Very Good

14 Traveloka customers have stayed in this hotel and given reviews:

Not satisfied to stay at the place.
Noisy because of steps from other occupants above our room.
The staffs were really very accommodating and helpful. The location was perfect since it is near the malls and restaurants.
The room, bathroom, hallways, lobby were all clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The internet connection was okay, I guess. Not the greatest, but I've had so many bad connections in other hotels that I had to appreciate it. It's a walkable distance to the U.S. Embassy. Just make sure you take the Padre Faura route in going there. That said, the bad thing about this is (also) its location. I didn't feel safe walking around the area. Then again, all the hotels in this location probably have that issue. So it's a risk to take if you want an affordable hotel in that area.
good accomodation,nice place..

hotel is not bad, reception little unprofessional and not real friendly, city view in the more expensiv room means you see a wall in 2 meter distance, but on the other side is a wall a part of the city..rooms are ok , all in one a so so hotel.

The best hotel in Ermita, Manila
This is a midrange hotel and price is really value for money. Location-wise, it is very near the US embassy, Department of Justice, churches, banks, restaurants, and malls. Its also just a few minutes taxi ride to the Mall of Asia, Solaire Resort and Casino, and NAIA Terminal I (depends on the traffic but usually under an hour). Reservations usually need deposit but their staff can also arrange it for you via phone call in case you are already on travel, as usually in my case. You will just have to wait though for room availability and the hotel is almost always fully booked. That's the risk. The breakfast menu has a very good spread, a little above the basic. Book for rooms on the newly renovated wing - less noise from the traffic outside.

Mixed Feelings
My colleague and I booked this hotel as it had been recommended and because our first choice (City Garden) did not have our requested room configuration. I might ad that Lotus Garden is a sister hotel to City Garden suites. Upon arrival, it took approx 45 minutes to check in although, there were only approx 4 people ahead of us. We had booked and prepaid for 2 rooms, for 2 people each 1 smoking and 1 non smoking. We were told that our rooms were not available, this we challenged as we prepaid, they should have been blocked (the reason I guess became obvious the following day). After a delay of a further 20 minutes, we were advised that we were being upgraded but we were in the annex of the building albeit no smoking room was available. Whilst the upgrade was appreciated, I would much rather have been able to get our original rooms without the grief and the winding though passageways. The rooms was pleasant enough and amenities were as described, air con was very good, comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom. Buffet breakfast was limited in its offering but it was passable.Service from the staff was in the cafe was very good.Front office attended to our needs promptly (after the initial contact upon check in) Later the following morning, we noticed a coach pull up and a party of about 30-40 conference types checking in. It was my belief that sometime after our booking was paid for, a booking was accepted for this group and that our rooms had been reassigned to that group. would I stay there again?, probably not, I consider the sister hotel being City Garden Suites a better proposition.

Near US Embassy
This is my 4th or 5th stay in this hotel because of its location - walking distance from the US Embassy. The guard was very helpful. The room is okay except for the pillows which is quite big and heavy - and the "warrior bedside lamp". Another downside is that they charge you PHP 180 when you use their umbrella - so make sure to bring your own. If you need toothbrush, ask the housekeeping.

The best midrange hotel in manila
I really like this hotel. Very clean and pleasant staff. Good midrange price, Very comfortable and good ambiance the guards were very helpful. My husband and I had been staying in malate for many years now everytime we go to Manila and this is the hotel that I find very good.and I also love the food though they should make a nicer cocktail at the bar. Ps- I will certainly go back and stay at this motel on my next holiday. -Meliza&Lyall Benjamin
