Winner View, But Nothing Else
The room was spacious for two, view from the terrace was amazing. The staff were friendly, I had a cake which they kindly stocked in their refrigerator. My only complain was the bed sheets! Smelled like it hasn't been changed for weeks! Smelled like people (you know what I mean).

Good vibes
This is a small hotel with reasonably priced rooms. It's right on the beach and on the main road that goes around the island. It's easy to reach with a tricycle or a truck. The owner and his wife are really sweet and relaxed and give a good vibe to the place. Rooms are clean and spacious, there's hammocks around, and a couple of restaurants a very short walk from the hotel. Can't recommended the vegan place that offers diner next to the place enough ! There's also someone renting bikes right next to the place and a small shop. Last but not least, you can watch the sunset from the beach or the balcony !

Definitely good vibes at this inn!
Good Vibes Inn is a new, beach-front inn located in San Juan, Siquijor. The night before I was due to arrive in Siquijor, I received an email from Magnus, the owner, saying that they were unfortunately double-booked so my room, which I booked 2 wks ahead, wasn’t available. I emailed back saying that I needed to know what options they had for me since I was arriving soon. Magnus said he was working things out to make sure I had somewhere to stay. I was only going to be in Siquijor for 2 nights. When I arrived, Magnus did find a place for me to stay for my 1st night, which he covered. He was apologetic, explaining that his inn is fairly new, just opening up in Nov 2016. With that, he was having some challenges with bookings from various sites, which is why the double-booking happened. I totally understood & was just grateful that he was able to find a place for me for the night. For my 2nd night, I was finally able to check in to his place. I was really glad that I got to stay at his place even for 1 night. The room with private bath that I stayed in was fairly new, very clean, very comfortable, and has a small balcony with chairs & a table overlooking the ocean. There are lots of windows that allow fresh air to come in, but there’s also a ceiling fan. Despite initial issues with my booking, the room, the location, but especially the customer service shown by Magnus was excellent & worthy of 5 stars. I'd definitely stay here again. Definitely good vibes here!

Lovely place full of good vibes
Lovely place managed by a lovely couple and their family. I stopped by because of the name and i was not disappointed as there are real good vibes there. Affordable price for a really nice private room and private bathroom, with a balcony and awesome seaview. It's the first time i spend so much time in my room, could not get tired if this view! Nice chilling area on the beach with hammocks. I recommend it!

Value for money
Nice little motel just a 15 minute walk north of San Juan – nice room, overlooking the beach so a really amazing view, little balcony, clean, bed not super comfy and my friend and I had to share a double, towels provided, no water in the morning and power went off at night around 1am – so the fan goes off, which means it’s super hot then! Warm-ish shower (once the water comes on, around 10am) but the pressure isn't great ... I struggled to get water at one point … a lot of ants in the bathroom, but they don’t really bother you. The room isn't cleaned during your stay either - which isn't too much of a problem (as we were only there 3 days), but it would have been nice for the bathroom bin to have been emptied (bearing in mind you can't put toilet paper down the toilet!). Nice little outside area, with hammocks overlooking the ocean and a bring your own bar, little BBQ area with fairy lights over the bar, very chilled and would have been nice had there been a few more people! Run by a Swedish guy and his Filipino family (and their really cute puppy!) - all super lovely and helpful when asked questions (couldn't do enough for you … the little boy even ran down the street to find us a trike!) … although it would have been even better had they volunteered some info about what to see and do - or had an information board. We arrived at the start of Holy Week (which also meant accommodation was scarce - so if you're doing the same, book early!) and found out later that week that there was a festival up the mountain the night we got there, with local fire dancing, Bolo Bolo healers and stuff to signify the start of the Week festivities - would have been really cool to go. We only found out by going to JJ Backpackers up the road - they had a list of all the stuff going on that you could go to. Would definitely recommend JJ’s – even if you’re not staying there, they have a cool cafe/restaurant right on the beach, where you can sunbathe and swim (nice food - but more expensive than we had been paying at the local places). There’s also more of a traveller vibe, with more people to talk to and have a beer with whilst watching the sun set. The local BBQ places 100 meters down the street from Good Vibes were great though - bits of BBQ meat for 50 pesos and GA-AY in particular do amazing freshly cooked veg stirfrys.
