There's Plenty to like at Isla
A couple of nights stay at Isla Cabana was what I needed to decompress from a hectic week. Check in was smooth and friendly. We had a large room with a double bed and a single bed with lots of counter space, a decent closet and couple of drawers. It was a well appointed room with nice white linens, robes, slippers, towels and toiletries. I liked the vaulted ceiling with fan and the AC. The white walls were a nice contrast to the brown stained wood throughout the room. They offered room service and in-room massage. Ask for Gloria. Cold water stored in the fridge was complimentary. Their restaurant, which has a fairly extensive menu, faces the pool and water and a breathtaking view at sundown. A buffet breakfast of Filipino and Continental specialties came with our room rate. I love that this place is low key, relaxing and very well maintained. I couldn't have asked for more!

Bad service from manager and staff did not recognise me as a guest
Im really sad to give this luxury hotel a bad review only becos of one person. First of all, the receptionists, housekeeping and bar staff were so friendly. I had made friends with them in my stay there. Everyone was all smiles and polite. Except for one, the manager. I had called them for a pick up from the port on the day of our arrival, when i got there there was a van who said he was from isla cabana. The transport is free stated on the website but later on the day i found out the van person was a 3rd party so we ended up paying the hotel. Now my issue is, i BOOKED for transport and but no one from ISLA CABANA picked us up. Lucky that van was there or we would not get to our hotel. We paid anyway BUT IT WAS NOT OUR FAULT! The manager showed no consideration and she obviously just wants to take our money. Second bad thing is that when we ordered snacks it took them 1 hour to come and it was bland. Halo halo was disappointing and so were the clubhouse sandwhiches. After eating we left our plates and no one took it until i complained the next day. We stayed in Isla Daku and we paid alot for this villa but they were prioritising "celebrity" and "politician" guests. One housekeeper was in an out a villa and they didnt bother for us cos we were not high profile. We should be given the same treatment becos we are paying guests too. One time, i was having breakfast, they thought i was an outsider and ask me to pay i said i am staying in one of the villas. Meaning they only recognised celebrities and politicians. Although one staff recognised me and apologised. But apart from all of that, our villa was amazing. Whirpool/jacuzzi with a view. Spacious indoor/outdoor shower. Bed was super comfy and again great sunrise view from my room. Good selection for breakfast and different each day. Most Staff were so funny and happy!

Superb dining experience. Dine together with my visitors from CHED. Good Ambiance, sumptuous food. The ambiance was cool as it was evening. Great for family, teams, business. For guest, you pay an entrance fee which is also consumable for your food.

Well designed cottages with a great view of the waves of Gen Luna. Surfers’ paradise, kudos to the very friendly staff. Perfect weekend with my son esp late afternoon kayaking. Bit pricey tho... Well done.

Amazing View and Accommodating Staff!
We stayed at Guyam 1 for 2 nights, 3 days. This cabana is literally in front of the beach and the resort's pool, and it is located in the side of the resort's restaurant. The room was very clean, relaxing, and very spacious. It is indeed an expensive resort, but for me, I got what I paid for. The resort is very close to Cloud 9 and walking distance to Kermit Restaurant, Mama's Grill, and Bravo Restaurant. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and hospitable. The only thing that disappointed us was the fact that the Wifi was not working at all in our Cabana. We had to go to the restaurant to access it. Tip: Airport shuttle service is available upon request. Ours was free because if I heard the staff right, it was due to the fact that we stayed for 2 nights. So call the resort ahead of time to arrange the shuttle for pick up and drop off. The number I used to call them is +63 928 559 5244.
