Do not understand the high rated reviews...
We booked the fan hut for two nights, the green setting is lovely, however... The mattress is just thick sponge, with just a scratchy patterned sheet over and then another itchy top sheet. We had a roach climbing the wall on our first night and were simply handed a nearly empty bottle of insect killer... so we killed the roach and fumigated the room ourselves. It didn't stop the 3 worm/millipede creatures that came up on the wall next to the bed. The room isn't sealed at all, with gaps in the floorboards and walls. The mosquito net was tucked away into the dusty rooftop, so we didn't touch it. I woke up the second morning to a crushed flying beetle underneath me and spread across the sheets. The shower was hot but barely any pressure, soap tray full of mildew and no drain cover. Wouldn't normally bother with a bad review, but I can't believe all the positive ratings for this place...

A-Okay
SERVICE 2/5 Staff weren't smiling. Not hospitable enough. They made us feel that we can't pay for our extra bed. They kept reminding about our extra bed every meal time. Mark, the waiter, said that we can pay it at check-out. So I did. The lady who cooked our pancake even asked her co-staff if we paid already when we already had checked-out. The nerve! ROOM 3/5 As big as a typical bahay kubo. Bathroom was clean. Water closet doesn't have a cover. No TV, but it was okay. FOOD 2.5/5 Food was okay. Too spicy for the burrito. It had no rice. We were awaken coz the ingredients made us feel thirsty. Always refiil your water bottle so you won't have sore throat. Price range is same as Manila.

Great....... Just Great
My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights just last week and have to say for the price point, we couldn't have asked for more. The complex is set in well looked after grounds and we stayed in the native house which is good for at least 4 with everything you require including an enormous balcony to entertain in the evenings. The staff were welcoming and helpful, finding a space for our rental car in only what I can assume as the staff parking area. They were all very hospitable and the food was of a good quality, however, be careful of your portion sizes!!! I couldn't eat for the rest of the day, missed revenue! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beaches and attractions and the popular night life bars just around the corner. A great stay, thank you...... we will be back when we bring the family from 🇬🇧

DON'T BOOK WELL IN ADVANCE
Okay so we booked this place 11months in advance.. 11months. When we arrived at 11pm at night after an awfully long travel day, they told us they had placed someone else in our room and that "Agoda" had over-booked us. Now i don't really know what went on but it was incredibly disappointing. Fortunately they managed to place us in a near by hotel (which costs less than we had paid) and were somewhat apologetic. But I honestly believe they just forgot about our booking.

Awsome place
We visited the restaurant everyday on our 7 day holiday. All the meals were nice and really good value for your money. The staff were really nice and very helpfull with travel tips for the area. Unfortunately we couldnt stay here as they were fully booked but will book ahead next time. Thank you for being part of our holiday :-)
