Highly recommended. I forgot my ID in the room, they contacted me and I got it back to me. Thank you so much.

Not bad, but past its best
With more modern hotels springing up all around town, this one seems a tad stuck in a time trap. It does what it does as it no doubt always has. An executive room was spacious and sumptuous in a rather tacky way, but giving no great offence. The dining room however was uninspiring both in atmosphere and cuisine.

Beware: why would you go here?
If you were a tired, overworked family man from Seoul, and you just wanted to take the wife and kiddies away for a night or two, this place might fit the bill. There's a nice pool, restaurants, games for the kids, and of course a sauna; the rooms are clean and up to date. Yet if you are not from South Korea, this place offers you nothing authentic, unless your definition of "authentic" is "what pleases an exhausted, underpaid salaryman from Seoul." On my first night here, I was looking out my window, and saw a young boy fall in the river and drown while trying to fish. Always, my heart aches; bless all souls, bless all spirits. I can write no more.

Ok, but only if desperate
Found this on booking.com, listed as a hotel (which in essence it is). Looked great - central location, quiet rooms, etc. It looked like it could be a charming boutique hotel. Looks though can be deceptive. There wasn't one thing done well. Check in took an age with staff demanding cash deposits up front. They claimed my credit cards wouldn't work, then admitted the machine was broken (a good way of getting hard currency and avoiding paying charges to the bank) Rooms were large but poorly lit, with a strange glittery bar area and a rather odd choice of furnishing. My guess is that rooms are designed for Russian businessmen away from home looking to entertain 'friends' A promise to book a taxi for the airport never came to fruition. All in all a disappointing experience.

I stayed at this hotel using a coupon from an online daily deals site. It was only for one night for transit from the airport. The location is very near to nightlife places around Malate, although I did not experience this myself. It isn't far from the airport but traffic does take its toll on travel time so put some allowance when preparing for a flight. The rooms were actually spacious and very comfortable. Be aware that during our stay there was a building under construction beside the property. It may be noisy during the day. Overall, a restful sleep that served its purpose.
