Great value for its price. The place was cozy and relaxing. Just one note, the air conditioning unit was not working effectively; so the room didn’t cool so well. But, overall; it was really ok.

The first room we got has aircon leak but the staff immediately transfer us to the upgraded room. Still a comfortable one night stay and a great place to rest before travelling to Aklan.

Papierus Pensionne is a charming two-star property located along Osmeña Avenue in Kalibo. The property is a favorite choice for Ati-Atihan Festival goers as it is located minutes away from the celebration’s key areas. Budget travelers and backpackers will enjoy the hotel’s central location and cozy rooms.
The property has a total of 10 rooms and four room types: the Twin Room, the Classic Double Room, the Triple, and the Family Room. All rooms come with marble flooring, an air conditioning unit, a television with cable channels, a work desk, and a spacious wardrobe. En suite bathrooms come with a hot and cold shower, and complete bath amenities. Free WiFi is available in all private and public areas. Room service and daily housekeeping services are available upon request.
During their stay, guests can avail of a relaxing in-room massage or hang out at the sun terrace. Other hotel features include an in-house souvenir shop, sprawling gardens, and complimentary parking for guests.
Travelers coming from the Kalibo International Airport will only need to take a seven-minute car ride to get to the Papierus Pensionne. The popular Bakhawan Eco Park is an 11-minute drive away from the property, while the Museo it Akean is only seven minutes away. Guests heading to Boracay will need to take a Bus to the Caticlan Jetty Port which is around one hour and 30 minutes away. The boat ride from the port to Boracay Island will take around 20 minutes. The Gaisano Capital Kalibo is 10 minutes away.
