It was soooo cold but I guess it was not just Gecko Inn but the whole Sagada as we visited in January. The room is quite spacious for the 3 of us and clean though the shower heater was acting up during our stay. You need to make sure first that it was working before starting your bath ritual else you will freeze to death 😜. The caretaker was accomodating and the husband served as our driver and tourguide as well. The best treat for me was the unlimited free coffee.

Very accommodating owner
We did not really stayed at Gecko Inn but at Ms. Cana's house the owner of the inn. She offered their house because all the hotels and inns are fully booked. It was few walk away from echo valley the anglican church the hospital and the market. Ms. Cana's family are very accommodating I enjoyed their mini garden and her mom gave us pomegranates and even let us taste their kimchi!

Sooo Quiet
We arrived in Sagada around 5:30PM. We went first at the "centro" (central) to get registered and to get the map. There are a lot of inns just near centro however majority were already occupied, so we have decided to go away from centro and try our luck to get a vacant room for 2. Luckily we were able to get a private room in Gecko Inn. It is 350Php/head. PROS: -room had a small terrace -private C.R. -rooftop (get your clothes dry) -no check in/out time CONS: -hot shower is not working -at least basic amenities of an inn The owners of the inn were very accommodating, We had our breakfast ordered already so they can have it prepared the next day, It was just ok, usual breakfast(fried rice, egg, corned beef, ham,ETC), food rate was kinda pricey though. Over all for 2 nights stay in the inn, It was just fine, some place you can really rest. It was so quiet that you can even hear the other quests' voice even in a low tone staying at the other room.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The owner is very accommodating, she gladly asked us to check the rooms first before deciding. They have different room offers, 250 per head with common CR and they only have 2 private rooms(own CR) 350 per head. Since its getting dark we decided to get the private room. It was just beside the other private room which was taken when we arrived. The rooms were covered with pinewoods that made the temperature kinda warm than the expected Sagada temperature. It was just kinda odd because every time you talk or use the bathroom, it seemed to be heard all over the place. They don't have towel, tissue, soap, wifi. The blankets are though. If you are planning to have breakfast there, you have to have it planned at night so they can prepare it for tomorrow. The over all experience was good.

No geckos :)
The group stayed here since most of the inns in Sagada town are fully booked. The location is quite far from the town area and you have to rent their van to go in and out the town (where most of the tourist sites are located). The price is reasonable for the place. They also have bonfire place where you can keep yourself warm at night during socials. The staffs: Cana, her husband, and father are very accommodating. They help us with our concerns especially during dinner when most of the restaurants are closed. Cana's mother offered to cook for us.
