Very accommodating to stay, and the place is quiet.
The lodge's location is 15 minutes away from the town proper. You have to take a tricycle to get there. That's not a problem though because what we really did was just island hopping the entire morning till afternoon. They have generator working cold aircon too! The only downside is they don't have free breakfasts and the island tours they offer are somewhat pricey. We purchased 2 island tours from Coron Galeri. They have more affordable tours.
Value for money. No meals available in house but many food stores are available nearby to buy from
Very nice and clean guesthouse. Clean beddings too. Toilet bowl flush is not working though and they do not have hot shower but overall the stay there was great.

Great lodging for the price
This place is a house that they converted to a lodging house. From what I observed, it is manned by just two people with no professional hotel experience. But that doesn't make them any less helpful. My friend left her luggage in the van that we took from the airport. The manager was quick to find the driver of the van (I guess he knows everyone in Coron) and the luggage was returned promptly. As can be expected by a converted lodging house, furniture and facilities were not that excellent. But you get what you pay for, and more. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Other reviewers complained about the location. But I found it accessible. There were many tricycles available at any time of the day (and night). As we were traveling on a strict budget, this was the cheapest place we could find that had the best facilities for the price. I would stay here again.

Basic accommodation
This is a good choice if you are looking for a place to stay in Coron. The rooms are very basic and straight to the point. It is a short tricycle ride from the town proper. Just tell the van driver that you are staying at GLC lodge and they will drop you in front of the guest house.

Basic lodging at basic prices
If you want a clean room that sleeps 3 for close to $30, this is it. The room has 2 Queen beds and a single, running water and aircon plus fan in the room. It was fine for 3 of us on a medical team. Another couple took a smaller room and another male doctor took a single room. Yes it was a bit far from town. But the town has not much to offer anyway. Th family that owns and runs it is very pleasant. The son runs the van that offers rides to or from airport at going rate of 150 Php per person, 1 way. Across the street is a new restaurant called Lobster King where we had a feast at about US $16 per person with the smallest lobsters I'd ever seen but they were fresh and tasty. All other dishes here were good!

Not worth a try
I went here on November 2013. This is my second time in Coron. My first time was in 2011. Cons: 1.The location is far from the town proper. You have to take the tricycle to be at the center of town. Else, you have to walk for about 25 minutes. Given this, you are also far from the restaurants, Mt. Tapyas, travel agencies, and the churches. Beside this lodging house is Kokusnuss, but I didn't get the chance to drop by and check the place. 2. The only good restaurant nearby is Lobster King, which is a 2-4 minutes walk away. The lobster there is worth trying. 3. The lodging house itself is located in a compound with a shack-like place in front, and another lodging place at the back. Given that the place is far from "civilization", you also cannot go out at night in nearby places. 4. The lodging only offers breakfast. They don't have a canteen inside so you really have to go out to dine. This is ok for lunch since you are most likely out for island tours (island tours already have lunch buffet in their package). But for dinner, you have to go to town to eat. Pros: 1. The rooms are clean and new though. The only thing that saves this lodging house is it's still new and clean. i.e. The bed mattress albeit thin, still feels sturdy and not beaten up. The room is small though. 2. The toilet fixtures are still new. The wall paints and tiles are still shiny and new. The room has a window-type aircon (3 HP i think), an electric fan, and a television. They don't have hot shower though. They have bath towels, and offer the basic toilet amenities, i.e. body soap, toothbrush, and toothpaste. 3. They have complimentary breakfast. On the first day, we were served 2 hotdogs, a dried fish (danggit), a sunny side up egg, and a cup of plain rice. On the second day, we were served 2 sweet hams, a dried fish (danggit), a sunny side up egg, and a cup of plain rice. Instant coffee is also complimentary. 4. They have airport transfers. Will I go back again? Probably not because there are better lodging places that are of the same price range but you get more bang for your buck. i.e. you are located at the town proper (and you get to save on your transportation fare of PHP10 per trike ride per pax), some lodging places have bigger rooms, and have a hot shower also.
