Worst hotel ever!!!
Worst experience ever!!! I constantly travel and have stayed in a lot of hotels in the Philippines and abroad. I never blogged or write or even say ill of anyone but this was over the top and I have to at least share our horrendous experience to warn other people. Last Saturday, July 8, 2017, I stayed in the Imperial Palace Suites with my sister and my 4-year old niece. Got to the place around 6pm and to our surprise - the hotel was in a total power black out! They were the only one that didn't have electricity in the area. The hotel main door was closed and the staff and the guards did not allow us to come in, even with a little child. We had to look for places to stay and wait until they'd get the power back on. My poor niece was already falling asleep in the convenience store where we stopped to wait. After almost three hours, and a number of walks back and forth to check if power was back, finally we were able to go inside the hotel. Once inside, we still had to wait a while because they said their systems were still down and they couldn't give us any key card. Then after a while again we were able to finally go to our room only to find out that we got hoaxed by them advertising for 2 queen sized beds but the beds were actually just 2 double sized beds!! And it didn't end there, electrical sparks were coming out of the light switch so we had to satisfy ourselves with a poorly lit room. And wait there's more! The room obviously was not checked and prepared coz it didn't even have towels and slippers! And still it didn't end there, the toilet flush was not working properly!!! Called the front desk to express our discontent and asked if they had the decency to at least recover for the inconvenience they have caused us - the staff could only say sorry and could not decide on anything because the manager was not even around!!! Finally we could not bear to stay long and decided to check out early. It was the worst hotel I have ever seen and experienced in my entire life and that is without exaggeration! Do not be fooled by the nice photos they advertise.

Very disappointing.
They even call it a palace? Very poor Wifi, lack of room amenities, no breakfast offers and AC unit not in good condition. Not only that... Booked an overnight stay for a couple friend. Before we left, the lobby person talked to us about the 'supposed to be charges' per pax since there's visitors coming, but manager at the lobby assures us that they're not gonna charge as long as visitors are not staying til 10pm (which we did btw). Then the following day couple called lobby for early check out and they were informed that the hotel will be charging them double to total amount paid because of the visitors but have to review the charges first. As couple coudn't stay any further and conversation gets longer, in the end, the hotel decided to not charge them. This experience is very disappointing as well as the management and hotel's services. Wasted time and gave stress to my pregnant friend. Not gonna recommend this hotel anymore. Not gonna come back again. Not a good value for money. 🙁

4 nights-spacious room
Booked 2 rooms for 6 of us. Request adjoining rooms but not available. Wifi very poor. Each day we have to log in new password. They didn't top up toilet rolls Abd other toiletries unless we request. Beds are comfortable and the room is quite spacious.

Family Reunion
Hotel needs improvement. Room is rather large but is There was smell coming out of the sewer in bathroom area, poor sound proofing because we can hear all night party music across club and very poor room/customer service.

Big but unclean and lacking in amenities
I booked this room on the basis that it was big. I also liked what I saw in the pictures. It's what you will get but upon closer inspection this is where you will see the flaws and they outweigh the good points. I'm not a choosy or picky person but having recently stayed at Brentwood Suites our stay at Imperial Palace Suites was definitely a downer. The room is big which is great but the floor is dirty and it's the kind of floor that gets dirty quickly. I was a little disgusted with it so I asked my kids to wear slippers at all times. The ref is working but tilting. Bed is alright but can tell the sheets have been stained MANY times. The tables (all 3) are old, chipped and glass seems smudgy and dirty even when I clean it. I had to repeatedly wipe and clean everything down from the tables to the floor. The TV is a branded one BUT the cable reception was pretty poor. The worst thing for me was the bathroom. I DID NOT like it. There was a smell that seemed to never go away. The hot water takes some time to work. They only provide a certain number of towels and then charge you after the first extra towel. No ice since the kitchen was unfortunately closed. We were there specifically to enjoy the fireworks for New Year's but I was given a mountain view instead of a city view after I had already called twice to confirm. The penthouse is closed so no chance to view the fireworks from there. Another downer was the internet. Intermittent if any and only 2 devices allowed per room. The only 2 things I was after was cable and internet and both were disappointing fails. The pool was so so. Overall would not recommend staying here.
