This was really a great experience. The hotel is more than what you can see at the app. It is an ideal hotel if you want to explore Tagaytay City plus it is near mall and other usual place of convenience.

Baroque Hotel in Tagaytay Rotonda
We travel 1 night ahead of our 3-day seminar/gala stay in Tagaytay since our booking dates is my coding day, we decided to stay here because they agree to haggle with the price we want since we will just stay overnight then transfer to our booked hotel the next day. Though we are just staying there overnight, we feel they took us for granted. Don't know if that is what all there room have. They give us a quiet spacious room but with a bed mattress and pillow as hard as rock, good thing i have extra pillow for my baby to use. Toiletries are also not provided. We just too exhausted and its late in the night that we just sleep and immediately check-out in the morning.

Near gas station
The place was ok but the service wasn't that good. We asked some questions regarding the room they weren't aware of the inclusions. We were also looking for 2 single beds instead of queen size bed but they didn't have one. Their good for 2 room was Php2890 which includes breakfast. Their breakfast was ok too.

A quick unplanned get away
So its the midweek stressed and a spur of the momment kind of thing. . . Payday is still a long day to go and the holiday just passed. Called on sick for 2 days and headed to Tagaytay to destressed and unwind. It was late in the afternoon when we reached Tagaytay caught in traffick and tired already from the long drive. We were on a budget so scratch the usual hotels in the area. As we were driving saw the place and thought of giving it a try. The good. . . Place was clean and quiet and the staffs politely accomodated us and were cheerful. They answered our queries and won our vote stay the night. The room we were given was adequite in size, clean and equipt with the bare essentials. . . Nothing fancy. The bad. . . When we were about take a shower at first the water preasure was low and while waiting for the water heater to kick in the water just died in the shower and faucet. Went down stair at the reception and inform them. A couple of minutes passed and a knock on the door we were given a pale to use and said that bec we were on the 3rd floor the preassure was low and ask that they will see what they can do regarding the water pressure. Ended up using the faucet on the sink just to freshen up. When we woke up the following morning there was still no shower and had to go down stair and ask for help but this time in only took less than 5 mins for the shower to work again. . . I guess they shut the water during late at night for some reason. . .

Attentive staff
The hotel itself is a bit old and does not have an elevator. The rooms are simple and basic. But the best thing I can say about this hotel are the polite, attentive staff. They keep the place clean and well-maintained.

Nice, Clean, Polite Stafg
It's our second time to stay in New Orleans. It is, by far the cheapest hotel in the area. We stayed at a non-aircon room since it's a bit cold in Tagaytay. I suggest you take one of the rooms facing the higway/Taal. It's a bit creepy on one of the rooms facing the hospital. It has an additional charge though, for the view (daw). But seriously, you can just see the highway. :) The downside is that they have no hot/cold shower and sometimes, water pressure is weak. So far, our stay was pleasant.
