Review by Traveloka users

4 Traveloka customers have stayed in this hotel and given reviews:

It was raining but we still enjoy our stay. The room were nice, friendly staff and the food are a bit costly. We will definitely visit again.
The place is great but the food is so pricey.
Bathtub was dirty. No towels provided, we had to ask for it. They only gave bath towels. No WiFi in the room. There was a password provided but there was no network available. Overall it was good. I loved the ambience of the place. However, there are a lot of things that can still be improved (i.e wider variety of food, cleanliness of the room)
Great value for money. Beautiful place. It was like traveling back

las casas filipinas de acuzar worst general manager ever!
ghastly experienced!!! the place was only good for picture taking.. they have day tour but it will cost you php1500-2000.. and its not worth it! pricey... when we arrived we are so amazed bcoz the landscaping was good.. so we felt that we chose the right place.. we stayed for 1 night.. the room was huge but not maintained, the pillows and comforter has stain and the floor was dirty then.. 1:30am the aircon shut down so we wake up because of humid feeling we called the reception and they told us that someone will go to our room to fix it, then after 1hr one of the staff came and checked it and told us that it will not work.. so he left us, after 30mins we called reception and told us that if we like we can transfer another room.. we knew all along that we will transfer room in the same bldg.. but 1 staff came and had this umbrella.. he told us that we will transfer to another bldg. really? at the middle of the night and its raining??? so we called the manager and they decided to have an electricfan instead sucks!!!! we were all up the whole night bcoz we are so uncomfortable!!! then 8:30 we had our breakfast then we came back to our room at around 10:30am and suprisingly our room was so dark the power shut down! again😤😤this time not only the aircon but the light also! we are so mad bcoz we paid much and then they gave us what???? we asked for refund! they promise to get back to us for feedback! bcoz the general manager was not there to decide! we checked out! knowing that they trully understand us.. after 2 days several follow ups, they called and told us that our request is denied and they giving us a voucher worth 1k in our next visit! wow😡😡 what an insult! they even thought that we would comeback? bunch of idiots! we will file a case wait and see😡😡😡i will not recommend this place... there are so much beautiful place in the philippines that has a good management!!!!!

I was with my friends and we planned to stay there for 3 nights, but on our first night, there was a power outage and they wanted us to transfer to another bldg. at 1am. We were up all night because the room was so humid and they were not even prepared on times like that. We decided not to stay any longer on second night because of the poor service they provided but they did not refund our payment! This hotel sucks!

Awesome architecture re-construction
You have to see our heritage being reconstructed to believe how beautiful it is. Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is Awesome! Mr Joselito Acuzar has been brilliant in building back these houses and making history with it!!!!! He brought back to life our heritage. Re-building all the houses and at the same time providing livelihood to the community is a great idea. He owns 400 hectares of land right now and only 26 hectares has been used. Reviving the culture and bringing back those good old days. I hope to go back after 5 years to see more of his work.

Beautiful but a tad expensive
I agree with one reviewer who said one overnight stay is all you need to experience the breadth and depth of Las Casas. It's certainly a beautiful place and the restored buildings are gorgeous. You can do the tour, ride the tram, go swimming, etc. We also got to watch a carabao race, folk dances, palo sebo, spider fights and other interesting things. We rented a golf cart and sipped taho while doing our tour. My only caveat - food prices are a little expensive. Would definitely go back if given a chance. The pictorial looks fun.

Potential to become a "Must Visit"
The resort has beautiful landscape and amazing location. It boasts a huge private beach and some amazing architectural beauty. The staff is very well trained, the tour of the property is informative. It has all the ingredients to become a huge success but... 1) The food services meed major overhaul if they have to attract foreigners. The italian restaurant which is amazing....is only open for limited hours. The breakfast has no options for vegetarian or western food. Beach bar has no food options. Basically you are stuck if you prefer choices when you dine :-). They are accommodating though and try custom make dishes but I ended up eating fried rice almost every breakfast with omelette 2) The cultural show is more like a high school play with mediocre performances. It just doesn't stand out like many other performances I have seen in other places Management needs to execute the vision of the owner..its a shame that Many people have written reviews about food but doesn't seem to have changed anything. This place can become a MUST VISIT place and can attract many tourists if they start to pay attention to detail. Its all about experience and not necessarily the location!! Good luck
