The room is clean. Air-conditioner is very cold and WiFi has a good connection. Ate Socorra, the caretaker, is very approachable and taught how to speak their native language. Looking forward to staying here again.

The room is indeed very clean and beds are big. However, the establishment is way far going to the tourist spots and not that very accessible. You still need to walk for you to ride a jeepney. Air-conditioner is very cold and WiFi has a good connection. Ate Cora the caretaker is approachable and hospitable. She's very responsive as to whatever queries we do have. All in all, our stay was great! I highly recommend this place. Thank you.
9.4
The place is great for backpackers on budget. The caretaker, Ate Cora will also assist you on your needs during your stay. It comes with an air-conditioned room, own toilet and bath, TV with cable, WiFi, and even cup noodles and coffee! It was somehow quite far to Bacolod downtown, you may need to walk a few meters to get into public transport or just book Grab for hassle-free commuting. Sir Bob, our initial contact person was also responsive so do not hesitate to contact them. Overall, our four days stay in Mainstreet Pension was great and recommendable to those who are looking for an affordable place to stay in Bacolod.

Good and cheap stay. No frills Pension house that is great enough if you are on a budget and just looking for a place to sleep for a night or two.
8.8
Great place to stay for budget travellers. The room is clean and spacious. Aircon and shower heater works well. Not so near on other tourist spots but it is manageable. Very quiet and peaceful. WiFi has strong signal as well. For a room so cheap they even gave us free noodles and coffee when we checked in. Will definitely recommend and book for future visit.

A MUST-STAY PLACE when in BACOLOD city
Sir Bob made all the effort to answer our inquiries as to how to reach "Main Street Pension House" even when we arrived really early in the morning. The place is clean, quiet, and so homey that we extended our stay for another night. Ate Cora, the attendant, is very charming and shows a real interest to assist to reach our destinations to visit during our stay. I will surely go back to this wonderful homey place when we visit Bacolod again.

I book my friends here all the time
I usually book my friends here all the time. Manang Cora, the attendant is very friendly and gracious. She makes every effort to make you stay comfortable. I think it is an old house that they converted and renovated to a pension house. The rooms are clean, bed is well made, and the bathrooms/toilets are so clean that I could smell the bleach. I like the fact that they disinfect the bathrooms before a guest checks in. That is very important to me.

My friend and I stayed in Mainstreet during our long weekend escapade in Negros Occidental. The place is good for backpackers. The owner, Sir Bob made sure we had a comfortable stay. The rooms is spacious and clean. The CR is very spacious compare to othe pension houses and hotel. The tiles are well maintain. The hotel charges 100 pesos for every hour that a guest check in before the official check in time. Although Mainstreet is not located in the main road but it very accessible and offers a quite place to stay. Its perfect for those who wants to relax after a long travel day.

Homey place
I stayed here with my boyfriend this September 2015 for 2 nights. The price was affordable for only 600 php per night. Bathroom and airconditioning inside the room is commendable. There is also a heater and provided towels. The woman at the reception is kind and accommodating. Wifi is pretty fast considering that my boyfriend and i got the first room upon entering the premises. A quiet place where you can enjoy your nights because it is not along the main road but still accessible.
