Cozy and homey vibes. Accommodating staffs and clean shared toilet. Affordable and perfect for those who are back packers. Hope they would serve meals too.

Very accommodating staff. When I asked if they have available towel the girl said yes but with an additional cost so O said it was okay but then the other staff said no need tonpay for the towel. This play also has its homey feels. :) nice view, very neat rooms, and well ventilated. 5 stars!

We (both ladies) check in at 11pm, the front desk lady provide us the room assignment, settled, by 12 midnight the Boy (maybe his the manager) scolding the lady front desk, and when he saw us, he ask us (with a high voice and impolitely) to transfer to another room because he said its not supposed to be our room. Moreover, they have common bathroom and CR (shower needs to be replace, floor is always wet). Good thing is they have a small parking space.
9.4
The place was very easy to locate not that far from the tourist spots in tagaytay they waited for us till 12 midnight to check in parking was ok they have cctv camera. they have a common CR just outside your room. we requested a double room and they gave us a double bed with 1 double deck extra. overall the service was very good.
9.1
The place is really ok. So near to Tagaytay's main attractions. Would really recommend this place to backpackers!
8.5
Just an okay hostel. If you're on a budget this is the place for you. Decent enough.
8.8
Okay for travel and stay. Accessible location
8.5
Perfect for budget travelers.
9.4
Slow WiFi connection and no signal. But I'll recommend this place.

Hoping they would cater meals so guests would not need to go outside to buy food.

Perfect!
We arrived there in the middle of the night and just hoped for a place to sleep, but this place was perfect! We stayed in a 4 bed dorm just for two of us, it was very clean, bathroom was cleaned at least once a day. They also offer a nice area the relax and a nice garden where you can sit and just have a nice time to calm! Staff was very friendly and helpful with all our questions and told us the cheapest options to go to places like Lake Taal or back to Manila. Thanks for the great time here!

Dorm in tagaytay
The place is good for millennials. The place can occupy 35 person with only 3 cr. We had a International Conference in Tagaytay. We rented the place for 3 days. The students enjoyed the place. The problem is the shortage of Comfort rooms in the morning. The receptionist was friendly and respectful. But on the 3rd day I was ask to settle our balance. When I gave the money to the receptionist, I was told that receipt will be send through lbc. I was shocked and asked that it is not possible because I need to liquidate expenses. Then I was asked to talked to the supervisor, it was the worst experience. She raises her voice even if they are the one at fault. They cannot issue me a receipt. The receipt is issued by their sister hote in Makati?. I wonder if that is allowed. so what happened if they have walk-in costumer, they will not issue receipt. I even said to the supervisor that I'm a costumer and I should not be treated that way. Her remarks are " Yes your the costumer, you are always right, you are the queen." One of the worker there is always smoking which very unhealthy. There are a lot of budget hotel in Tagaytay that treat you as a family and a friend.

Highly recommended
Not easy to spot as most locals are not familiar with the place perhaps because they only had a tarpaulin for signage. Staff are polite and accommodating. Free hot water and use of plates and utensils. Shared bathroom has regular cleaning schedule. Water heater also works well! Good for commuters because place is only one tricycle ride from jeep and bus terminals, drugstores and restaurants. Cable tv was not available when we were there but it didn't bother since we were out most of the day. Wifi internet is good and most of all room is noise proof. Nice place to rest. The garden is good place for having your coffee and breakfast. I think this place is more than what you pay for especially if you are considering a budget.

Don't go here!
Please don't go here. My friends and I would like to keep this place a secret and didn't want to share it with more people. Hehehe! But the good people of this hostel deserve an awesome review. The facade of Mountain Breeze Hotel is so frugal, you're sure to miss it. The interior though, is nothing short of amazing. We love the quirky design, which looked like it came out of a lifestyle magazine. It was homey and chic. The design was well thought of. We got the deal at a discounted price but the staff treated us as if we checked-in in a five star hotel. Kudos to Sir receptionist the day we arrived. He kind-heartedly gave us all our hearts' wishes. You can bring in food without corkage. I think you may even have a barbecue night on the grounds if you so wish. You can stay here with your heart's content and do just about anything. Just be mindful and considerate as we don't want to ruin the charm of this place. Comfortable fleece blankets and towels were provide. All, looked, felt and smelled laundered well. We were not provided with slippers, so might as well bring your own. We drank a few alcohol, so you may also do so. I don't think you can be rowdy because rooms share the lounge area. Toiletries may be bought here but if you are scrimping or picky, bring your own. I think all rooms have comfortable bed and flat screen TVs, so your choice really depends on the number of heads staying in one room. The AC was great. Water pressure was awesome with heater. All comfort rooms are well maintained. Wi-fi was pretty fast as I was able to finish work that night. Have I mentioned we got a free upgrade to Quadruple room? I didn't regret one second that I chose this place to bond with great friends. If I don't come back with my family, it'll be such a waste.

Just go. You will see why.
Mountain Breeze Hostel is the place to stay during your visit to Tagaytay. I stayed 4 nights last week and I would have moved to another place if I didn't like the hostel. I felt very welcomed and safe during my stay there. You will see that they have put a lot of effort in maintaining the place to be so.
