Highly recommended! Staffs are friendly and nice. No need to ask someone to clean as they have initiative to do that. Great and comfortable to stay!

im staying here for 3 nights and my room doesn't have a window. I asked for one on my 2nd night but they could not transfer me to one. not a happy camper here.
Highly recommended! Staffs are friendly and nice. No need to ask someone to clean as they have initiative to do that. Great and comfortable to stay!
The hotel is located in the center where you can find lots of food establishments from restaurants to stalls, varieties of malls, and even clubs. It is also very near to massage establishments such as Nuat Thai. The staffs were very friendly and accommodating, even offered me medicine since I was not feeling well that time. My 3 days stay was awesome. I would definitely recommend! Oh by the way, they don't offer toiletries, only tissue so please be prepared in case.
A great place to stay at affordable price
Everything was great. No noise from the street despite the window facing the street. Thin walls so you will hear your neighbor. But I would still recommend it.
Really like staying here but why do you guys never provide toiletries?
Value for money, and the food at the lobby is affordable and really a thumbs up!
Good place to stay. Will definitely come back.
Simple and nice, very clean and very reasonably priced.
No basic toiletries, just tissue paper.

Exceptional for the price and location!
I reviewed this hotel last year and it was average. But they improved way a lot! Pros: spotless clean, cheap for its prime location, great (but a bit pricey) restaurant, superb staff, spacious rooms, fast wifi Cons: cold floor (wish they put carpet or anything to warm the floor), no slippers (that's why cold), no dental kits and coffee/tea maker, water takes a while to warm The cons do not really matter for the value it delivers.

smart hotel
Good location for night life. Check in was fine, need a refundable deposit for key. Room was good, nice big comfy bed. Good aircon, safe deposit box, large TV with plenty of channels. Other reviews mention that it's hard to close the shower door.....I thought that was a fat mans problem BUT it's not. It's not impossible but it is a tight squeeze to open or close the door once you are in the shower. Can get a bit noisy out in the corridors, or maybe I just picked a bad few nights? Yes, I would stay here again.

Nice Hotel, conveniently located
I stayed when an overnight between flights was required. I had less than 24 hours in the city and the Hotel Durban worked out well. I did not want to stay at the airport as I wanted to see a little of Manila while there. The hotel is very clean - rooms are small but comfortable. Visited the Salcedo market Saturday morning. Stopped by the Greenbelt Mall then back to the airport.

High or Low
I stay here quite offen 6 to 12 times a year and some reviews will be 5 star and some 2, but one thing that is always 100% is the restaurant if it was nit for that I think I would have found another hotel. Their booking system is not up to standard as I just experienced this trip I had specifically requested NO first floor rooms and guess what I ended up with yes a room on 1st floor. If you get 2nd or 3th floor rooms away from the newly installed lift the stay is a 5 star but get a 1st floor or a room opposite the elevator the stay are 1 star (2 star saved by the best restaurant in this part Manila.) The staff is friendly but this is also slipping, the service has declined over the past 4 years. There are no personal service any more to the point where they might have a robot doing the chick in and out (a friendly robot i must admit) the staff just can't do anything for you other than recite the hotel mantra/regulations. The hotel has real potentail and I will most likely be back next month again, hope that will be a 5 star experience. Bit this one definitely wasn't.

A jewel in the city of Makati
I stayed at the Durban from May 2 to July 15, 2017 with my wife. We stayed there in 2016 also. In the heart of the financial district. Easily accessible to many locations on foot. Great value for money. Friendly staff. Clean rooms with plenty of hot water. Excellent air conditioning. And, one of the best Italian restaurants in Manila having spent 10 years living in Makati previously. Cleaners are next door. Will go back again in 2018 for our annual visit.
