I would say don't go
Chose this place because it was close to the bus station and the pictures on their website looked alright.driving there isn't nice but the lobby looked good so we stayed. Before you get off the elevator you know you have made a mistake anyway the room is worse so just go back down. The hot water is cold the floors are sad.the tv has 6 channels none of which speak English however the bed was comfortable it was quite and there is a nice restaurant next store.

Slowly going downhill:-(
This hotel was my favorite!!!!! The design has clean simple lines (love the compact toilet) but the hallway carpet tiles need replacing, bed carpentry work needs refinishing. Checked in last night I found out they didn't have cable TV :-( Cable is important to me :-( I know upkeep is expensive but it's really important!

Not great, not not bad either
Stayed one night to rest after a whole day of field work and driving. Location was very accessible and they had free parking. The hotel wasn't great but not bad either. The room looked exactly like the website photos, except a little bigger. The bed was okay, but I would suggest a comforter/better blanket for better comfort. They served free breakfast through room service, juice and longganisa was good but the egg that came with it was too oily. Downside -- the comfort room was awful. It was hard to adjust the shower temperature to just the right warmth. It was only either too hot or too cold. They only had one toothbrush and the bristles were falling out even before use. The sink faucet was also weird as it was gushing water out like crazy. Okay hotel only for sleeping the night, not really for a vacation or anything else.

Friendly but uncomfortable
I never had a good night sleep for 3 nights stay, the next door was used by the evening staff, shouting, talking loudly in the middle of the night, banging the door, used the elevator all night, it's just next door to my room. The toilet sink was leaking, the water comes to the bed and my luggage got wet everyday, the lady who cleans the room was very apologetic she also tried to get the plumber but no one came till I checked out, didn't offer me another room. I wasted my 3 nights holiday.

A small hotel of contradictions
On balance I cannot recommend this hotel to businesspeople or anyone but flashpackers. It is in a far less attractive part of Quezon City than Cocoon Boutique Luxury Hotel or Luxent Hotel. There is a May 2014 opened excellent Hap Chan Tea House Chinese restaurant 120 metres away as there is a newly opened double storey Jollibee, but not much else. Kalayaan Avenue has nice trees and shrubs but many commercial buildings have the rundown look. It lacks a pool. The rooms already look a little dated but may well be under a decade old. While the room was reasonably spacious and had a functional airconditioner that was not too noisy and a wardrobe, along with coffee sachets, it fronted busy Kalayaan Avenue that during the day on weekdays has many noisy jeepneys. It was however noticeably quieter between 2000 and 0545. The bed was not great although I slept acceptably. I detest rubber pillows but that was all that was on offer. Despite a long bench and a wallside table, no chair was provided which is indicative of lack of attention to detail. I asked for one and received a moulded plastic chair. The base of the shower leaked a bit to near the toilet suggesting that silicone was required. The shower was very difficult to bring to a suitable temperature as it was either close to scalding - and I speak as someone who loves a hot bath or shower - or quite cool. It took perseverance. The vanity unit had a good mirror. One shampoo, a cake of soap and two small bottled waters were complimentary. The breakfast was a basic ham and cheese omelette and iced tea. While not expecting a glorious buffet for the price, a bit more would have been nice. Pancakes were shown on the menu but 'unavailable', one of the few irritating features of travelling in Philippines. WiFi worked in the room but was often slow. This rules out the hotel for many businessmen. Only one of the two bedside tables had a lamp. There was a good LG flatscreen television set with an excellent range of subscription television channels. Flashpackers may find this hotel good value, but for me it did not quite hit the mark, although it also did nitcharge four star prices through the ever reliable www.asiatravel.com The security guards were pleasant and always looking to open doors.
