It was raining but we still enjoy our stay. The room were nice, friendly staff and the food are a bit costly. We will definitely visit again.
8.5
The place is great but the food is so pricey.

Bathtub was dirty. No towels provided, we had to ask for it. They only gave bath towels. No WiFi in the room. There was a password provided but there was no network available. Overall it was good. I loved the ambience of the place. However, there are a lot of things that can still be improved (i.e wider variety of food, cleanliness of the room)

Will definitely come back!
Been raving about this place after we stayed here. Everything was great! People, service, cleanliness of the room and the whole resort, facilities, activities. Value for money. Room: We stayed in one of the rooms in building 6, facing the beach - for the price, i think the room size was huge and amenities were more than i expectes... king-sized bed, bathroom with shower and bath tub. Facilities/activites: the heritage tour and guide were entertaining, interesting. Learned new things. Beach - sand is as expected for bataan, water clean, clear. Swimming pool - i love the batis feel of the pool, interesting, something new. You can enjoy walking around day or night... or at dawn... they keep the lights on til morning. Will come back for sure and planning to rent a whole casa. Also, the lengua at the filipino restaurant is a new fave!

SUPERB experience!!! Great place, luxurious rooms, VIP treatment, pricey foods but totally worth it. Highly recommended resort for those who wants a quick escape from the city. And we will go back soon!!! 👌

It's reliving the past in the present...
A totally cool place, in Bataan. Its reliving the past in the present. They have a wonderful beach front and provide stunning views of the mountains. They have old Spanish houses from different part of the Philippines and build it piece by piece. And some of them are Spanish Colonial Revival Style with architectural stylistic movement arising in history of the Philippines from 1521 to 1898 century based on the Spanish Colonial architecture of the Spanish colonization of the Philippines. We stayed for one night It's a nice room but smells like mold because humidity is high and the linen smells like sweat not fresh linen smells. When we check the bathroom the toilet seat is missing so we call and ask if they can put a toilet seat when they put the seat they are not the same size so small. Breakfast is not great they don't have a buffet, you could choice either longanisa with fried rice or white rice the other is Bangus (milk fish) they have an assortment of bread and soup. I got a soup but ended up not eating because there's a hair in my soap so we complain but that's about it. The drinking water is not good so beware drink a bottle water instead. But we have an amazing time to check the houses and our tour guide is awesome she knows every detail of the house. They have a gorgeous sunset and sunrise. Every ceiling of the old house is painstakingly done, intricate and handmade mosaic in one of the houses. And the tour guide said that they have a room which all Hermes made... Anyway its good place and get the chance, see that place although not 100% done but worth it. The tour guide said it started in 2000 but very slow due to the old houses and labor intensive build it requires.

A peaceful getaway steeped in history
Don't be put off by the negative reviews this place is superb. The buildings are beautiful but the staff really make this place special. The long dirt road isn't that long or rough. The fact you can't drive into the resort is heaven, i love not seeing cars. The jeepney ride is fun and adds to the sense of occasion. The accommodation is just beautiful, simply divine, the buildings are majestic. Although the restaurant menu isn't extensive it's very good and we ate like kings, the squid and the pork knuckle being the highlights. Portions are very large so sharing one main is more than enough. The pool looks a little tired but i like the look and the water was pleasant. It was a joy to see other young families having as much fun as we were. Overall I would say this is the perfect place to come and relax, get pampered and learn a bit about the history of the Philippines.

Old World Architecture provides the ambiance
Got 2 loft rooms for overnight stay. Each room good for 4 adults. They can provide extra beds if needed. Stayed at Casa Escolta I think, or was it Casa Binondo? I forgot but the room was huge! Very picturesque. Each casa has a different history. The beach is also fine. The food at Casa Unisan was great! Would love to come back in the future. Three thumbs up from me. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
