Our stay at Orange pearl was great! Sea view room was spectacular and Gingi was the best host and made our stay super easy helping us coordinate our trips throughout our stay and our trip out to Coron, and also does amazing singing for their open mike night! We loved our stay. Thanks Gingi!

We arrived at corong2 almost 3 am the resort was a bit hard to find, no road access at the front (main road) you have to pass a dark and very high cemented stairs which is the only way to go to the front beach of corong2, very thankful to jing2 for accommodating us that early and gave as room 1 cabana type room the aircon was not working every hour it automatically shut down but it has a decent bed and clean CR, actually we stayed in two different rooms thereafter because we extended our stay. Orange pearl has a great view of the beach thats why the second room that we got a sea view. The guy who help us we our tour was very accommodating, some of the staff where also very accommodating but also others where not, we stayed for 3 days and decided to extend and book with them. One staff told us that they can give us discount for extended stay but when we talk to another staff she was a bit unapproachable saying that she can't offered any discount for us thats why we opted to check out that day. They have a newly constructed building where we stayed it was clean but not maintenance cleaning thereafter. Beds and pillows where new and comfortable. Overall I will still recommend this place if you want to stay at corong2 and enjoy the beach every morning and sunset at night

The staff were nice. But they don't have complimentary water for the guest you have to buy it from the bar thrice the price. The room were nice too but no exhaust fan inside the rest room.
- Family vacation
our stay in the hotel in neither great nor bad... the place offered a beach front with good sight seeing if you just want to enjoy nature and the sun ... but I didn't know that to be able to go there you need to go down and up and down a 70 +steps stair and walk in the beach sand for about 15 minutes before reaching the hotel . aside from that if your going to a tour or poblacion you need to ride 20 minutes tricycle .. I hope they can have a friendly accessibility to the road so that tourist will enjoy more .. though the staff were mostly friendly but during our stay they seemed to be understaff ...mr roger was very reciprocal to our demands and do apologized for whatever short comings . we stayed in a family room along the beach and since they don't have any intercom we need to get out of our room and walk around 300 m to get through their front desk area everytime we need something .. I hope they put intercom for easy communication and place an electronic water heater and complimentary coffee , water every day in the room like any other hotel.. securing the cleanliness of the beach by preventing dogs to poops near the beach and even men intoxicated with alcohol from peeing in the beach .. just saying because we were able to observe this things.... I guess the hotel has a good future if it will be manage well..

Terrific View of Terrible Everything
An outstanding location spoilt by the existence of this sorry establishment. My ‘spacious bungalow with private balcony ‘ was a shack next to a bar that entertains the staff till 2 am every night. It’s an overpriced backpackers. Breakfast is bread that’s been air dried & called toast & a couple of bits of melon. The coffee is sachets of budget instant with a jar of creamer. The sheets are so old they exfoliate while you try and sleep. The worst service by reception & the tour desk ever. Calling them inept is being kind. I left at 4.30am in the dark, traipsing along the beach, with my bags & backpack by torchlight to try and get on a ferry they didn’t book. Jean in the restaurant was the exception & she’s seriously far too good for the place. ( If you keep walking past this disaster you can book Las Cabanas Resort) El Nido is fantastic. Don’t spoil your stay by booking this property.

Horrible and scary stay
I travelled alone and I havent slept at all during my stay here. The first night it was very dark outside and there were a lot of catfights. The second day it was stormy and there were thousand of frogs which didnt allow me to sleep, horrible. The accommodation is very old, the bed is horrible, sweaty and sticky. The airconditioning looks from the 60s. The bathroom is not nice to have in a shower. Then another main point, the access...if you come by night, please be careful, there is more than 500 meter of beach in the dark to cross, very scary. At last but not least, the woman of the reception was rude. A positive thing? The location and the guy from the bar, thats all.

Bad staff will make you wanna punch 'em in the face, and I'm a pacifist !
The view is amazing. Hotel settings would be nearly acceptable, they ( maybe sharing with all the other businesses on the same beach) should just place some lights on the long stairs from the beach to the road up the hill, as it's inconvenient at night. I am rating this 1 because the blondie (not the ladyboy) that was sitting at the reception should be fired. In general bad staff attitude and need to tell them to clean your room 4 times, every day. No internet, apparently down and apparently the fixer is always on his way... for over a week. The lovely blondie was constantly online playing thou :) Frankly speaking in 2017 advertising internet without providing it for many consecutive days is already a put off. The place has potential, even if far away from the road. To the owner: change your staff!

Run down room, terrible food, horrible access
Location : you need to walk 75 stiff steps down fro. Top of the road down to a beach. From there you need to walk on the beach for 750 meters passing in front of cheap bars and other run down 1star hotels, 2 construction sites, . Then artive to the place. 1 huge white painted 3 stories building. The inside of room is literally hand made furnitures. No cabinet for you clothes. Table made out of plywood. Rain drops inside roo.. aircon ia either super cold or too hot. No hot water unless you wait for 10min. The color of the water is BROWN - and they know about it, but dont do anything about it. Food is terribly low end local.food. i am a local. And its terrible. Over priced boat prices. Over priced room rates. 75% missing on menu. Botto. Line - just stay away.

Budget hotel in a beautiful location
I stayed here in April 2017. I booked this hotel on a friend's recommendation. It didn't disappoint! The location is one of the best I've stayed in. It's literally on the beach but as it's not in the centre of El Nido it's less touristic and peaceful and quiet at night. Getting there - The only way to the hotel is down a long flight of steps and then about a 10 min walk across the beach. It's very dark at night. Don't do what we did on arrival and refuse the help of the Tuk, tuk drivers to carry our bags to the hotel. We got laughed at by an entire beach full of people as we attempted to drag our heavy suitcases along the sand (whilst the tide was coming in!) Getting into town is easy as the drivers are at the top of the steps all hours of the day. It takes about 10 minutes and costs about £2.50 one way. Hotel - I'm surprised by some of the reviews about the staff. We found them to be friendly, kind and attentive. They work long hours and yet always had a smile on their face. Also, the wifi didn't work whilst we there. Again, this is due to El Nido's remote location rather than than the hotels. There are building works going on, but only during the day and it didn't effect our stay. Room - My friends and I booked a native family room. It was basic, but so was the price! It was very clean and they provided toiletries. Sometimes we had to have a little patience with the plumbing! (Standard in the Philippines though) Also, the walls were very thin, but the hotel is quiet and we never struggled to sleep. The breakfast is basic (omelettes and toast) but filling, they also sell drinks, cocktails and food (I can recommend the Espresso Martini)! Location - This is what sells this place. El Nido is famed for it's beautiful beaches and this is directly on the beach front. You wouldn't get such a wonderful location for such a low price in other parts of the world. This isn't in the main part of El Nido, so there are only a few bars here. That's part of it's charm though! Come the evening it feels like you have it to yourself. One night the hotel had an acoustic singer playing. We got to listen to music, waves in the background and cheap beers...what more could you want in life!? If you want to stay in a good budget hotel on a beautiful beach I recommend staying here. If you need a little more luxury I would suggest somewhere else!
