Budget friendly and accommodating owner and staff
I was actually stressed on our first night's stay because: *there was a blackout at 9pm, they have NO generator! chose this place as it can all accommodate us in one room: were 2 families with 4-5 members each - 2 toddlers. They can't do anything - owner was out of town. Contacted the owner myself and have not heard a word. We began searching for other accommodations and coz its labor day holiday twas very difficult and if we found one, twas sooo expensive. When finally had found about 11:30pm, lights came back. We were so tired hunting so we decided to stay at their place as they say that it is unusual for Boracay to have a blackout. Prior to that, I had a smooth transaction with the owner booking two rooms first 7 days before our arrival she gladly accepted our reservation without the advance payment, trusting our conversation. But we had to cancel the other room the day we arrived. Still it was okay with her. In any other places, a full payment or downpayment at that part of the year is really necessary. We had no problems with the accommodation since it was waay too spacey for us :). The rooms have 2 big bathrooms, 1 big TV, 1 big fridge, 2 queen sized double decked beds and they also gave us an extra queen size mattress. They provide water dispensers at the rooms private balcony, a dining table and coffee mugs, spoons and forks. Its really a big plus if your group is big. On the beachfront, you can find the place by passing through the road beside Sands Hotel, about 3-5 mins walk. Quite tiring actually if you have kids with you :( It was actually more convenient for us to ride tricycles going to station 1 and walking back towards station 3, where we could find food places and things to shop etc.. The place quite lost its charm actually, you can see that it was left off and not improved by the owners. If this can be renovated and re arranged would be nice. They don't have wi-fi in the rooms, you have to go near the front desk to access wi-fi.

a peaceful and nice place
we stayed here 4 days 3 nights, family rooms here are one of the best because it has 2 bathrooms, the hotel is near the road and a few minutes walk to beach , located at the back of Sands Hotel , it is also near the main road , there are stores and souvenir shop there . you can also tell to the staff to cook for you with a minimal service fee table and utensils are provided by the staff. it is one of the best place to stay in boracay . so book now !!

Friendly place
My husband and I got lost at first because of its interior location plus a slightly faded and unnoticeable signboard. It was good that they have a cheerful Rosela around who welcomed and accommodated us. She even transferred us to a bigger room for the same amount. For budget conscious traveller, i recommend this place. It was really a holiday home with friendly people whom you may also consider a family away from home. Since we were always out most of the time, we did not require much services, but i would say that this place offers more than what you paid for.

Great Boracay escape place for budget family expenses
We stayed in this resort for 4 nights and we truly enjoyed our stay at Holiday Homes de Boracay. It is located at Station 3 and will take about more or less 20 mins to get at station 1 & 2 where most of the shops and other activities happened especially at night. You have to walk at least 4 mins to get at the front beach for a swim or sun bathing. What really good at station 3 is not crowded and most importantly our accommodation is not expensive and ideally preferred for a family of 8 with budgeted expenses. Room is very clean, linens and towels are new( fresh white new colors). We have stayed in a Family room with 1 Queen size, 1 double deck queen size beds and 1 extra queen size beds at the floor with 2 bathrooms, 12 cubic ft refrigerator and 40” inches LED TV. What enjoyable experiences on our stay added is the super deluxe services rendered by the caretaker couple named GARY and NINA BERNAL. They are really very accommodating and very attentive to any of our special requests or needs. It is located at E mall/old talipapa where you can find lots of souvenir shops and stores. It is also near public markets where you can purchase fresh sea foods, meats, fruits and veggies. You can also arrange for Gary to cook it for you at minimum acceptable fee for cooking. All in all it was indeed a great experience we have at this white sand beach of Boracay and will definitely come back again to this resort.

Sulit!
The family and I plus the brother's girlfriend - total of 6 pax - went to Boracay just recently - April 25 to April 28 2014. Peak Season. We did not have any accommodation reserved because all the accommodations online were full. We went anyway! At the Caticlan jetty port for Boracay Island, we had to fill up a form that needed the name of our accommodation. I said we did not have one and luckily the government of caticlan has free assistance to help you find an accommodation for free. I forgot the nice lady's name. We went to 3 hotels and hostels and found our luck on the fourth one. It was in Holiday Homes de Boracay at Station 3. It was a room for 6 people for only 3,000 per night! It had one double deck double width bed and one double bed, and enough space for us to move around. Pro's: cheap, good service, nice owner, cable tv, clean bathroom, there is a sink and they let you borrow glasses and plates, add 100 for 5 gallons of drinking water, aircon and fan available Con's: no hot and cold (but no biggie), the airconditioning adjusts itself to 27 degrees, only 2 towels are provided. cable tv not so clear (but who needs tv in Boracay), tap water smells of chlorine, no pool It is ideal for a budget traveler.
