Really have a pleasant stay here at LGH, some of my requests seems granted, easy access to all places, proficient staff and good food. Buffet breakfast was superb. suggesting to serve fresh juices instead. I can say i have found one of a the nicest hotel to stay in the very busy district of Bocobo and Ermita. Rooms away from the city noises gives a plus factor of excellent comfort to experience, just hearing unusual footsteps outside our room and banging doors but i don't mind. Overall, we did have excellent stay and hoping to come back soon. Wish to maintain consistency of giving guests great satisfaction. Thanks to the team!

Lotus Garden Hotel is in a strategic location (near Rob Manila, Ermita Church, PGH and MaDocs, UP Manila, public transportation). The rate per night is affordable. The staff are courteous and considerate. The buffet breakfast is just right. The only downside are: there is no attractive view outside the bedroom window and there is no parking provision.

refurbished lotus gardens
went back to a hotel i have stayed at many times.it was a nice surprise that they have redecorated the lobby and bar area very comfortable also the bedroom i was in had been refurbished to quite a good standard. something that i had not experienced before was you have to put down a deposit of 1000php to be able to charge any meals and drinks to your room, well i paid my 1000 and we eat our dinner which was very nicely cooked and then after a few gin and tonics i appeared to worry the staff as i had spent my 1000php about £15 50 so i told them i would deposit more money in the morning so really they are asking is you to pay in advance and if you have a surplus you will get it back when you book out, a little disapointed with the bar they had run out of gilbeys gin and even though the lotus is only about 150 yds to robinsons mall they did not go and buy any more which i do think is poor customer service. after that little moan i was pleased with my stay and they still have some of the staff from years ago.i would certainly stay there again just get your drink ordering sorted.

The best mid-range hotel I been to so far
This was my second stay at this hotel. We had informed ahead that we would be arriving late afternoon and were assured that it would not be a problem. Had a pleasant surprise when we got to our room when we found a note thanking us for choosing to return to this hotel again. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the service equal to that. My compliments to Vic and the crew for their fantastic service and in exercising their patience with an unruly and unusually rude guest during breakfast. They deserve medals. Otherwise, the same compliments are due for the excellent service and location.

Go to hotel for visa interview
We stayed here overnight for a US visa interview the following morning. Allow about 10 mins walk as you'd have to climb a footbridge to get to the other side of Roxas. Relatives have stayed here before for their interview and recommended it. We arrived around 10 pm with no prior booking so we were relieved that there was a room available. The streets were shady as expected but the hotel itself is a breath of fresh air. The lobby is small but bright and updated. The check in agent was professional and accommodating. We got a standard room which was small but well equipped and clean. The bathroom was actually better than most hotels we've stayed in. Overall, for an overnight stay it's a good option.

Food poising from breakfast buffet
The rooms are good at this hotel and the staff are friendly and professional. If it wasn't for the breakfast I would give a review of 4/5. However, the food they offer as part of the included breakfast made me incredibly sick. Firstly, I found the selections of food on offer more fit for a lunch or dinner buffet. Poor fruit selection, hardly and bread available, no pastries, cereals or yogurt available. When compared to similar hotels in Philippines and neighbouring countries, the breakfast was disappointing. This was the only meal I ate on the day of my stay. I had an early flight to KL then on to Bangkok and when I got to Thailand that evening I had stomach pains. For the past day I have been in bed with food poisoning, unable to keep anything down. The staff at this hotel need to have a serious look at their food handing procedures and revisit their hygiene practices.
