Also called the “Lost Paradise”, the Nawawalang Paraiso Resort and Hotel has long been one of Quezon’s most popular retreats and holiday destinations for locals and tourists alike. From its splendidly comfortable rooms to its friendly staff, it’s easy to see why the resort has been a favorite for years.
The resort’s Phase 2 has two room types available: the Standard Room with Breakfast and the Cabana Cottage. Room sizes range from 18 to 20 square meters. Each room comes fully equipped with an air conditioning unit, a seating area, a television with cable channels, a work desk and an en suite bathroom with a hot and cold shower and a complete set of toiletries. Rooms can accommodate a maximum of six guests.
Guests can enjoy their meals at the hotel’s Kusina ni Parang Avel restaurant where they can sample traditional dishes from Tayabas and other local fares. Must-orders include the Nilasing na Hipon, the Kinilaw na Tanigue, the Fall-off Barbecued Spareribs, and the Special Seafood Kare-Kare.
Events can be held in any of the resort’s function halls, which can be set up according to the celebration’s theme. Other facilities include an outdoor volleyball area, a children’s playground, camping tents, and a freshwater outdoor swimming pool.
The resort is nestled along the foot of Mount Banahaw. The Basilica Menor de San Miguel de Archangel is a nine-minute drive away, while the Malagonion Bridge is 15 minutes away. The property is a 17-minute drive away from the town of Lucban.
Travelers coming from Metro Manila will need to take a three-hour car ride to get to the Nawawalang Paraiso Resort and Hotel.
