived past midnight and the receptionist was very kind to assist us to have the family room, because we initially rented 2 rooms and we were 3 in the group. I would recommend this place as the location is very accessible and let you have a vast choices of food and cuisine.
A great price for a budget traveller. free flow of coffee and tea. the room always clean everyday and they changed the towel and the blanket everyday. very near the port and beach, in the center of all restaurants and shops. will surely go back again next time
The staff are very accommodating!

Never in that hotel . Worse place to deal with.
We booked room by Agoda. On The Day when we were suppose to arrive there was tropical depression in Area of El Nido. There were no boats going to Palawan at all. No boats for 2 days. We contacted Agoda, than hotel and even if we called before check in time they haven't return the money for booking. Hotel policy is non refundable and we can understand that but in such situation ... and they had plenty of free rooms. We pleased couple of.times without results. Unkind and rude .

I stayed there last weekend September 8-10, 2017. STAFF: The staff was accommodating. She provided assistance about island tours and possible souvenir shops nearby. ROOM: The room itself was very basic. It had a fan and aircon. There were power outages in the area but well, I did not stay in the hotel the entire day, most of the time, I was outside enjoying the view/people. The CR had bidet so plus points for me. The internet was very bad though. LOCATION: It was 20 meters near beach front and there were a lot of restos and souvenir shops in the area. The only downside of the location was the sunset is covered by a big mountain so I needed to travel to Los Cabanas (this was public beach front) for me to cover that gorgeous sunset. But yes, the location was perfect. :) OVERALL: I rated it as "very good" because as a traveler, I really found the place accessible to island tours and other areas. There were outages but I was outside so I did not even feel it. The outages happened during afternoon. It was very basic but did not mind it. I am a budget traveler so I do not need fancy hotels. For as long as it is safe and accessible, Im good with it. Cheers!

Terrible service and too expensive.
We had the worst customer service we ever had in all of the Philippines. We had booked 3 nights. After 2 the girl at the reception told us someone else booked our room and we had to leave. Just leave. Like that. Or we could pay a lot more to get the family room. I told her well since you overbooked could we get the family room at the same rate as the room we previously booked. She did not want to. She did not want to accommodate us at all. She did not care. Apart from the terrible service, the rooms are small, too expensive and the TV is not working, nor is the Wi-fi. You can get a lot better for less money. Would not recommend to anyone.

Pricey, uncomfortable but Good Location.
Stayed here for one night as it was the cheapest hotel not booked up in a last minute situation. The hotel had great views of the ocean and located near the beach on the main little strip of El Nido - so I'll give them a thumbs up for location. Unfortunately the room quality did not match the price - so not good value for money. The running water when I was about to brush my teeth was yellow so didn't wash my face with it or didn't feel clean showering. Very small room, kind of stuffy and not very secure. Wanted to store my luggage somewhere safe with my valuables but unfortunately they did not provide this service. Had an ok sleep, bed sheets, room and hotel were clean. Lobby and lounge area was way too stuffy to chill in but the rooftop and balcony views were great! They had Wi-Fi, but it barely worked - don't expect phone networks or wifi to work in El Nido anyway - it's terrible! Overall Ok stay but would not return.

Garnet Hotel, El Nido
Do not dare to book a room in Garnet Hotel. The deluxe room i booked is apparently next to the reception at the ground floor, without window or proper ventilation. The room stinks and worst the water is really dirty. I could not stand to stay even a night so we moved out and gone through the hassle of finding another hotel at 2AM in the morning. The receptionist did nothing. I called Agoda and reported the case and to my dismay, the receptionist lied and told Agoda that they cleaned the room for me but i chose to leave. I felt that i was scammed, please be aware people.
