Very accommodating personnel. Regards to Jopay, hostel receptionist.

bed organisation and facilities, didn't have water for two days, got shifted to a fan room instead the booked air-con (which was given unavailable) and needed to pay extra for that! got the two aircon nights shifted a day behind which crossed all our travel plans. three buildings, quite a bit apart (5min walk) and only in the main building there is wifi. will never ever recommend this place to anyone. except they improve their service and organisation as well as the facilities and provide WiFi in all of the three locations.

Disgusting
Me and my friend arrived to this hostel after a long day of driving, so we just wanted to put our luggage and get some rest. Unfortunately, the room was too small, the shared bathroom was the most disgusting I have ever seen and the toilet was full of pee. Even after we asked from the management to clean it, they ignored us, and we had to clean the toilet by ourselves.

Negative experience hostel...
The Ladyboy running the hostels did something very awful to me, without any evidence or proof after i left the hostel they reported me at the police station to have stolen a lap top.... then they sent me a friendship on fb and they asked me were i was going... i gave the information in total trust and when i arrived at the destination the police was waiting for me... the police told me about the guest house report and they checked my bag and after the police apoligized & let me go cause i didnt still and i didnt have any lap top... Le village dormitory room downstairs behind the reception stinks and one of the 2 toilets is broken and nobody fixes it cause everyone is busy on mobile tablets with FB and Youtube... & btw is not a beachfront hostel cause you need to walk 15 minutes to reach a a beach without sand.... super negative experience...

Cheap basic stay
Roomy dorm with large comfy bunk beds, there is no AC only 2 rotating fans so it is very hot at night (we have found this to be a common theme for budget accomodation in Cebu!) - there was a few hours where the power went out during the night and the heat at that point was unbearable, the rest of the time it was ok though. Only 2 lockers in an 8 bed dorm, Clean toilets, good shower, decent breakfast and cheap beer. Wifi worked the whole time the power was on and was really strong for us. They helped us book canyonering which was a lot of fun as we did it in a group - worth noting though they said it included shoes and it didn't - wear your own reef shoes or trainers and dry them after!!

Average basic hostel
Nothing bad but nothing great. Nice kitchen that you can use including free filtered water. There isn't lockers in all the rooms and they don't lock but everything seemed to be safe. Staff live upstairs I think as hanging out alot. Had a puppy which wasn't toilet trained, cute but had to be careful where you stepped

Loud but nice hostel
Stayed here with one friend for a couple of nights. The hostel is very clean, with nice dorms (and beds), showers and common areas. The location is also good and it's walking distance both to the beach and the town. Only downside is that the walls are so thin that if you don't want to join the party, you might have a problem sleeping. You can hear clearly through the walls, everything from phone calls to people throwing up. Apart from that I really liked this place, just make sure to bring earplugs/headphones! (By the way, the wifi is really bad)
