It’s a very nice hotel, modern, new. The room is good size and clean. Bed is comfortable. There is a slight smell in my room. At night, the neighbors were very loud past midnight so I think the sound proof is not great. Other than that, it's a great place to stay. I was surprised this is a 3 star not a 4 star hotel.

The Grand Westside Hotel is a new property in Manila and so looks very nice, clean, and is functional (no deteriorating faucets, doors/door handles, finishes etc). The breakfast area is very spacious and the food choices are quite varied. We found the service to be very good even in the face of challenges (such as checking in a plane full of passengers from a cancelled flight). We did not get to take advantage of the pool due to the rainy season however it looked very nice from our room window. A great choice for sure.

Beautiful property, close to the airport. Loved their free shuttle to and from the airport. The buffet food was good. But I wish theres more affordable options. The only issues are the rooms are small and had musty smells. You can smell the bad odour in the hallway as well.

Our stay at the hotel was alright - good buffet breakfast, comfortable beds (although the room was on the smaller side), and great location.
However, when trying to avail for the free airport shuttle please do keep in mind that it is first come first serve. This wasn't upheld in our case as we had been waiting since 730 for the 830 shuttle and had let a staff member know. When it came time for the shuttle, they almost didn't allow us in, but did let another group who arrived at around 8 in. It was quite the frustrating ordeal. This could have easily been resolved had the queueing process been more organized.
