Nice room but no tv. Foods are tasty but a little bit expensive. There are lot of activities, nice pool and we enjoyed our forest tour.
9.0
I love the native-inspired accommodations ( Classic Casitas), numerous beach and water sports ( Kayak, Banana Boat, etc), diverse activities ( forest and river tours) and most importantly the food ( it's pricey but worth every penny... the soft-shelled crabs, egg omelet and smoothies are "a must try"! I would recommend to have a private vehicle because of the location.

A worthy vacation
It may be an hour away from Davao City but the trip is so worth it. We stayed in their Premium Casita which is so nice and big. It is like having your own home in the resort. Aside from the nice pool and the beach to enjoy, they offer some activities and guided tours within the plantation. We opted to have the forest tour which gifted us with the sight of monkeys and wild boars within the plantation. It is just an amazing experience. Though the beach area is not at its best during our stay ( Habagat ) it did not hinder us from enjoying the fresh air while strolling along the beach. The staffs are really friendly and nice too. I would love to go back here and enjoy a longer vacation.

Need some time off? This is the perfect place you.
Place: Great We stayed overnight (Friday-Saturday) but the place was not crowded at all! Accomodation: The Premium Casita is really nice; big bed with a couch that is also a makeshift bed plus a pull-out. The bathroom is big (and super clean). Food: Awesome One thing I really appreciate in this resort is the quality of food they serve. Though the dishes are not extraordinary, the management made sure you get really GOOD food. Price? Affordable! (I highly recommend the Beef Salpicao!) Bar: Open 24/7 *wink* Staff: The friendliest staff I've encountered! Every single person in the resort is really courteous. Overall: The place really did not disappoint. Worth the 4-hour trip! (Gensan to Tagum)

kids' favorite
Highlights: great pool, ambience, the simple accomodation with no t.v. but with mosquitero (mosquito net). Our kids just love playing underneath the mosquitero. It was their first time to see such.At first, we were disappointed that there was no t.v. but later appreciated it was that way because we had a lot of fun taking turns to tell a story. The forest tour with the 9 hanging bridges is also recommended. Our kids love it so much especially when they saw monkeys and wild pigs on the road. The food is also yummy. Needs improvements: food servings are a bit small in relation to its prices. The water in the bathroom smells bad, perhaps its the source and im not sure if they can do something fast to fix it. Service is good but still can be improved. For the breakfast, we had buffet but it was a manged arrangement. They had assigned someone to put your viands on your plate. I find it very ineffecient and not nice to look at. Also, I wish they add more fruits on the buffet especially banana since it is an agri resort. Nevertheless, our over-all stay had been very good.

Forest Tour didn't disappoint
It was our 5th trip to this resort about an hour and a half away from our home in Davao City. We had relatives from Manila and a balikbayan aunt who came to visit last March, thus, we thought of showing them this banana plantation cum resort. Although we didn't swim in the pool, we just walked by the seashore and yes, collected some shells for our little ones ( my aun'ts grandkids back home). We haven't had the opportunity to try the forest tour in the last 4 visits we had. We have tried almost all the amenities/activities here, except this one. We're glad we tried it the last visit and it didn't disappoint. Our tour guides were very warm, knowledgable and accommodating. We enjoyed the amazon-ish jungle, the hanging bridge, the large anahaw plants, the varied forest plants and bamboos and all the excitement that went with it. We were taken to sightings also of some friendly monkeys and boars on our way to the tour. There were also mangroves - big and old and of course, the hundreds of rows of banana and coconut trees lined up in the sprawling property was a sight to behold. Food was good in the restaurant but I agree that some of the dishes we find too pricey. Our favorite hands-down is their "banana chips/fritters." Yummy! The waitstaff/resto staff were also friendly and service-oriented. When we went that time, it seemed 2 of those left in the counter when we were finalizing our bill were just new, but nevertheless, they explained everything that we had to pay after some time. Oh, by the way, our aunts ( all senior citizens) enjoyed the forest tour as well. They still can keep up with all those walking! One of the best they had. We took pictures to capture all those moments. Tips for improvement : more variety in restaurant food and upkeep and maintenance of the restrooms.
