It's okay, if you are looking for a cheap hotel.
All is well except there is only one ashtray at the smoking area. There is only one waiter serving the dining.
The hotel is fine but not good at all.
Bad experience, we ate spoiled garlic rice. No one came to us to explain or apologize for what happen. The waiter only said to us, offer plain rice na lang daw. My companion got stomachache.
What you pay is what you get. If your looking for a cheap price, don't expect too much.
Great! Very nice stay. Book your now!
The hotel and the staff are good. Food and facilities are not.

I've stayed here with my wife because she wanted to have a short staycation and swim. Got disappointed with the pool, no wonder that room was empty. Jacuzzi wasnt running and even the sauna and steam bath was in need of repair or maintenance. The room we stayed at also is pretty basic. Bathroom is small, they only have 3 pillows which are not comfortable as well. The comforter is not even a comforter, it is a bed sheet put on top of the original sheet. No view at all even though it is on the 6th floor and we even requested that on the booking itself. Breakfast was a disappointment too. Not too many choices on their buffet. I love the eggs, though i could make that at home too. If you need a stay for the night, this hotel would do. But if you're looking for something else, then dont book here.

Internationals beware
This hotel was my first impression of Manila & the Philippines. Sadly, there's some making up to do. First, the room. When I walked in, the porter was very kind and set up the television and air con. Yet, looking around, the lighting was yellowy-and-pasty. The window faced a cement wall, so there was no view. At all. I had no idea what time was, ever. And the shower-water was always tepid at best, though I preferred ice cold water for the showers. But for me, the crux of the matter was what happened at the end of my time in Manila. The moment I checked into the hotel, I asked for a shuttle back to the airport in two day's time. They told me that the best they had was not a shuttle (which was advertised) but rather, they would book me a taxi. So that is what I had asked for. The next evening, the evening before I left, I asked the front desk how much the taxi would cost. They told me a price range and said, "we'll see you at 6:30 tomorrow morning." Tomorrow morning came, and I had approached the desk the check out and asked about the taxi. Since it was 6:15, I was told to get breakfast and that "We'll get you when it arrives." By 7:10, it hadn't arrived. Approaching the desk, I asked them about the taxi, and the poor woman at the desk--her face blanched. They didn't book me a taxi. So I said, "my flight takes off in two hours. Today is Monday and we're in the middle of QC. I wish it wasn't this way." Within two minutes my taxi had arrived. I was thankful for the taxi. Yet the stresses caused by this story is unnecessary. Overall, my experience with Icon was rather poor. The room was unwelcoming and humid, and the desk was irresponsible. I really wish my experience with Icon wasn't this way. I don't know if I will ever willingly visit Manila again

As expected...
Flew to Manila for personal matter and decided to stay at ICON timog for two.nights before I head to pampanga. Pictures looks great. Best way to communicate to customers. Service is normal at.check in. They requested me to screenshot my.booking online and email to them.....that's a first!!!! I find it comical as I asked the front desk why since they had me on their record. The lady responded "your suppose to print it when you book it". I wasn't upset as its not.her fault to respond or ask.me to email to them....its her management who trains her or its just their hotel policy. Nevertheless, check in was bland. The challenge was looking for your room in your floor that your assigned..the room number directional is so complicated that who ever.designed it.forgot that there's real travels out there who just wants to get into their room and not have to walk around the whole floor. The next morning, I ate breakfast as it was.offered with my reservation.....nowhere to sit so I sat myself at the lobby. I sat there while I wait for my omelet to be cooked.....unfortunately I had two.servings of juice and finished my breakfast and I did not see my omelet. As I.brought my own plate back at the dining area, the cook rushed to me with the omelet. I had to turn it down as I was done eating...... Decided to write a review even though I was staying one more night and was planning to add another night. I figured I stopped expecting much from this motel. On a positive note, the motel is very accessible to taxi, uber, grab, etc.. and is surrounded by good restaurants and entertainment.

Had lots of problems with Icon Hotel. I did the reservation via TripAdvisor and when I was about to confirm my reservation, they told me that they haven't received it even I have a copy of the confirmation on my email. I even talked to some representatives from the Central Reservation to verify it and it took them 2hrs before they saw the booking under my name. I arrived around 4 in the afternoon. The Hotel looks good, it's bigger than any other hotels. I paid 1,760 php and I believe it is a premium room. They have free toothbrush, toothpaste soap and shampoo. The complimentary mineral water " Summit " doesn't taste like it's a mineral water.. It tastes like it's from the faucet and I even complained about it but no one aasisted me. The aircon is very small like a window type and it doesn't work well. I called the front desk and she told me that she will ask so someone can assist me but no one visited to help me on this matter. The bathroom is dirty and lots of hair on the floor. And it's very noisy even if I am inside the room. You can hear their stuffs talking out loud at the hallway and it's annoying! I think I paid too much and it's not even worth the price. I just like the idea of having a buffet breakfast. Recommend it to others? NO Way!

cant go wrong with Icon
Stayed 4 nights in this hotel this week. Got the premier room for only 1,480 a night thru Agoda...king bed, small TV, small bathroom, slippers, safety box, hair dryer, toiletries, complimentary bottled water, and newspaper (1 time)... really hard to complain especially with free buffet breakfast for 2. Window-type aircon was cool and clean. The only downside i can think of is the room does not have a window. Behind a curtain is a glass but too dark to see behind it. Could be facing a wall of the glass windows was just sort of decoration. nobody fixed the room on the 2nd day until i requested for it. must be upon request, but i dont know. i saw a couple litte buggers(small cockroaches) crawling on the floor but no biggie, cost them a star. But still i would recommend this hotel to my friends. Ps. Great location just at the corner of T.Morato and Timog Ave. their restaurant serve great bistek tagalog and bulalo and is open 24hrs
