Food is good. Staff are very accommodating. Good parking. Though quite noisy when your room is facing the street and the door is quite old and squeaking and hard to unlock. They need to renovate so they can serve well because the location of the hotel is near all places you wanted to see.
The staffs are so friendly and approachable. The service is superb for a budget hotel. However, It could be much better if the hotel has elevator because it is so tiring going up and down the staircase. But, overall, my stay is nice.
Problem with air condition due to vibration of the air condition that makes us uncomfortable.
Some of the front office desk are not accommodating.
1. The AC is leaking and the room is not that cold. Below the AC is the television and socket, I was afraid that both may get wet. During my first day I was not able to take a rest because the AC was creating too much noise due to the formation of ice. 2. Poor wifi connection. My brother and I kept on calling the front desk. They didn't believe me when I was the only one calling that's why I ask my brother to call them also. During my 3rd day I informed them that there was no wifi connection, they just told me to wait because a lot of people are using the wifi (this is a small 2 stroey hotel). 3. The toilet is dirty and got molds in it. I have no choice but to ask them to transfer me to another room. 4. It's like a motel not a hotel.
The location is good and is not far from SM Naga (10mins walk/ 8php trike) . I was on room 303 (3rdflr) and came from a very long travel (manila) and there was no elevator. Its not that negative to me but given the travel I came from. The blankets are clean and thick. But the major bad to me was the bathroom. The mat was misplaced , the toilet was not cleaned (it was not flushed!), the floor has candle drippings and I need to request for toiletries! I had to do some quick cleaning on the bathroom before I rest. Over all, its good if not because of the bathroom.
Very different from the photos on this site. There were having construction when we stay and the FO staff was not cooperative that much. However, the bed was comfy and enough and the breakfast was pretty good and affordable.
Good place to stay with. Eventhough there is no electricity in the area they still have full services.
Good location, friendly and approachable staff, superb service, near to SM Naga
Stayed for 3 days and 2 night and everything went smoothly, from check-in until check-out. The room was clean and spacious. Good value for money!

2nd time
So this is my 2nd time to stay here. Our travel officer asked me to choose between CBD and Nagaland. So I told them that I'll give Nagaland a chance to prove that they improved after 3 years... I have no issues with the hotel staff as they are all friendly and accommodating... However, water is still a nightmare... I am.not sure how clean is the water that I showered with today... I was just left with no choice because I need to go to work... water is not smelly but you what comes out of the faucet is grimy and brownish... I tried letting it run for 5 minutes as told by the front desk, but it didn't fix the problem. It still comes out brownish every now and then... this is the same experience 3 years ago. I wonder why the management did not consider to fix the issue. After 3 years you will still see notes posted on the door saying that they are have schduled water pipe maintenance.

Very good value for money. Pet friendly with limitations, though.
We (parents + 2 young adult girls + mid-size dog) stayed overnight late July -17. Important to us was pet friendliness. They said pets are allowed as long as they do not disturb other Customers. Ours does not. Even it is mid-town location, their spacious parking area at the back of the building is not paved and has plenty space to walk the dog. Nice. Limitation can be the little restaurant they have. First they didn't want our very well behaved dog there as "other Customers might complain". I argued that currently I was the only Customer complaining 8-) We had dinner and bfast there. Very good food and the prices were low. Service was courteous after they finally accepted us in and dog stayed under the table. Room was spacious with two queen size beds. It had a nice wood parquet floor, which contributed to fresh air (not "normal" musty and moldy). Room was clean and neat otherwise and TV worked as expected. Bath room functionality was a bit wanting as things did not work properly. They have under-sink water heater, but it does not heat the shower. Or at least didn't in our case. Shower door and toilet did not co-operate well. Another thing is that they only gave one key card for four people. I guess it has to do with room electricity being controlled by this radio wave (yes, I tried old trick with normal plastic and didn't work) enabled key card. If you have not-so-well behaved dog, you might end up leaving your pet in the room (perhaps in a crate). In our case, where we go, the dog goes. If dog doesn't go, we do not go. There apparently was a wifi at least in the public areas, but I am quite sure it didn't work in the room on 2nd floor. No biggie in our case as we just stayed overnight. Advise to the hotel: embrace the pet friendliness and use it in your marketing. Put up posters and info for non-pet Customers to understand what to expect and how to respond to pets in the premises (e.g. not whining about it, etc.). Recommend unless you require high class and five stars for any reason.

downtown location of the hotel.
We stayed here overnight last May because there was no electricity at home the whole day. Unfortunately their wifi connection was terrible just when we needed it the most for our home-based online work. But of course the place was clean and good, as well as the downtown location of the hotel.
