Our stay at Secret Cove Beach Resort was great. The room was clean and above our expectation. The owner and his staff were very helpful and accommodating. We didn't get to try their food because we had to tour a lot. I would recommend this place to other travelers.

I wouldn't leave, literally.
I was only planning to stay in Camiguin for four days to do the free dive course at the resort...but that turned into a couple of weeks. This place has such a chill, laid back vibe you turn into mush within days from being so relaxed. The sunsets from here can be matched by nothing, everyone stops what they're doing to come watch. They have Yoga right on the beach some nights or in the "finspiration studio" in the mornings. The freedive course is a sort of a soul-searching challenge that helps you connect with your body and learn to calm yourself enough to be able to hold your breath and trust yourself- Diggi was an awesome instructor, I truly didn't believe I could learn to stop freaking out underwater, but alas I did ! As for the hotel, the rooms are super cute with personalized touches and a fun beachy style, comfy beds, AC avail ,nice hot water showers, I loved the little porch area with the water view-great place to read a book or write. The restaurant is awesome, a delicious mix of anything you want, fresh butter, eggs, & awesome specials, I loved every meal. Agh I never wanted to leave. Thanks Val and Diggi!

Magical place with the best vibes ever!
We had an amazing stay at the secret cove, also called "kurma" and under new management of the amazing Valerie and Deeke. They were so welcoming and helpful, totally made us feel like home. The room was so nice- steps away from the beach, clean, beautifully decorated with this charming beachy vibe. Excellent shower, aircon and even cable t.v (which was great on a day i didn't feel good). The food was amazing and fresh and the atmosphere in the restaurant was always laid back and fun. When we left Camigiun Deeke told us we're gonna miss it and he was so right! Looking forward to come back again (but for Deekes singing- not so much 🙉). Thank you guys gor everything!

Cozy and warm place in Camiguin
Stayed here for one night with a friend two weekends ago. The place is currently transitioning following its new management and there was an ongoing photo and video shoot while we were there. My friend booked a room with two beds, but because their online details haven't been updated yet (hence the shoot) we were initially welcomed into a room with only one bed. When we raised this concern, they immediately addressed it without hesitation and we came back to two beds after watching the sunset at White Island. I think the aircon to be checked, though, since it it didn't really cool the room but the room wasn't that warm either; I didn't really mind since we only stayed for a night. The owners and staff were all very accommodating and always asked us if we needed help with anything. The owners, Diggi and Valerie, were such warm people to talk to, and Naomi was also very helpful. Lucy (I hope I remembered her name correctly!) served our food during dinner was very thoughtful. Their menu had very healthy options that were priced reasonably and used ingredients that were sourced locally. My friend and I kept raving about how good and fresh everything was, and their resident chef Ai was such a nice person, too! I think they had an event the following weekend and I would've gone if it wasn't for work! That's how much I liked being here hahaha. Will definitely come back to this place. :)

I have been to Secret Cove many times in the past but this was the first time that I stayed in the place. I was told that Secret Cove is now managed by Diggi and Valerie Asch and the changes that they have done to the place is really nice. For one thing, the place is more COLORFUL and bright with some interesting murals painted on the walls. It is a small and cozy place with no frills but has the basic amenities one needs for a vacation in an island. I understand that they just started re-opening the restaurant and I really liked all the food I tasted during our 3 day stay there. I am not a vegetarian but I enjoyed ALL THEIR VEGETARIAN food so much so I did not notice that during my stay there, I did not eat any meat. They do have some meat dishes but for a change, I wanted to try their vegetarian food. I especially loved their salad made of local veggies and their Creole style prawns as well as their fish dishes. I understand that they are still in the process of doing more improvements and renovations to the place like lighting their signage in the evening. We missed the place when we were going back in the evening because the signage was not lighted. Value for money, I think it is a nice place to stay and chill and enjoy the fantastic sunset every evening. Who needs 5 star comfort in an island? The sunset is enough for me.

A little few more improvements needed
PROS: Location is great - near the airport, White Beach, Ardent Hot Spring, restaurants and bars (don't expect too much though). Room is spacious enough and the decorative details look nice. Bathroom is clean. Service is great. Food is okay. CONS: Cleanliness - I saw some long hair on the bed under the blanket upon checking when we arrived. Big ants come out in the bathroom a couple of times. Shower drain is pretty slow. Aircon is not big enough for the room. If not for the CONS, I'll say that I got my money's worth.
