I booked for my mom and her colleague. Here's what she told me: -Location was okay. The hotel was away from the busy city. It was very accessible, the location was 2 minutes away from the hotel and the city. -Food was above average. -The service was great. They were all accommodating and attentive. -The room was comfortable. -They got a free send-off to the bus terminal. According to them, they were treated like VIP's. Kudos also to the driver! Glad I booked it for her. The hotel's highly recommended. It was suit!. Will most likely stay at ParkWay Hotel again if I'll be visiting surigao soon.

Generally Positive
Comfortable, spacious, clean and welcoming. BUT . . . Bathroom needs work. Needs a larger shelf for visitor bottles of shampoo and personal soaps (currently only has a small soap dish. Needs to have a seat/bench built in for seniors (like myself). Needs more than one towel hook on the wall. Towel shelf above the toilet is too high on the wall for short people to reach. Has no "top" sheet. You either use a thick comforter (hot even with AC) or no covering (cold in the AC). The AC unit is too high on the wall. Have to stand on bed and stretch to the wall to change settings. There is no elevator. I hated the steps because I walk with a can.

An asset to Surigao City
We were a party of six. Arrived on a very early morning flight. We had so many materials for a weeklong training related to caring for children affected by the earthquake. These materials were kept safe and secure by the hotel team. Rooms were ready when we arrived. Quick check-in procedures. Rooms were basic but sufficient. Staff were friendly, courteous, professional. Knowledgeable about basic goings on in the city for non-locals. Was very near food places, groceries, small shopping center for basic needs. Friday buffet was basic but worth your money. A la carte menu is also basic but satisfying. Hotel had no qualms about food delivery from fastfood chains. Will stay here again. Will recommend to friends and colleagues

The Rooms and Flavors
Okay, this review is when I stayed there in October 2016 and I couldn't stay there on two subsequent visits due to earthquake damage, which, by the way, is still being repaired. It's shame about the earthquake damage as it has put the hotel out of commission for as long as it takes to fix, and in the Philippines, that will be a while. Fortunately, the restaurant below, Flavors, remains operational, and it is THE place to eat, for both service and food. I am, at the time of writing, in Surigao, staying elsewhere, but still eating at Flavors occasionally. They have credit card facilities. Just a few paces down from the hotel, there is the Parkway Supermarket, so if you want snacks or stuff to buy, that place has everything.
