Not worth the money...
Stayed for two days after a business trip. Only two things I liked about this place. First, their internet connection is good. Second, the location is within the city proper (GMall and 7 Eleven is just a few blocks away). The rest is just unbearable. Showers don't work at all so the water is as cold as ice. The air condition is so old and noisy. Tiny roaches, mosquitoes and mice keep you company 24/7. The room smells weird (like the stink of an old damp room). Unaccommodating staff who are selective in providing the needs of their customers (i.e. they prioritize foreigners and don't really care about the needs of their local customers). No cable TV, just static. They didn't clean the rooms during my stay.

Budget hostel, near Gmall, accessible
We went to Davao City for a convention. This hostel is a 2 minute walk from Gmall, just across San Pedro College. Pros: affordable, spacious room (suite room can fit up to 5 pax), accessibility, water refilling and coffee vendo available at the lobby, with wifi Cons: doesn't allow early check-in (strictly follows 3pm check in time) but you can drop your luggage at the reception, shower heater doesn't work properly, tv signal reception very poor, Over all, you get what you pay for, and a little more than that. I would recommend it, for its price, its worth it.

For Budget Travel
This accommodation is located near malls, night life, market, walking distance for common chores. Near church, Staff are approcable. Free wifi offered but slow. (laugh). Clean rooms, wide space, also offer for family stay.

Too much for what you get -
The pros first - the location of the hotel is good & only a couple of blocks from G Mall. Easy walking to many places. Cons - We had a queen size bed & apparently they don't have to many rooms with queens. We had room 1 which was in the lobby. Everyone gathers there for internet. It wasn't very quiet thru the night either. The room it's self was clean & the bed ok. Worse part about the room is the air con sounded like we were in an engine room of a 747! The hotel isn't quaint - it more like a dormitory. Pretty sparse, paint is yellow & white, no pictures. There's 3 stories & no elevator if walking up the stairs in an issue for you.The front desk was somewhat helpful but they wouldn't change our room. Check in time is 3 pm - we got there at 1:30 & they told us to come back. When we did, it was 3:25 & we still didn't get into our room until 4:40pm. It's ok but certainly over priced for $950P.

It's a budget hotel okay
If you're looking for a cheap hotel with a very good location, this is the place to go. Walking distance from a mall, church, and night life (although there's not much night life in Davao). Service: 5 stars. Staff are friendly. Always smiling and very approachable. Cleanliness: 3 stars. Room gets cleaned everyday. We got new sheets everyday. But still, there are mosquitoes in the room. Sleep experience: 2 stars. Rough sheets. They only have 1 hard and cheap pillow. Wifi: 1 star. Only accessible outside the rooms where there are lots of mosquitoes. Stayed for the weekend at Rm.106 with 2 single beds.
