Best value for budget-conscious travelers
I have been to Sipalay many times in the past, mostly for leisure trips, but this was my first time to stay at LL after it was recommended by a friend. This quiet, unassuming inn located at the city center has the basic amenities for budget travelers without sacrificing the comfort of a good night's sleep. (I say "unassuming" because there are no fake wood, no fake bamboos, no fake flowers, no fake sea shells in this inn). My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights. Room area is about 12 sq.meters. The single bed is big enough for 2 people but we preferred to have one for each so we got 2 individual rooms. AC, WiFi, and cable TV in a small flat-screen is standard. There is also a ceiling fan in case you prefer it and a folding bed for an extra person. Complimentary bathsoap, shampoo and tissue paper can be found in the bath; towel is provided. Location is perfect coz it's near the market, restos, bank, police, health clinic and the public beach where sunset is spectacular. (Tip: market day is Monday - lots of fresh organic produce). If you love mountain biking like me, biking trails are easily reached from here but be sure to have a local guide with you. I'd say this is best value for the price - just €15 per day! (800 pesos in Philippine money). Now that's what I call a steal! (Reminds me of Ibiz budget hotels in Europe). Then you can spend your bucks for food and recreation in nearby resorts. We had a car so it was easy to go to our destinations from the lodge. The owner, Lode, knows the place well and had been very helpful to recommend places of interest in Sipalay. Pros: price, location, comfort, parking Cons: no breakfast, no great views outside the window, curfew (10pm)

Great standard of lodging, especially for foreigners and overseas tourists!
As a British and international traveler, this was my first time in Sipalay and South of Negros Occidental. We arrived in June, 2017 and stayed at Loreto's for 2 nights & 3 days. I arrived with my Filipino friend who was showing me around the area. I thought that the accommodation was really good for the price you pay for. I imagine this type of lodge would be great for: Westerners, Backpackers and Couples looking for simple but good lodging that is close to the sea, beach and tourist district. The location is 5 minutes drive or taxi from the main restaurant, tourist and beach areas and the building is very safe and family-feeling. The owner: Lode, was genuine, accommodating and very good at English. She helped to give us a lot of directions and ideas of places to visit or see. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was not too small and the room and the lodge itself was noticeably very clean. Having stayed in other lodges in Cauayan, it was refreshing to be in a clean room this time. If any of my overseas friends come to Sipalay I will look to inquire here again in the future! The price, lodge and the owner was overall very pleasant indeed.

The place to stay when in Sipalay City
If you and your friends are looking for adventure in Sipalay City, Loreto's Lodge is the best place to stay. At a very affordable price of Php800 you can already have a room with a bed big enough for two with own CR (toilet & shower), has cable TV and free WiFi. It is also conveniently located near the beaches/resorts (just walking distance to the very clean & nice public beach that is usually the meeting point for island hopping tours and less than 10 mins ride to Tinagong Dagat Island Resort) and the public market whenever you need some supplies. On a tight budget? No problem. There's still space for extra bed in the room for your friend. You just need to pay additional Php 100 only.

Affordable, cozy, safe
The best place to stay if you're looking for an affordable, cozy, and convenient inn. It in the center of the city, so you have all the basic amenities. Their is only a 5 minute walk to the beaches and the fair going to Tinagong dagat and other resorts is really cheap. Theirs free wifi, home cooked meals, the gas stati is just about adjacent to the place, if you have a car you'll never have to worry for gas..
